Truly an outstanding product. Locally sourced. Dave truly cares about his bees. Be sure to try the hot honey when it's available.

I preordered…read moreonline a veggie platter, a small cheese and meat board, some petite toasts, and the cheesemonger's choice for some extra cheese a week before pick up. We came in on a Saturday and was unable to find street parking so as others advised, I had my friend watch the car and drive around as I made my way to the shop. The shop was so cute, it's small but with everything you'd need for a cheese and meat party including breads, canned additions/fish, and wines! I grabbed a fresh loaf of baguette to add to the order. Both trays were ready and absolutely fresh. The honorable cheesemongers overlooking shop were very nice and helpful! One female worker was providing samples for a gentleman when he asked for recommendations and my cheesemonger asked what kind of cheese texture I generally liked and offered to give me a cheese from three different animals, which I thought was absolutely awesome! She even offered to help me carry my trays out. The veggie tray was awesome, a great size, half pickled half not pickled, the dips were both amazing! We got the green goddess and Calabrian chili aioli and both were such a hit at our get together. The peppers are slightly spicy and were so delicious. We loved the variety of cheese and did not have a single cheese we didn't like. The petite toasts with the meat and cheese board is a must! So good and crispy and a perfect size for a bite. The trays were really sturdy and we appreciated the care put into the layout. We'll definitely be back Oh La Vache!

So who knew we had a high end gourmet grocery spot on 4th street?…read more I don't buy chunks of cheese so even though it's their specialty, yeah, no. But I do love love love a wickedly good sandwich!! So was recommended to go to this spot and search out their sandwiches. I was so curious that one day after I had that recommendation given to me via a friend on the SWIM team I took myself and my wife down to this cute location. The sandwiches are premade, which makes it fast and easy, and sometimes they even sell out. The staff behind the counter were extremely friendly and we picked up two delightful sandwiches and were on our way. We couldn't be any happier with their delightful sandwiches. We sat in chairs outdoor outdoors on fourth Street and watch the world roll by. It was a delightful date with my wife. Many other couples were also witnessed, dropping in grabbing sandwiches and heading out. Put this spot in your popcorn, popper, and bubble up just right for you!

The veggie sandwich though is our favorite. It is out of this world. Our server every time we go is Brandon and he's such a vibe and always makes the best wine recommendations. This place is in a family friendly neighborhood and the restaurant accomodates children so don't be surprised if there's kids when you go. It's pretty normal.

It's located in Bixby Knolls, surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries, yet it's the only true wine bar right there. Honestly, Long Beach has more wine bars than most surrounding areas, and since the South Bay is packed with breweries, if you're tired of beer this is your sign to switch it up. You will not regret it. The food menu has cheese boards, salads and sandwiches, and everything I've had here has been delicious. The cheese boards are better than sex. There is seating indoors and outdoors. It's minimal, but somehow we always manage to find a table. The service is consistently great and the owner is wonderful. She will be leaving soon and she will absolutely be missed, but what she has built here will definitely be cherished. The new owners fell in love with the place, so you can expect it to be well taken care of and to remain just as charming. Parking is street only, so read the signs carefully so you don't end up with a ticket. If you go on a Sunday there are no restrictions or time limits, which makes it even better.

The way it works is you order first, then wait for them to seat you once a table opens up. It was super busy, so there was a bit of standing around while waiting for a table. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of that setup, but honestly...the food made it completely worth it. What we ordered: * Almond croissant * Ube cruffin * Lemon ricotta pancakes * Breakfast burrito with bacon * Side of potatoes * Strawberry pistachio matcha * Cinnagave shaken espresso Everything was absolutely incredible. I'm seriously craving it again while writing this The food was amazing, and the drinks were next-level good. The café itself is adorable, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Also, shoutout to the sweet woman with the star clips in her hair! She was so friendly, and my niece loved that she complimented the Jigglypuff on her water bottle. I'll definitely be coming back. This place truly doesn't miss, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

First, a heads-up: parking in the area can be a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead and expect to look for street parking. That said, once you arrive, everything runs impressively smoothly. You'll stand in line to place your order at the register, and then they'll seat you. There are two seating options, an indoor patio and an outdoor patio; both with a really cute, inviting vibe. What really stood out was the thoughtful Mother's Day touch. While we were in line, they offered champagne and gave out roses, white for mothers who are no longer with us and red for those who are. Such a beautiful and meaningful gesture. Once seated, drinks came out quickly, and the food followed shortly after. I was genuinely impressed with how efficient and well-organized everything was, especially given how busy it was. For food, I ordered the Dutch Baby, and my companion had the Bailey's Breakfast, both were delicious and well-prepared. Between the great food, charming decor, and amazing service, this place really delivered. I'll definitely be back.

You could definitely find fruits, vegetables, yogurt, breads, and honey; however, what brings this from 3 stars to 4 stars are the variety of food vendors that attend the market. As you drive by, you'll tend to see about five to eight food trucks serving Jamaican, Philly Cheesesteaks, Birria, Tacos, Pupusas, Churros, and American BBQ. My favorite vendors here are Battambong BBQ, which has a great reputation for their barbecue with Cambodian flavors and Churros Don Abel Jr, for their made-to-order churros. Unfortunately, Battambong was not present this week (as the chef was on vacation for the week), but I'll be back soon for Battambong's delicious smoked brisket and Cambodian-style sausages. Overall, this is a small, local farmer's market with excellent food choices; however, you can definitely find the fresh fruits and vegetables if that's what you seek.
