I didn't make an appointment so when I walked in I was greeted and "got in line" on my phone using a QR code and texting system. I barely had to wait before I was able to sit down and address what I needed. Sometimes when I talk to people in finance they make me feel like an idiot for not having the same level of financial literacy they do. Mansplaining? Perhaps. Banker-splaining? Definitely. Not so with Kevin! He sat down with me and was down to earth, kind and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly without making me feel stupid or rushed. Kevin patiently helped me not only select a credit card that fits just want I need, but printed a new slate grey debit card to replace my falling apart ugly orange one and switched my one account to a performance select account. I'm happy to know I'm making the most of my money. Because I had such a positive experience, I came back again to make sure a check that I mobile deposited went through. I like walking up to the teller and seeing people in person. I don't want to be pushed towards technology or making deposits in a slot. Let me visit with someone and wait in line if I want to. I've noticed if a line gets long for tellers, a banker often jumps in to help which is great. Business bankers do a great job. I made an appointment to come to Dollar Bank on William Penn Highway to open an account with them…read more I called on Tuesday and they said all appointments on Wednesday were booked. The customer service representative (who was very pleasant) told me there was an opening for 11 and 2 PM on Thursday. I told her the 2 PM slot would work. At the end of the phone call she apologized and said the appointment was actually for 1, not 2 PM. So I go in today at 1 for my appointment and call them to tell them I have arrived. They tell me my appointment was actually yesterday (Wednesday) at 1. I could not go in anyways as there is only one person allowed in the building at one time. I do not understand why I was told the wrong appointment time. I went out of my way to go to monroeville just to have dollar bank tell me they screwed up my appointment time. I will not be banking with this company in the future. If they can't keep up with appointment times then I certainly do not trust them with my money.

I tried for three weeks to setup an account with a outside bank and after I email all the information to them three times. This bank is still not helping me.
