We are not mall people, but this was a treat to see how malls differ in Switzerland from that in the USA. We were able to freely roam about the mall, taking in a beautiful assortment of stores, all displaying their goods in a tempting way. There was a national book fair going on so different areas of the mall were displaying books in interesting ways, all enticing in their own right. We were also able to inquire about railway options for our trip to Zermatt the next day, a helpful kiosk to offer advice and tickets if needed. We bought some nice items that are unique to Switzerland and found some wonderful books to bring back home.

Thought I'm a city rat and don't like venturing outside of Zurich city to shop; especially the…read morethought of paying an extra CHF6 to pay for an extra 1-2 zones; it is a REAL mall and truly worth it! When I step in here, it reminds me as if I am home in the US all of a sudden, so you know it's the real deal. There are tons of stores in here for shopping and also a good sized area for food with sushi, Thai, wraps, Italian, sandwiches and coffee. There are many various clothing and accessory shops, and even has an official Apple store here, which was quite useful for me! The bus that comes here runs often (94,787) to transfer to tram 9 and also there is a huge parking lot for those who drive; so it's quite easy to get to if your starting point is around the HB.

A small Migros with a not that good range of take away products…read more.. It's a small Migros next to the Tram museum (and next to a wine store). It is very convinient if you need something fast, they have from everything a bit. I always go here for lunch at around 12:30. It's very disappointing that at that time there are almost no bread roles anymore. And the salad choice is very limited (only two) and soups as well. You would think that in a small Migros like this one here they would have more choice for take-out.
