This airline lives on hidden fees, bad attitudes, and dilapidated airplanes. By the time they get done w you a full service airline would be as good a deal and much more pleasant.
I had quite a good experience with RyanAir when I took a flight from Stansted to Eindhoven. I didn't take luggage, but no problem with taking a carry on, and it didn't look to be checking dimensions. Staff were very friendly and it was a seamless journey both ways. I would fly with them again to holland! read more

Unlike most airlines that allow one carry on bag and one personal item, Ryanair sneakily provides one check on bag and one personal item, so when I got to the gate in Dublin a RUDE sassy attendant with a bad attitude made me feel like an idiot for not checking my bag, and then made me pay €60 extra to check I what should've been a free bag. read more

Shame you can't give zero or negative stars. Ripped off on the booking charges where it didn't let you take the seats that you'd already paid for. Made me pay for them a second time. Only realised after completing the booking. Tried to call to resolve - their phone lines don't work. Chat team rude and unhelpful. Made complaint. Ignored and closed with canned responses. Don't have a complaints process. Then going through the airport was horrible experience. No information on flight. Ended up stood on runway by plane for half an hour with no updates, no apology. Rude stewards when we got on the plane - one of them barging past the others in the aisle. Horrible to watch. Then got asked to move backwards to the seats we had been double charged for because the plane wasn't balanced. Total joke. read more

I begrudgingly give this company one star. If I could, I would give them none. I am mentally impaired. Memory is an issue for me and I'm often being charged for things like late check-in fees. But I always apply for a refund and provide proof of my disability and I always receive it. Ryanair is the first company to reject my refund claim, despite the fact that I provided evidence of my disability. I have emails from them which can easily be interpreted as disability discrimination being part of their policy. read more

"You get what you pay for". I traveled for work for 13 years. So I've had some bad experiences flying. I understand that all systems have flaws. Unfortunately I will never book with Ryanair. The level of incompetence was to great. To top it off they made me pay $140£ for 2 carry ons on my return flight. Even after I had paid for priority on original booking. The bags fit nicely "on the way" to Edinburgh. Those bags arrived 2 hours late after my arrival. I could go on, and on. Fair warning. read more

0 stars if possible. Especially for flight attendant "N4" because he rufused to give his name. This is genuinely the worst airline ive ever flown with, ive taken 3 flights within 1 week and have been delayed a total of 6 hours between them all. They try force people to check bags that are standard carry on sizes and the staff is extremely rude to customers. We were told by the airport employees that ryanair employees get commison for forcing checked bags. Never been more unhappy with services in my over 20 years of flying. These people are NASTY read more
We had to fly from London to Venice. When I asked my European cousins what locals use for cheap airfare, they referred me to Ryanair but warned me to read ALL the fine print. And so I did. From London to Venice and back to London, I found options of 3 flights a day. The mid-day/afternoon flight happened to be the one I needed, and of course that was the most expensive one. Upon booking, I also found that I am required to pay to book a specific seat because my son is underage. At the end, I paid about (US) $750 for 3 of us, roundtrip from London to Venice, including the seat charge. The one perk of paying for the seats early is that I was able to check in 30 days in advance for each leg of the trip, so I was able to print out boarding passes at home before we left for our vacation. Btw, I think I read that if you are traveling from outside the EU, you need to PRINT your boarding passes - do it at home or they will CHARGE YOU an insane amount to print at their kiosk (don't let them catch you for this charge - it's an easy one to avoid if you just know about it) Not getting charged for luggage was a big thing for me, so I read about their luggage size allowances (which by the way is nearly impossible to find something that works in the States because the width requirement is far smaller than what I was able to find - except I was lucky to find ONE $25 option at Costco that was only available for a week or so before they sold out!). We flew out of Stansted Airport, and it was a LONG ride from London, even on the "express" train. Getting to the right station in London, then taking the 45 minute train ride, probably took up 1 hour 15 minutes, if not more. We boarded the plane on the run way - our group had to go down and up stairs, and points to the mom by herself, hauling a stroller down stairs (with her kid in the stroller!) plus her huge pack on her back. Then we had to take the stairs up to the plane doors. Once we were on the plane, the inside just screamed "Southwest plane, in a blue and yellow disguise". Overall the 2 hour flight was fine. The attendants were attentive and the flight was on time. I would say I was too stressed out about not getting charged for something I missed, but I was okay after reading to fine print and taking care of the details. Whether I fly them again will just depend on where I need to go in the future - for shorter distances I think I'd prefer taking a train instead. read more

Do not fly Ryanair. You think you'll be saving money, but you won't. You'll end up paying more. Total scam of an airline.

There comes a point when you have to value yourself more than you value saving money. Every time I have flown with Ryanair I have said that it would be my last time but because of the routes - they tend to fly to regions that are obscure but oddly useful when visiting friends and family in parts of Europe - and the value. However it has come to a point where I have to value myself more than these factors. I would rather spend more and fly to a larger hub and take a train or coach to the location that I need than ever spend a penny with this airline again. You can't even get angry at the staff anymore because the very fact that they have to work for an organisation that has such poor customer care surely means that they have been trained to remove their souls and are in fact human robots. Their leadership and c-suite constantly changing rules and tweaking factors to squeeze out every penny or catch customers out. Flying should be a pleasurable experience but if you travel with Ryanair your anxiety will hit maximum levels because you'll be checking that you have met their measurement requirements so often that you will forget something and be penalised for it. We forgot to check in by 2 minutes and were charged £55 per person (including a 2 year old). We were running late due to train cancellations and were directed to a slow moving queue if we we had not been so flustered we would have been on time to check in online and also just to catch a breath. Even when you think you're saving money you're not really unless of course you make sure you follow every single rule and don't make any human errors - of course we could have remembered to check in but to not even have been shown grace for 2 minutes is quite a spectacular level of greed. Ironically ryanair was late to take off and yet did we get any compensation? Nope. An apology over the intercom. They make the travel experience so soulless and unenjoyable. It won't matter that we won't travel with them again, they continue to have customers and make silly jokes on X (aka Twitter) for bants. I've never wished for a company to crumble because nobody wants to see people lose their jobs but the day that this company finally comes to an end is the day that I will celebrate. (I've shared this review on 3 different sites because I'm committed to spreading the word that this airline is terrible - thank goodness for copy and paste) read more
This is not another review putting down RyanAir for sucking at customer service, comfort, bag fees, etc. Everyone knows about this and expects it. If you follow the rules, you will not be hassled. If you get caught, the rules are clearly and repeatedly stated months and days before your flight. Do your homework and move on; this is not the fault of RyanAir. I hate RyanAir because every landing I've experienced with them--four as of this review--has been a near-death experience. All four landings rank as the worst I've experienced in my travels around the world. My wife, who is a pilot and has a degree in aviation management, agrees. Have we been unlucky? Possibly; however, with four flights, and presumably four different pilots and varying weather conditions, indicates either poor instruction or questionable piloting skills. Most recently, on our return flight from Rome, landing under slightly rainy but not terribly windy conditions, we landed hard with what felt like only one set of wheels and wildly swerved across the runway. On our approach to Rome, the pilot made a late, steep turn, throttling the left engine intensely, minutes before touchdown at Ciampino Airport in another very hard landing. On our first RyanAir flight to Dublin last year, another extremely hard landing, painfully slamming asses into seats. The return to Stansted wasn't much better. If you choose to fly RyanAir, either out of convenience or cost, be prepared for a bit of a thrill. I'm not the near-death thrill type, so I will continue to avoid RyanAir. read more

Cheap, but you end up getting delayed for six hours and the woman at the customer service desk cussed someone out. Very rude.
Me & James had an opportunity to fly twice on RyanAir. First from Edinburgh, Scotland to Dublin, Ireland and then from Dublin to London, Gatwick. The on-line booking process was easy and I found the flights be quite affordable. When we flew from Edinburgh to London however; the flight was delayed for 2 hours. Never once was an announcement made for any updates or apologies. I later learned from one of the Flight Attendants that the cause was Air Traffic Control when they left Amsterdam. So...they had all that time to advise passengers ahead of time...and didn't. As you may have read from other Yelp reviews that they want you to print your boarding pass ahead of time. When you get the email confirmation for your flight...they don't tell you that. read more
It's not a pleasant experience flying on airliners. However, Ryanair made me long for good ole Southwest, sort of like Southwest made me long for PSA. Cattle drive boarding, seat pitch that did not allow enough room for a book to be read, no drinks or snacks, unhelpful cabin crew. They use Boeing 737's just like Southwest, and even have a similar business plan, but my God, the interiors of the Ryanair planes were disgraceful. I'll pay a bit more for a different airline. read more

Wait, you're really going to bitch because your experience on Ryan Air wasn't luxurious? If they provided every service that the more expensive lines did, they would cost just as much. You clearly made the conscious decision to be a budget queen, and the old adage stands - "you get what you pay for." The fact that Ryan Air even offers the service that they do means better access to Europe and thousands of affordable trips that many people couldn't dream of. While there are so many clear money grabs by Ryan Air throughout every single part of the travel process, remember this: 1. You get only one carry on. That includes other bags from duty free. ANYTHING that you are carrying needs to consolidate to one bag. The penalty for breaking this rule is €60. 2. You must print out your boarding pass to and from or pay a fee. 3. You only get a 15kg limit on a checked bag, which does full up fast. 4. All food and beverage is paid only on the flight (just buy food in the terminal, problem solved). 5. If you arrive late you probably won't get the seat you want because all seats are first come- first served. Unless of course you paid to reserve a seat (completely unnecessary). Overall, I am always impressed. You should have very real expectations for what you are paying for with Ryan Air. read more
Job well done, RyanAir. We got a particularly great deal from Stansted to Palermo, Sicily and the flight was great. The bus from London to their hub at Stansted was easy enough, but it takes about 1.5 hrs to get there. That kind of sucks. It's definitely much easier to get to Heathrow and Gatwick I've found, but then again, fares from those airports to our destination were at least double.. There are a few downsides on board, like the fact that they walk the aisles selling lotto tickets and smokeless cigarettes. That's a bit low class. But hey, it's certainly not worth the extra money to fly one of the mainstream airlines in order to not see that. Also wanted to add that the staff was pretty good about honoring the priority boarding passengers. I've heard some stories about how everybody gets lumped in together, but they actually did a good job in separating us and getting us on board efficiently. read more
Ryan air is no longer the airline I remember 8 years ago. Back then they had both price point and customer service excellence. Today I find them in utter tatters. - none of their check in machines work.... NONE - heavily understaffed from the counters to the gates - their staff are super nice and try real hard but they always have poor and conflicting information. I was moved to 3 different lines by the staff only to be told I missed my flight because I was sent to the wrong line and I missed the cut off by 3 min (I waited one hour in various lines). Pay more money for a better airline! If you are stuck with this one. Prepare to wait in line... A lot! read more

I love a deal. I hate Ryan air. Their fees for soft drinks, carry-on bags, bag weight, bag checking, not checking in online with a printer, and even (not) refunding your taxes on a cancelled ticket...makes them not a deal. The fact that they treat you like they want your business only once is a dealbreaker. Never again. read more
Laughing. For the first time, Ryanair was dead on time leaving Belfast. Great service onboard for the very short flight. Still attempting to flog their Lottery tickets, I repeat attempting. We landed ten minutes early and this is where I was laughing. There wasn't a parking space available until another flight had left. But, a couple more stars for the airline for this flight. read more

I will never fly Ryanair again. I had a flight that was delayed and I wouldn't be able to make my Ryanair connection. I tried calling and the recording said I would be charged by the minute in addition to any other charges. It was a recording and I could not get a customer service agent. I tried changing my flight online and it wouldn't let me change and a message popped up to call customer service (which I did previously and there was no agents available). Then I tried online chatting on Ryanair's website and no agents were available as they only have customer service during specific hours. So I had to cancel my whole vacation. read more

Never again. RyanAir makes Southwest Airlines look like absolute genius. Boarding, efficiency, staff, friendliness, offerings, etc. Beat in every regard. I actually was quite astounded at how horrific this airline is. *Make sure if you are a non-EU citizen that you get your boarding pass stamped at the ticket counter before proceeding through security (at all airports) or you'll be screwed when you try to board the plane, will have to go all the way back out to the ticket desk, and will likely miss your flight. And have to rebook at a premium. This happened to my brother and cousin, and I suffered through a TWO HOUR line in Genoa (despite having NO checked baggage) just to fulfill the "have your boarding pass stamped by ticket agent" requirement. Maddening. Meh. I'd rather pay a bit more and not deal with the scam-like business model of flying with Ryanair. Seriously, it is NOT worth it. read more
If your comfortable being nickle and dimed to death, don't mind if you arrive a bit late now and then, and want to relive your old frat house days, Ryanair is the carrier for you! The few times I have flew no-frills Ryanair, I have received a sensational deal. Yes, you are only limited to one small carry-on luggage, including purse, so you have to pack creatively. And, I guess the limited food and drink options are smart since this year they plan to charge a euro to use the loo. Certainly, do not plaster yourself at the airport bar or you will definitely pay on board! In addition, the cost of their two star processed food and drinks typically exceed the cost of what I have paid for the flight. Unless, your a small starving child from Tanzania, I wouldn't even think of buying anything whatsoever. The only reason you should fly Ryanair is for the cheap seats, nothing more, nothing less. If you have hefty luggage or are always schlepping a pile of screaming hungry kids, this airline is NOT worth the heartache, outrageous bag handling fees, or beholding the cheesy flight attendant's outfits. read more

Worst airline i have ever used in my 55 years on this Earth. Had to switch my flight and they made it more difficult for no reason. Apparently only one of the 3 sluggish workers can change a flight at the customer service desk. What else do they even have to do? Airplane=smelly. Flight attendants=careless. Customer service=incompetent. Seats don't even recline. Would rather swim to my next destination than use this airline again read more
Ryanair is the airline that everyone loves to poke fun at (me included) and they make themselves an easy target....but I am surprising myself here with a high rating. I think they have seen the light and are actually improving some of the customer service aspects and now have assigned seating which reduces that chaos around boarding and silly queueing at the gate. I've flown a few times with Ryanair and most recently to Spain from Stansted. First off is the price and this is THE main point with Ryanair. It's CHEAP and it makes air travel so much more accessible for those who may not be able to afford normal airline prices. You can travel to lots of places in Europe on a low budget fairly easily. So, prepare yourself before you embark on a Ryanair trip and just think about the low cost and not to let the other frustrations get in the way. I went with this mindset and was actually pleasantly surprised. There are some rules OK. If you follow the RULES and OBEY, then the rest of the process will be easier. Most of it is done online. You pay for your bag online. My tip is to to make sure you have some buffer on weight (weigh your bag on the bathroom scales before leaving to check) and allow for some purchases you might make at your destination for the return trip. If there are two of you, try to take one bag. PRINT your boarding pass at home to avoid another fee. The only major negative I have is the check in area at Stansted. There is a large holding pen for 'bag drop' with queues that would normally take 10 minutes elsewhere but took 20 minutes with Ryanair, just to drop the bag off. No information signs showing where to queue for which flight, just a series of counters and lines. When we reached the front, the employee told us we were in the wrong area and should have checked in round the corner (no signs telling us that) but she put the luggage tags on and told us we wouldn't need to queue at the other check in. We went round the corner and a friendly Ryanair employee took us right the the front and checked our bags straight onto the belt. Done! With assigned seats, the boarding process was like any other airline. The flight left and arrived on time and I see that Ryanair has one of the best punctuality rates of any airline in Europe (BA, Lufthansa and others take note). So major points for that as well as the price. On board, it's as cheap as the ticket. Cheap yellow and blue decor and tacky food and drink options and tacky announcements for lottery tickets or something. But at least this is consistent across the board...but you know, as the other airlines have become more and more basic themselves, only the naff decor and menu on Ryanair are the main differences now. When it lands an even tackier jingle announces yet another on time arrival. And that menu is tacky. Pictures of the most unhealthy processed foods and snax you can get. But you can always bring your own stuff on board if you want organic fair trade chargrilled broccoli spears with shaved parmesan (won't find it here). The seat doesn't recline which is both a positive and negative and there isn't even a seat pocket (but at least that maximises the leg room). The plane seemed a bit noisier than usual but wherever you are heading it's going to be a relatively short endurance so you can bring those noise cancelling headphones. I note that the planes themselves are spanking new (despite the dated looking tacky paint job) and read that Ryanair has the youngest fleet of planes in Europe, all 737-800s (the ones you can cram the most people into). On board heading to Ibiza it's loud and excited, like a Friday night pub party atmosphere, not the neat, steely silence of a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. The crew just get on with it and don't fuss around too much. Fine by me. On return, we waited just one minute to check in at Ibiza. So easy. Return flight (Friday evening, normally an excuse for delays at other airlines) was right on time. We did have to wait 40 mins for our bags but I am blaming Stansted airport for this (not sure if that's the airline or airport operations responsibility). In Ibiza it was fast. Maybe I just set my expectations so low or maybe they have improved, or a combination of the two but it's a high rating from me mainly due to the low price, on time departure and arrival. I will be back. Just fix the holding pen check in at Stansted. read more
It's cheap, and at Stansted at least, you get to walk out to the plane and at least on this journey they were sensible enough to board the plane from both ends. The seat reclines were deactivated which I take as a bonus (I always seem to be the one sucker who doesn't want to recline and instead ends up with someone's hair in my lap as they lean the seat back a crazy distance. But there's some problems - for one, no seat pockets on the Stansted/Bucharest route. Sure it means they can turn the plane around faster but you take that stupid pocket for granted and you just don't know what to do with all your stuff that you're juggling (or even the in-flight magazine they hand you at the plane door). Also if you have an aisle seat, then be prepared to lose all feeling in an elbow, because the flight attendants never stop walking up and down the aisle trying to flog food, drinks, scratch cards (yes, scratch cards), or duty free. All with trolleys that seem to connect with your elbow when you least expect it. As Colleen said in her review, if you're non-EU then make sure you get your boarding pass stamped at the ticket counter. We didn't know the first time we flew RyanAir about this, but we were lucky that they let us board anyway. This time we had to queue - the Stansted queue wasn't bad, but the Bucharest queue took a good 45 minutes for a five second kerplunk of a stamp. The person didn't even check the passport, it's purely a tick box exercise that frankly isn't RyanAir's job - let the passport control on the other side worry about it. Still though, I rank them about Easyjet purely on their updated baggage policy which allows you to take handluggage plus a personal item, rather than those other cretins who demand you should the personal item into the handluggage despite there being a lovely space under the seat in front for it to be placed. RyanAir used to do this too, but saw sense - so I applaud them for that. read more

The worst airline I've taken and I've taken a lot. Like others, I tried to check in online and couldn't and had to pay 55euro per person at the airport or they wouldn't let us on the plane. "Cheap" flights are never cheap with this company. It's always something. Never again. read more
We all have heard the horrible things about Ryanair and Ryanair doesn't spring to mind when we talk about quality airlines. However I have to say that the one thing that is better than with Lufthansa&Co: They are always on time. If you arrive at your holiday destination it might not make a big difference if you arrive half an hour late, however when it is about business I need to be on time. Yes, there is hardly any service. But it is not that expensive to buy a bottle of water and a snack. So I'd definitely choose Ryanair when it comes to reliable flights. read more

Ryanair is probably the worst airline anyone will ever take. It's up there with Spirit Airlines. They make you pay for everything, like water. The first trip around we didn't even have a pilot. We were boarding the plane & we were waiting on our pilot to arrive? Punctuality is not in their vocabulary. They are always late. We were late simply because they did not board on time although the plane & all the workers were there. Also, their staff was for the most part extremely rude. But I was not surprised. It's just silly little things like that that give this airline a bad name. read more

Dear Ryan Air, Thank you for having that stupid additional "visa-check" for non-EU citizens. It was particularly helpful when getting that "visa check" stamp made me miss my flight (which your attendants said wouldn't happen). Thank you also for NOT helping me get another flight so that I wouldn't be stuck in Spain overnight and sending me to the Thomson kiosk where they were happy to help me get home on their next available flight (and tell me that they were used to stranded RyanAir passengers being sent to them) read more

RyanAir is a company that will learn anyone (even me) read general terms. Our friend, who was looking after our tickets, forgot to check us in and so we had to pay RyanAir CZK 5,200 for the four of us. The air ticket suddenly wasn´t so cheap, was it? On our way back from London a Czech air hostess talked to me in English, which I could never understand. I am 160 cm tall, but even I had little room for my legs - which may be expected if you travel with low-cost airlines ... I don´t know, thank God it isn´t the only low-cost airlines travelling to the British Isles. Já nevím, díky Bohu to není jediný low cost na ostrovy :( read more
GarbageAir. Sure, if you book 10 weeks and 3 days in advance you might be one out of 230 people that get the 1 euro fare. For the rest of us fools, we are paying the full fare, taking the 90 minute bus to some obscure airport all the while dealing with incompetent and rude staff. The seats don't recline, there's no magazine racks and the whole plane colored in ugly neon yellow plastic. And now the bastards are thinking of charging 1 Eruo for the loo and having us sit on saddle seats. WTF? Folks, this is devolution in progress and needs not be supported. What is the opposite of innovation? Crap-o-vation. Instead go with Richard Branson, he cares about you on Virgin. read more

I was a bit terrified at flying this airline based on all the recent negative news and travel blog posts. But I just couldn't resist paying $60 USD RT from London Stansted to Barcelona. My expectations were extremely low, which actually helped make the experience better in the end. I made sure to read everything they sent me and follow all instructions, including printing our boarding passes before we got to the airport. They sent me several emails outlining their baggage policy so there is really no excuse not to know them. I did think it was a bit scammy to encourage me to pay for a seat for me and my 2 kids or be assigned random seats during check in. Of course, we were all seated far away from each other on the plane. So I paid an additional $11/person to choose our seats on the return in order to be more comfortable. The seats and aisles are very tight and the planes resemble a cheaper version of Spirit. But I didn't care because of the price. And I'd never pay more than $100 to fly on these planes. For this trip, it was perfect. The planes left on time and the boarding/deboarding process was easy. read more
I dont know what to say here because as much as I dislike the service and the brand, I understand that it is this way for a reason. Let's discuss. The most budget out of all the budget airlines, Ryanair seems to strive on upselling, or as I noticed, "upselling via devious staff". I do wonder if the people who work here are on a commission based on extra sales that they force passsengers to take. Case in point: at check-in the lady didnt say a single thing about the fact that my wife had her normal cabin bag and a plastic bag of sandwiches, and I know that she saw it. Upon boarding: "you cant take that extra bag, you have to pay for it". Ask most people about their Ryanair experiences and a lot will have similar stories. However, it IS CHEAP! And thats why ppl will fly with them. But Im not sure if the added stress is worth it, from being afraid that someone will see that your bag is 3mm above the allowable size and make you pay €60 to check it in, or say, as one person I met on the plane, that the FONT of the boarding pass that you have to print out at home and then pay for the privilige (????) isnt the right size, and *try* (this particular woman wasnt having any of it) to make you pay for another. There was a case a few weeks ago of a surgeon whom was charged €180 to amend his flight and get home after his entire family was killed in a fire. Michael O'Leary issued an unprecented apology for that. I have given them 4 stars though because its a certain business model, which if you're comfortable with the stresses of flying with, means that you can get to places very cheaply. I, for one, prefer EasyJet. read more
A flight returning from budapest to stanstead. I am a little uncertain if it was a temporary measure, but ryan air basically put us in cages prior to the take off. This went on for an hr as the flight was delayed. No facilities to sit or go to the toilet. On top of that there were some frail people present and they did not take this into consideration. I would imagine that this company should still follow some human decency even when not in western Europe. I write this, as the gentleman sitting next to me was having some difficulty during this time. Although ryan air is an airline I am scared to say anything bad about. We were flying from Stansted to Dublin on Ryanair. Our group being two adults and three kids. Their own employees told us the wrong queue to be in so when we made it to the desk we were told to go to another desk and then come back to drop off our bags. Somehow we ended up paying for our checked bags twice and then went back to the desk to drop our bags like we had been told and she then informed us we had to take our bags to another desk because our bags won't make it on our flight if not. Mind you, we got to the airport 2 and 1/2 hours before our flight and the whole time we are dragging our kids around... To make a long story short our experience was a nightmare, a nightmare with kids and we barely made it on our flight! Paid big sums to fly with ryanair because nothing else was available. After rejecting endless offers while booking online, and of course paying for everything that I needed, they charged me £70 for not having my ticket printed out. Ryanair is probably the worst scam I have witnessed. I will avoid this company in the future, no matter what. One star out of five is too much! read more

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Ryanair. Due to a sudden and tragic loss in my family, I was unable to take my scheduled flights. My daughter's mother passed away on the morning of my departure, and naturally, my priorities shifted to being with my daughter during this devastating time. I reached out to Ryanair's customer service, explaining the situation. What I received in response was nothing short of shocking. Instead of a compassionate reply, I was sent a generic, impersonal message that made no acknowledgment of the tragic circumstances I was dealing with. It felt as though I was brushed aside, with links to various automated forms and standard procedures that didn't even remotely address my situation. What was even more disheartening was the follow-up response after I expressed my disappointment. Rather than offering any meaningful assistance or showing even the slightest empathy, Ryanair simply reiterated their generic advice and, to my utter disbelief, closed my case without any resolution. It was a stark reminder of how some companies prioritise process over people. I understand that airlines handle a high volume of inquiries, but situations involving personal loss should be met with sensitivity and care. Unfortunately, Ryanair's response was cold, dismissive, and entirely inadequate, leaving me extremely disappointed and frustrated during an already difficult time. If you're considering booking with Ryanair, I strongly urge you to think twice. My experience has shown me that in times of need, you might not receive the support or understanding you'd expect from a company that claims to care about its customers. read more

Dear Airlines, Parents, and Teachers, Throughout the year, we all work hard and experience the hustle and bustle of school life. Thanks to half-term breaks, families--parents, teachers, and kids--get the wonderful opportunity to travel and discover other parts of the world. Unfortunately, current scheduling challenges during half-term make it difficult for many to plan trips. As a parent, I understand that some families travel regardless of high prices, but it's disheartening to see others who cannot afford to do so. Many parents feel compelled to leave the country at any cost to provide enriching experiences for their kids, but they often face financial discomfort afterwards. It's time for parents, teachers, and kids to come together in a campaign urging airlines to find affordable solutions for family travel during half-term breaks. This message aims to spread awareness and call for action so that we can all travel more often with our little ones, who are full of life and curiosity. Sincerely, Sam read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. DO NOT FLY RYANAIR!!!!! Save yourself the nightmare i am in. I showed up at the airport, went through security, had to wait until 30 min before the flight for them to finally display the gate #, wait in the security line at the gate then 10 minutes before the flight leaves i was told i need a little tiny visa stamp at the front desk back at the beginning. I didn't go to the desk because Ryanair charges $50 to print your boarding pass for you and they charge $100 to check a bag. So like a fool i printed my boarding pass at the hotel and found no need to go to baggage check. They setup the perfect scam. Now i have to wait 8 hours for the next flight and had to pay $300!!! read more

Ryanair offers budget-friendly flights across Europe, making it a popular choice for travelers on a tight budget. The airline's low-cost model comes with trade-offs like limited legroom, extra fees for luggage, and no free in-flight meals. However, the flights are often punctual, and with the right planning, travelers can score excellent deals. Customer service experiences are mixed, with some praising the efficiency, while others report issues with delays or refunds. For inquiries or booking assistance, contact Ryanair's customer service at +1 (808) 751-2262 or +44 (20) 39003009. Ideal for budget-conscious travelers seeking affordable travel options. read more

THE WORST COMPANY ON EARTH. This airline is not SECURE. They charge for everything. My son was traveling from the USA to Europe. He needed to Fly from Charleroi (Belgium) to Barcelona. He had no access to printer and he was charged 70 Euros because he did not print his ticket online!. This should be illegal (they do not have anything for you to print your ticket !!!!!!!!!!) Unbelievable, this behavior is a typical for this "airline". The STEAL from you whatever they can ..think about the SECURITY !. Save your trip and life, stay away from this cheap, crooks and insecure "airline". read more

Very poor customer service, the staff was pretty nice but they didn't seem very knowledgable. We ended up missing our flight even though we were there an hour and forty-five minutes early partially because the fire alarm was pulled which obviously isn't their fault but once things were settled we got bumped around to every single desk and ended up waiting in several lines just to be told we never had to wait in the first place. Definitely won't be using them again. read more

I was on the flight to London when a fat, racist white man loudly objected to being seated next to an elderly black woman and the airline let him stay in his seat after making her so frightened SHE changed seats. He got away with it. Astonishing. Horrible, disgusting way to handle the situation. He should have been removed from the plane. I'll never fly Ryanair again. read more

Ryanair failed to contract ground service for our flight from Berlin to Stansted, keeping us on the plane for an additional 35 minutes, plus took 1 1/2 hours to get our luggage and causing us to miss our connection! When we approached "Customer Service'" they charged us an additional $135 to get us on another flight. Not worth saving a few bucks! read more

Ryanair is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They get terrible public ratings year after year, and for good reason. You may lose money with Ryanair since they are known for hidden fees and dodgy practices. I do not know why Ireland does not regulate them more. Find another airline ASAP. I beg you to avoid this airline. read more
