I wanted to have a family picture with particular shades to fill my living room. With Covid and toddlers we just kept pushing it off until Mini Artbox showed me her work. This is not just a photograph, it's art, and it's SO AFFORDABLE. It's less than what a photo session cost including the printed pictures and frame. Just ask and be surprised at the cost. We ordered a huge canvas and she worked with me over 2 days. I sent her over 10+ pictures at different times and dates and we worked together to choose the right pose and size and she hand blends, stencils, and paints it to life. ‍ She's taking commissions right now, and I hesitate to share, but it's SUCH a wonderful gift even when social distancing. I decided to hire her for dinner services since she was the only chef in the area to respond to my request. The food was less than mediocre/salty, and her prices were well above the average chefs. I did not complain, and I gave her a 20% tip. I decided to give her another try, so I requested a breakfast quote, but she tried to charge an outlandish fee of $700 for two people. I questioned the charges, and she decided to drop the price to $500. I texted her multiple times before the scheduled date, but she never responded. A week before services, I reached out to her, and she finally responded five days before the scheduled appointment. She told me she had a cold, so she could not respond, and she would be unable to provide services for the planned date. I have never known anyone suffering from a cold who could not contact the client well in advance and inform them they could not make the scheduled appointment. I would be leery of hiring her and ensuring she provides an itemized list of all your requests. Experience is a good teacher.
