S&M is the cutest hidden gem! The vibes are everything intimate, cozy, and with the cutest speakeasy feel. The wine tasting was such a fun, and the atmosphere made it feel like more than just another winery stop. The owner, Jeremy was amazing and made the experience even more special! Definitely a must visit when you're in Los Olivos!

This was an unexpected treat! We stumbled upon The Hideaway by happenstance when we popped up to Los Olivos from Solvang to pick up wine from a nearby tasting room. This place is a Vibe. Its adorable! Jeremy was at the bar to greet us and from the get go he was so sweet! We were the only two the whole time because the weather was rainy and cold so no one was really out, and Jeremy hosted us graciously! Obviously this is his passion project and he absolutely takes absolute joy in it. He puts so much thought into every detail in the space. We will absolutely return! O

We went looking for Carhartt which used to be at this site but found the Hideaway Wine Co. instead. What a great find! We meet both owners who are responsible for both the wine blends and art. Every wine we tried where awsome from Flocking Fabulous Souvigon Blanc to the Last Call Cab Franc. We left with 3 bottles and will likely join there Club so we can have this wonderful fluid of the Gods shipped to us.

Every swiftie and non-swiftie needs to visit this absolute gem of a tasting room, Jeremy and Tim are so fabulous, inclusive, this is the cutest. Not swiftie themed but I appreciated the swiftie/beyonce ambiance. Immaculate vibes and wine, the S&M was my personal favorite followed by the Chill AF Red Blend. Adorable decor perfect for an IG photo shoot. We will absolutely be back!!

This tasting room is a hidden gem in Los Olivos. Tim & Jeremy are fantastic winemakers but they're also amazing hosts if you're lucky to come in while they're in-house. Of course anyone they bring in to pour is really fun, not to mention the wines!!! They have a large selection and they're all absolute bangers. My favorite is the cab franc Last Call and the Flocking Fabulous red blend. Make an appointment or just walk in (Thurs-Sun). You'll be glad you did.

A great new addition to the town of Los Olivos. Opened in the old Carhart tasting room. The new owners gave the old room a facelift and the back patio has been redone. Now with a firepit that also doubles as a little stage for live music. We were lucky to drop in the day they were releasing their new wines. Loved them all. Very creative labels. The owner is a photographer and uses his photography for the labels. Each one with a unique story. This tasting room will be on our regular stop list.

Wow! The wines are one thing, but Mary is on a completely different level…read more Mr. Stolpman clearly knows how to hire incredible, knowledgeable staff. Mary didn't just know the wines--she knew which restaurants back home in Texas carry Stolpman wines, the stories behind different bottles, and even why certain wines were created, including the ones named after his wife and children. I tried August's wine and immediately thought, "This has to be a strong-willed kid." It reminded me of the kind of wine I would name after my own son--strong-willed, full of character, and beautiful. At the end of our tasting, Mary even waived our tasting fee. We enjoyed the experience so much that we've decided to become members. And if this somehow makes its way to Mr. Stolpman: please do something special for Mary at the Los Olivos tasting room. She is an exceptional representation of your wines, your story, and your brand.

The place is casual and not tiny, but it definitely fills up. I don't think they were taking walk-ins while we were there. The tasting room--or tasting patio, I suppose--was really pleasant, a breezy outdoor space in front of a charming brick-red house with a strong Los Olivos aesthetic. My only complaint is that the bathroom was a porta-potty, though it was the nice kind, with running water. We got our own table and a friendly, knowledgeable young server brought us our wines and explained what we were drinking. He was busy, so this was one of the less in-depth tastings we did on this trip, but the experience was easy and enjoyable. There were two tastings on offer, the classic estate flight and the "fresh and esoteric." Since this was our first visit, we both went with the estate, and it was a great introduction to Stolpman's wines. We tried the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc, the 2024 Chenin Blanc, the 2024 La Cuadrilla, the 2023 Sangiovese, and the 2024 Angeli, the label's flagship Syrah. They were all excellent and very well priced--the Cuadrilla goes for $26. It's also a delicious wine with a cool provenance, a red blend made by Stolpman's vineyard workers on a designated block, in what looks to be a successful profit sharing project. The tasting fee was $25, waived with a three-bottle purchase. We snapped up three each of the Sauvignon Blanc and the Sangiovese, which cost $24 and $36 a bottle. Tremendous value for such outstanding wines. I have a feeling we'll go through these quickly, and may be tempted to join the wine club if we do. Either way, though, I hope to go back to Stolpman. I'm definitely curious about that second tasting.

I feel that high production companies are more about quantity and less about quality. That is not the case here! The wines are fantastic! Super complex, yet very approachable at the same time. So, every level of soil gives the grapes a unique flavor profile! There has even been fossils of whales found on their property! They are located just a few miles outside of Orcutt, Ca and it's so worth the drive. Yes, you can find their wines all over the world, but the tasting room offers a reserve flight that can only be sampled on premises. If you are a local or a veteran, they offer a special deal on sundays! How cool is that?? The grounds are also so beautiful! Becca is awesome by the way! We came with our pup, and Google Maps took us up Tepusquet from the 166. Don't do it. Just don't. I love a good adventure, but this didn't make any sense for being any faster or more efficient. It's windy, narrow, and steep. Poor June was car sick from the drive. While the drive had some great views, we were anxious to get to Cambria. Upon arrival we noticed that the tasting room was uphill from the vineyards, providing a great view. I will say that the tasting room was cut into a little crevice so the views from the deck are limited. However, there is a beautiful private tasting area on a hill (when you turn into the winery parking lot) that would be a fantastic spot for good views. The wine was nice, plenty of variety. And I appreciated the unique guidance of wines from the staff. By providing your preferred wines and notes they will create a personal tasting menu. We also opted for the charcuterie for 2 which was perfect. Plenty of bites to accompany our tasting. Because wine is so unique it's always difficult to review, so I prefer to focus on the experience as a whole, and Cambria nailed it. We would definitely return and hang out by their fireplace. Until next time!

We'd had one of the pinots at a fancy restaurant a few years back and knew the place had a good reputation. We also appreciated the easy walk-in situation on a Saturday afternoon. The tasting room was casual and charming, part "mercantile," selling wine, of course, and sundry gift items and home goods. There was plentiful seating, some of it at the bar and some of it in what felt like a large living room, homily decorated with lots of art on the walls. It was pretty busy while we were there, but not in the least bit crowded. We sat at the bar, which was run by an enormous former football player (if I eavesdropped correctly) and a woman from New Zealand on the verge of retirement. I'd watch that movie. We were helped by the woman, who was friendly and knowledgeable, a great guide to the house wines. The flight started with the 2025 Rosé of Mourvédre, then went to Liquid Farm's Chardonnays and Pinots. There was the 2024 White Hill Chardonnay, the 2024 Golden Slope Chardonnay, the 2023 "SBC" Pinot Noir, the 2023 Fiddlestix Pinot Noir, and the 2023 Four Pinot Noir. The wines were fantastic across the board. The tasting fee was $40, on the steep side, probably because the space invites casual drinking. It was easily waived, with one flight waived per two bottles purchased. The wines were all between $30 and $94, so this was easy math. The kind of easy math that had us leaving Los Olivos with a trunk--and back seat--full of wine. We picked up a White Hill Chardonnay, an "SBC" Pinot, and two of the Fiddlestix, a prime haul that we look forward to drinking. We had a lovely time at Liquid Farm and would recommend it to anyone wine tasting in Los Olivos.

I'm a huge wine nerd, so I tend to ask a lot of questions, usually because I'm genuinely excited about what's in the glass. Most people probably wouldn't care about that level of detail, but for me it made the experience that much better. It was a pretty slow day when we visited, so we were able to have a really personal tasting experience, which is always my favorite. If the room had been packed, I'm sure the interaction would have been different, but that's not a knock on them at all. We just got lucky with the timing. The tasting room itself isn't doing anything wildly unique, but honestly, who cares when the wines are this good?
