It's pretty cool you can cash in your recyclables. The workers there weren't too helpful. It was very difficult to find where to go and what to do. They would point or just say "go there." Okay? Where is there? Eventually found where to bring our cans and bottles. Didn't get much for it. But I think for bigger items you'll definitely get more! read more

Had No issues first two times love the fact they had an stm machine that pays in the spot. Today I was suppose to be paid 270 it All came out in $5 dollar bills. Didn't stand there and count it assuming it came from an ATM So it must be right. When I got V to my destination it was short $50. Of Course I had no Way of Proving that so I basically got burned. Count the Money before leaving the property Specially if it come b out in all 5's or 1s!!! Cleaver way to rip off the public that are barely scrapping by... read more

So at first they will give you top dollar on your first visit", then after that they start stuffing you on the price! My 5th time there and some how with copper at 3.5o a pound I turned in 200 pounds of wire to walk away with 200 dollars in cash!" So I won't do business there again! And so neither will all my buddies who recycle . Nice work SA read more

Wonderful to be able to recycle, however there is broken glass bits all over the path to the recycle pile. If you are interested in taking a chance of a flat tire from lack of custodial glass clean-up, am using a different location. read more

Don't go here they will cheat you out of anything you recycle bad business. They will put everything into one bend and give you what they want. They don't weigh it properly so way your product before you go because they will cheat you. Been here twice. First time came with less product to recycle than this time came with more of the same product and receive less money than last time if you're not Mexican or speak Spanish. They will screw you over very racist would recommend going to this place or learn how to speak Spanish so they don't cheat you their other impression that no one else understands Spanish sadly mistaken people out here do and the things they were saying or just wrong management will try to cover it up because they really don't care. It's just a junkyard so be careful going here I highly recommend you go somewhere else read more

I had no idea what I was doing so asked nicely and everybody was very helpful. The reason why I'm giving it the rating I am is because the prices are awful! It was $.10 a pound for aluminum. I don't know if that's the price it other recycle shops or not. I think it might be worth it to call around first and ask. But the people here were nice read more

First timer here. Brought a trunk and backseat full of old car parts, speakers, and various cables. Easy to unload, obtain receipt then payment. E-waste not accepted, no problem. Will be back. read more

As far as recycling centers go, this place sucks. The workers are extremely unhelpful and I found where they've closed early on the weekends. Today was the second time they closed early on me. I talked to a worker, who said, "by the time they clean up and get everything put away, it is time to close." He told me to bring my truck around to another exit and he would take my cans. I sat at that other exit for a few minutes to realize he was totally lying. No one was coming to open the gate. Lol. Thanks, douche. read more

I've been going to champion recycling on Mead Avenue I thought I'd come back and give these guys one more shot I couldn't scan my receipt on their machine to get paid so I went to the Hispanic lady at the window she didn't really want to be helpful toward me so she walked to the machine while she let 2 other Hispanic people go in front of me and cut in line with like 9 receipts when I was the 1 that grabbed her function racist and the guy on the fork lift is a d******** made me move my truck because you couldn't drive around it and I was watching him drive a forklift which by the way I am forklift certified on the same 1 that he drives Don't worry I'm in a business where everybody recycles and I tell them to stay away from that place and they do and I'll keep telling 10 more and 10 more read more

if there were negative Stars I would definitely give them a negative five. they run ads on Craigslist saying that they buy cars for scrap and they give quotes over text or email. yet when you arrive with the vehicle they only are offering about a third of what they promised before you paid for a tow truck to have your vehicle taken to them. so by the time you're stuck there, do you end up taking the small amount of money they offer? in order to avoid any more hassle or tow fees??? they quoted me at $230 for my Explorer and gave me 96 when I got there. insulting to say the least read more

I mean it's a recycling center. In Las Vegas. They were nice and it was fast, the star rating is based on what you get for what you have. I expected at least $5 for our trunk full of bottles. We almost filled up one of their blue carts and got a whopping $1.90. Well just wait until we're visiting California to take our recycling there. read more

Terrible place. The guy in charge of the scale didn't speak English so we couldn't discuss him ripping me off. It seemed like his job was to rip you off, I had tons of stainless and if there was a single piece of steel like a nut on the part he would say "no" and discard it. Or he would slam his magnet on a huge stainless door I had and say "no" well I had my own magnet and knew it was stainless. Since they know you have junk and you can only scrap it, it's like they can steal from you and you can do nothing about it. I will never go there again. read more

I don't recommend recycling here, or maybe in Nevada.. The rates are very low. At this recycling center it's confusing what your suppose to do. The workers don't really help or anything, I don't believe they speak English. When you get there you park, go get a blue bin and put all your cans or whatever in there and then roll it to the scale. I had a full bin of cans which weighed like 123 grams?? They said they pay 30 cents a pound and I got $11.10. I was surprised coming from California where they pay around 2 dollars a pound for cans and like $1.70 for plastic. I thought maybe they pay more for metal, to my surprise it's 2 cents a pound. It's not worth it for me so I won't be coming back. read more

I was very disappointed in this place. I am disabled; the guy Did come out to assist me; but I don't agree with 'HOW" things are added up, [or not] They have an enclosed spot where another guy started punching a bunch of buttons. Customer is NOT able to see what is being weighed OR how much it weighs. I brought in lots of car & motorcycle engine parts [taken apart]; two cast iron arms from an outside bench [very heavy, each] quite a bit of aluminum motor parts; & trimming from bathroom re-do. Also some tin pcs. from out side; also a bag of alum. cans. pd. $1.50 & small amount of copper. I don't see where the heavy car parts R on my receipt. THESE PLACES should have a screen up; just like grocery stores where U can C items; weight & price && tare they R giving us. That way we can ask questions about what they R doing!!! There is NO way to know if they R entering lower paying materials.... I felt robbed when I saw I got only $32.00 for ALL items I collected to earn extra dollars to go with my disability check. I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE PROUD OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.!! IS THAT HOW U WOULD TREAT YOUR OWN PARENTS??? read more

Sa is the spot to be. Recycling @ this location is easy the drive on scale makes it easy to dump metal. I have been to plenty scrap yards in Las Vegas and they seem to be most efficient & pay more when you have some weight. read more

DO NOT scrap here unless you like being ran around like a little Mexican. They don't go by the actual number on there roll around carts. Each time I go there I have to remind them that I have aluminum and steel otherwise they go just go by what there 100 dollar magnet sticks to which is mainly almost everything. There prices are 30 to 40 cents lower compared to the rest of the yards in town. Today I brought them "400" pounds worth of lead and tire weights including the buckets and cart that was used to get it over to the scale. Jorge was my lucky guy ripping me off again today barley skimming the top of my bucket. He came up with some sticky tire weights that were magnetic, also some clip on style and told me that my load was dirty. So it's worth 10 cents a pound. Reg clean weights go for well over a dollar online so right away I knew they were playing some game. I asked if I could go through and sort it out but they said it was too late. Which is bs because the pistons I brought them days ago were allowed to have the rings taken off if I missed them and a quarter of them had undetachable lead to be separated. So instead of charging me for dirty lead he adds the whole order to be signed with outy my permission. Called me a crybaby because I check to see how much I'm getting ripped off for usually. Also said that he's no longer going to hook me up with an 12 cents for stuff that should've gotten you over a dollar per pound anywhere else So out of 320 pounds of l brought them (x2 five gallon buckets filled An inch from the top which is 310 - 320 pounds honest to god) and quote me 260 pounds of total metal and 136 in there 100 pound roll around cart. Jorge also wouldn't throw just the buckets on the scales too which was pretty crappy. I'm never the type to common here and write bad reviews but today was just too much. From now on I'm going around the corner to Champion recycling which have way better prices as well. I suggest you do the same unless you feel like Getting it put up the rear with no lube.
