I went to Morgan for the first time. Shared with her what I wanted and even showed her photos and everything. Looked great when I left. When I got home and saw my hair in differnt lightings it looks nothing like the photo I showed her. I contacted her and informed her I though she had pulled more brown through the bottom of my blonde hair to add more dimension. Clearly there was a miscommunication some how even with a photo.. then I asked her if she could fix it for me and she told me no becuase I didn't say anything before I left the salon. Well how could I when It was dark outside and no natural/ good lighting. She refused to fix my hair after over charging me for it in the first place. Normally for something like I did it would cost no more than $200 (I dont have much hair and it isn't long, not to mention my hair was already light) she charged me almost $400! And refused to refund me any of my money. I highly DO NOT recommend Morgan at all. Save yourself some money and go to someone else! UPDATE: I reached out to the owner and she was so helpful when it came to this incident, she apologized and sent me to Emily to have my hair fixed and Emily was amazing! She fixed my hair and it looks a million times better!! I would 100% recommend Emily! read more

Truly bummed.... For someone that can't afford to go to a salon ....stay out of this one! Went in to get hair lightened came out looking about the same as I went in....but cost $230.00. No one I knew even noticed any change in my hair....for me that is 2 full work weeks in pay to cover.I let Sarah know how I felt...the owner did try and call me but I was already on plane going to visit family. I will never recommend or go here again. They at least should of offered a partial refund or something.... read more

I waited until the last minute to get a haircut, and nowadays that's almost impossible to do. However, that was not the case with Sélon CDA. I was able to book an appointment online very easily for the date and time I needed. I had tried a few other places, but they did not answer the phones or I left a message (I know many businesses are short handed so I understand). I was greeted right as I walked in the door by my beautician - Nicole Eskue. She went over what I needed and what would look good. It had been almost a year since my last haircut, so it definitely needed lots of help. After the nice scalp massage during the shampooing and conditioning treatments, she got down to business. By the end of the appointment, my hair and scalp felt great and the haircut itself was perfect. She did some layers and shaping around the face and jawline. I'll be back here as the price was extremely reasonable for all of her hard work. read more

If there were a negative star review.... I went in for a blowout and left with crappy hair. I thought I would treat myself to something nice but instead I just left angry. I booked a "Bombshell" online.... my stylist was late, and didn't listen to me,and the front desk person tried to tell me that I was the one who wanted my hair stick straight. They didn't do anything to make it right and left it as "too bad", even I said I wasn't happy with what they did. So now Im out $45, and have to re-do my hair myself. I would think if they wanted repeat customers, these ladies would do the right thing and fix their mistakes. I will NOT be returning and I will not refer anyone here. I love a good blowout. I would even say I am a "blowout snob" - I love it so much, I seek out places wherever I go to find one that I can call mine...I travel a lot for work, and live in Seattle, and go to CDA to visit my in-laws as often as I can. Last summer, I found StyleBar, and have not even tried to find a different blowout bar. Kristen is a freakin' hair master...she gives a great head massage in their comfortable Lazy Boy like recliners, and she really gets how to style. Anytime I am in CDA, I make it a point to go here for a little treat for myself, and enjoy some time with the wonderful, funny and fun loving staff in their phenomenally decorated and appointed salon. Made an appointment through Yelp so my fiancé could have her makeup done prior to a friend's wedding, which we both had major roles in. I set the appointment such that it would end near the time of the start of the event so that she would not have to walk around with makeup all day. 10 minutes prior to the appointment, the stylist cancelled because she was busy with another client, which would have delayed our appointment by 30 to 40 minutes. This rendered us unable to get her makeup done, so she had to do it on her own. No alternatives were offered except going to Ulta instead, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. read more

Best blow out ever!! Darling and classy ambiance with super talented stylists. So happy I found it last minute before attending a wedding.

Went to Style Bar to get daughter's hair styled. Blowouts cost 35, they said if you want more style it will be probably be a little more. $65 later she was done with flyaways galore. I felt like I was robbed. 10 minutes later it started to fall out. The lady that did it rang us up at the end and actually asked me if I wanted to leave a tip for her. That was extremely awkward.
