Called back to check on the part and the store manager said he didn't know when it would come in, and did not care. Did not care that my family has no transportation to work, and made it clear he could have cared less. No effort to fix the problem, offer help, listen, work with us. This guy should get a different job if he's miserable there, and let someone willing to work and help people be put in his current position. We have spent a lot of money with Advance Auto Parts through the years, but never again. O'Reilly or Auto Zone will get our money from now on. We're in a really bad spot now, and lost time when we could have went to a different company that would have given us dependable info/help. Zero stars.

I've shopped here for years and been satisfied.  Over the last 6 months I bought Sylvania Ultra Low…read moreBeam Headlights twice at this location and both failed at different times.  I carried the first failure in over a month ago, but the cashier couldn't find a record of the purchase.  I carried the second failure in today and the cashier (again) could not find a record of the purchase.  I was told weeks ago that Advance keeps records of purchases and ties those purchases to my telephone number, but apparently not.  Either Advance Auto's Point of Sale software is defective or the cashier who recorded my earlier purchases was not fully competent or the cashier I carried the failed bulb to was not fully competent.  The money loss due to an unfulfilled warranty for the Sylvania bulbs is small, but the irritation with an unreliable organization when it comes to recording and keeping records is very high!  Of course, there are plenty of other parts stores where I will now carry my business.  I've been burned twice here.  I don't want to get burned a third time.   AS AN UPDATE to this I went to the Clemson Blvd. Advance Auto days later to see if they could find a record of my prior purchase, and they did find it very quickly.  So, I got a new bulb there at no cost.  That means the cashier at the highway 81 location who could not find a prior record of my purchase was the incompetent link.  Ah, it's the older guy that acts like he knows everything.

I would have sued if it was more money on the line but legal fees would've been more expensive and not worth the hassle. I'm just glad it's over and done with and we don't have to deal with either of these people. So the wife and I took a ride over to the shop. Walk in and was greeted with a very warm welcoming. Owner asked us if he could help us and we informed him that a mutual friend had sent us there cause right now I'm not looking for horsepower I was looking for an aggressive and loud sound that I know would make any hemi sound good. He tolds us let him finish with the vehicle he had in front of us and he would be more than happy to help get us what we were looking for. He finished the other vehicle and pulled our truck into the shop and started working on it. Came in after removing old system and asked us if we want single chamber or dual chamber and then went over the options for the tips. After picking what we what we want it seemed like no time had past and I heard the roar of my truck and smile appeared on my face and I have not quit smiling since I left their shop. The work is outstanding and the price is very reasonable. Can't thank them enough. Wished I could give the shop ten stars cause they deserve it.

Carried my truck to get worked on to get tuned and check the oil pressure. They did the tuning and…read morethen when they went back and went to do the oil pressure there was metal in the oil pan they recommended to rebuild the motor. At this time I did not have money for that wanted to just get the truck running to where I can drive it until I can get something else They called me up told me that it was ready to come pick up and paid the other bill didn't drive 500 feet from the shop the motor locks up. Turns out they did not replace the oil pump that needed to be replaced to get the truck running the right way. Spent over 2000.00. Came in with a running vehicle and left w a locked motor and no transportation. Have disputed the transaction w no results.
