After the repair was completed, he then called his office and they quoted me over $400. After they realized there were no parts involved. they went down to $350. I paid it because I didn't want them to put a lien on my home. I think it was very unprofessional that I was not given the opportunity to decide if i wanted to pay the additional cost and I know that when a licensed contractor finds the problem he needs to let the customer know how much it's going to cost before he fixes it. That was clearly not the case with my situation.

Davis came out the same day and fixed it within 30 minutes. I then showed him some additional work we wanted done - the master bath tub had a leaking faucet and we also wanted shutoff valves installed on both the hot and cold lines behind the service panel. He quoted $520 for the spigot and tub work together, which I accepted. He came back two days later to perform the tub work (less than 60 minutes). I was very satisfied with the experience and expect to use Pratt again for future plumbing needs. Highly recommended.
