He is beyond talented and an absolute genius when it comes to all things hair. Every single appointment I walk out feeling like the best version of myself. Trademark Salon is truly five star from top to bottom. The professionalism, the atmosphere, the attention to detail, everything is done to perfection. Even the coffee they make in house feels luxurious. It's giving Michelin star vibes, but for hair. If you're looking for someone gifted, consistent, and genuinely passionate about their craft, Carlos is it. Hands down the best stylist in the Houston area.

Sal is a responsible hair stylist and will tell you if it's safe to process your hair. He will tell you the truth about what is realistic for your expectations or if your hair has to be done in multiple sessions. I appreciate the care and caution, a lot of hair places I've been in the past aren't so careful with the hair. In 6 weeks I will be going a bit lighter. The salon itself is super nice. They ask you if you'd like a water, coffee or some tea. They have snacks if you're there for hours and need a little food. The salon is clean, the music makes the place feel like a fashion show and I've also taken my mom here! She loved it.

Her head massages are incredible, and my blowouts last a full week thanks to the products she recommends for between washes. I'm always so happy with how my hair looks--fresh, full, and healthy--even as it's starting to thin. I get compliments constantly. My tween daughter has been wanting highlights, and although I wasn't sure about it at first, Jas created a subtle, low-maintenance plan that was perfect. She did a beautiful dimensional brunette that both my daughter and I absolutely loved. I'll definitely continue my weekly blowouts with Jas and keep bringing my daughter for maintenance.

I found Candice on TikTok. Being new to Texas I've been looking for a new salon, came across her…read morepage, and some of the pictures of her work were not my style, but she did have some that was similar to what I was looking for. Coming in I had one solid color. I was transparent about my hair history, I showed her what my end goal was and understood that it was a process meaning that it may take more than two or three visits. I was looking for a balayage, and I think she should have been transparent and honest in stating that she does not know how to do a balayage. She proceeded to highlight my entire hair she asked for help multiple times with almost everyone else in the salon. While sitting under the dryer, she then double processed my hair with more bleach stating that she needed a higher level of bleach. My hair is naturally dirty blonde and has never had an issue lifting. I was under the dryer for a total of 45 minutes. She took me back to rinse while rinsing. She stopped to go get someone else who came to look at my hair then they both left to talk in private. She came back and toned my hair and then said she was offering me a free mask treatment. At this point, I started to think that she had damaged my hair. When we got back to her chair and she took off the towel my hair was still pretty orange and it was just complete stripes. Nothing about it was balayage. The highlights were all the way up in the front later I found out most of the back ones were mid shaft. She did no shadow root. I explained that my hair felt gummy before she hid it with a bunch of products and she said it was just because it was freshly bleached and still wet. I said that my hair has NEVER been like this. She brought over what I assumed was the owner / manager lady who looked at my hair and they walked off to talk. They both came back and blow dried my hair together. She did not flat iron or curl. I'm assuming now because she didn't want to put any extra heat. She covered it with products and shine spray so it felt soft like it would when you leave a salon. I shared my concerns and they both continued to say that it is a process. This happens when your hair is freshly bleached, but that it is not damaged. Once I got home and really looked at it I realized that it was very stripy. Some of it was not toned properly and was very orange and that the highlights were not even. Towards the back you could tell she got lazy and rushed so they were very chunky. Three days later, I washed my hair, removing all of that product instantly felt like straw in the shower while I was washing my hair pieces were coming out gummy. I put a mask on my hair and then when I got out while it was wet, you could see that it was like spaghetti, gummy hair. It was severely damaged. I let it dry naturally to not put any extra stress on it. And the breakage is almost all the way to the crown of my head and it wasn't even cut correctly or even. I have since had to go to another salon for keratin treatments and to cut half of my hair off. I have NEVER in my life has such a horrible experience, and what's more, is it will take so long to restore my hairs health and length. I shared with her that I was trying to color match some extensions I was going to have put in. Now I am even further out from being able to do so because I cannot put any more bleach in my hair. I understand she may not have a large clientele, but this is not how you retain business. This could have all been avoided. Should she have just stated prior to my appointment when I messaged her photos of what I was looking for that she cannot do a balayage. We could have shifted the process or avoided the appointment entirely. This was simply greed and dishonesty. I manage a large sales team and this is not how you retain customers. I paid almost $200 to get my hair damaged and have since paid another $330 to start the process of repair. Did I get my money back? No. Did she apologize? No. Did she take advantage of me by trying to gaslight me thinking that my hair was normal to feel this way? Absolutely. I'm not saying that there were not people in this salon that can do a great job, but she's definitely not one of them.
