Unfortunately, this comes down to communication and responsiveness and completing work. I am posting this review after giving ample time for them to respond.
Workmanship is not the best. Didn't take ownership of errors they made and left it as is. (The project is incomplete)
Seriously, they just left it. Its been more than few months and no response from them. I've messaged on yelp and iMessage/sms, called, left voicemail but no response or call back.
Wires are still hanging out the wall. Drilled incorrectly and haven't come back to finish the work.
I was very easy going due to pandemic and their scheduling was constantly delayed. I took days off work and they didn't show and I was still patient and understanding. They even told me stories about other clients and how bad they are and how a lot of them are getting mad because work can't be done during lock down. Which I understood because there was a time frame where non-essential work was on hold but now I wonder if they talk about me to others clients? Feels very unorganized. Unprofessional.
Shaneeza is very friendly but shouldn't be on the field. The hole Andy drilled from outside the house to the bedroom to run a ethernet cable was way too close to the edge of the perpendicular wall (Making it hard to put any wall plate on). Shaneeza was directing him. From outside - In. It should have been drilled Inside - Out, so space for wall plate and correct alignment for the conduit can be made. Maybe this feedback they can learn from? Dry wall damaged and didn't fix that either.
Ethernet cable was not crimped so its just a useless cable coming in with no point of plug. Conduit used outside was also not planned properly and curved instead. (Drill points were not aligned).
I provided them more work as they were willing to get other things done. I added more cost to myself so I can have someone clean up things.
The filler they used for the HVAC vent on outside wall cracks and it was mixed with filling foam and soft cement. It fell out twice. They came back to fix it, but using same incorrect method. I had to get it fixed myself.
Over all the price that was quoted for all the work and after everything was agreed upon they didn't complete it. They took more money than the work that was done and the remaining work wasn't finished.
Camera weren't installed, wiring wasn't done for it either.
On top of that. They were trying to steal other contactor's work (who was working in the basement) and trying to take over that project. Ironically saying "they can finish the project since the other contractor isn't".
The irony to that is, the original contract kept his word, and it was only delayed due to materials but these guys are the one who didn't show up or finish their work.
I was very excited. I was very happy. They talk the talk, but very little backing to their words.
I am SO HAPPY that I didn't give them my backyard project that I am just starting up this week. I would have lost money there too.
Project:
- Fishing wires for ethernet cat6a to main office in basement - Incomplete (Cables not crimped, termination point useless)
- Nest Doorbell installation - Incomplete, I purchased the parts they asked me but never installed it.
- Nest Camera's - Incomplete, never installed it. They said they won't set it up and that's my job, and I agreed. I was happy to do that part on my own. None of it happened
-HVAC intake and exhaust reroute - Completed but sealant used was incorrect and created holes in the wall that had to be resealed by myself.
Total loss.
Would I call them a scam? borderline yes. I think they are just very unorganized and will drop the project if they can't manage their own schedule properly.
By conversation, they seem pleasant but their professional work and actual experience is very lacking. They should stick to what they know and not pick up projects they have no experience in. read more
