Whenever I travel I always like to eat the local food, but the vegetarian version. As we were walking down the street I decided to look at menus posted outside the restaurants and just so happened to stumble upon this place. I was immediately attracted the the large green vegan V's on the menu, then I say it vegetable paella. The paella was a large portion, I wasn't able to finish it all. It was presented really nicely in a hot cast iron dish. The rice had a rich flavor. It had plenty of vegetables throughout; carrots, lima beans, peas, green beans, and artichokes. I was left satisfied and felt like I got my paella fix. I also ordered a Sangria. It was filled with plenty of fruit, was sweet enough but not intoxicatingly sweet like they can be sometimes. I recommend getting the sangria if you come. It was a decent price around 3 € for a cup. My friend orders a potato frittata and pumpkin filled ravioli. Both of the dishes were insanely good, especially the potato frittata. For tourists, they do have an English version of the menu and can speak English. If you are in Madrid, you are a vegetarian, and you want paella I recommend coming here.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Francisco, who said it was either the best or worst decision we just made. Long story short, it was the best. Let's recap. 1. We were originally a bit skeptical because of the 40% discount if you made your reservation through TripAdvisor. However, when the complimentary tapas was served, we were hooked. I can't really describe it and we both don't like goat cheese. However, we were so surprised that the cheese on it was in fact goat cheese. Wow. 2. We ordered risotto and ceviche, both were the best we've had on the trip. Portions were quite large as well. I ordered a small steak tartare which was good as well. Just wasn't a fan of the olives as I'm not an olive person. 3. We ordered the steak and Iberian pork. Omg, at 20 euros for the steak, before the discount, it was honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had. The Iberian pork, were incredible. We were a bit concerned about the very pinkish color, but were reassured it was okay to eat. Also, wow best pork ever. 4. Finally, although stuffed, we had to order desserts. We ordered the tiramisu and chocolate brownie. Incredible. These desserts do not leave you filling stuffed or bloated. Ultimately, one of the best meals we've ever had in our lives. If there is no longer the discount, still make it a priority to go. The decor is homely and rustic. Photos are of Francisco's family and friends. The food Is priced very reasonably and we will always drop by when we're ever back in Madrid. Thanks for the incredible dinner and service!
