Ryan Shaw is truly an exceptional realtor. We had to sell our home during a cross-country relocation--a process that could easily have been overwhelming--but Ryan made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our transaction was far from straightforward, yet Ryan navigated every turn with complete confidence and ease. From advising us on staging to handling all the details on the ground through closing, he took care of everything while we were thousands of miles away. Knowing Ryan had total control and wouldn't drop a single ball gave us complete peace of mind. Having someone so capable, reliable, and comforting in our corner was priceless. I couldn't recommend Ryan highly enough to anyone buying or selling! read more

Ryan stands out as one of the best real estate agents I've ever worked with. He was straightforward, does not sugarcoat, and incredibly informative from start to finish. He has solid neighborhood and area knowledge and provided market data. He is prompt and follow up and communication was always quick and clear, which made the whole process much smoother. The photographer he brought in did an excellent job -- the listing photos looked fantastic. Ryan handled every detail professionally and made the transaction feel completely seamless. Ryan is reliable, responsive, and truly goes above and beyond for his clients. I highly recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home. Five stars! read more

We had decided to move out of our home of 44 years and find a new place. A big decision for us and a seemingly daunting task. We had heard great things about Ryan, and from our initial meeting all the way through handing us the keys to our new home, all those accolades proved to be true. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable about every part of the selling and buying process, but more importantly, he took the time to explain the process, answered all our endless questions, and was always calm and reassuringly available. His list of contractors, stagers, and movers made the process even more seamless. Ryan is a fantastic real estate agent, but, most importantly, a great guy. We highly recommend him!! read more

Selling our rental in Parkside Village while living out of state could've been a headache, but Ryan Shaw made the entire process surprisingly smooth. The home had just been vacated, the market was cooling off for the fall, and we were preparing everything remotely - not exactly ideal conditions. But Ryan's transparency and attention to detail took the stress out of it. He walked us through repairs and touch-ups from a distance, kept communication clear, and didn't sugarcoat anything. What stood out most was that he didn't chase the easy sale. While other agents pushed for a lower list price just to move it quickly, Ryan made a solid case for listing higher because he believed the home deserved it - and he backed that up with market data and strategy. We hit the market prepared, got an offer within two weeks, and closed at ~99% of list. Given the timing and the remote logistics, that was a huge win. If you want an agent who's genuinely in your corner and willing to put in the work for a fair outcome, Ryan is the guy. read more

The Ryan Shaw Group is friendly and professional and I would absolutely work with them again.

As a first time buyer, Ryan was the best with making the whole experience smooth and honestly enjoyable. From just answering our random questions, to detailed explanation on various steps in the process, we definitely felt well taken care of and always aware and comfortable with the progress til and after closing. We are excited to get settled into our new home and would absolutely use Ryan for any future transactions. Also he's just a solid good guy you can trust. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Ryan twice--first when buying my first home over 10 years ago and again recently for an investment property. In both experiences, he guided me with incredible patience and expertise, making the process seamless. He truly goes above and beyond, ensuring his clients feel confident every step of the way. I can't recommend him enough! read more

As out-of-state buyers, we needed more than a typical agent for our home shopping process. Not only did we want to see houses and understand the market, we also needed to learn neighborhoods, identify school options, and imagine our future life in California. Ryan went above and beyond our expectations and spent nearly a full week with us, showing us around the entire South Bay, getting us familiar with the surroundings and giving honest feedback on every home we visited. His well-informed guidance helped us find a house and make an offer by the end of our visit. Not only that, but Ryan's professional relationships kept the escrow and purchase process smooth and trouble-free. Lastly, we weren't only grateful for Ryan's professionalism, but his genuine kindness and willingness to help made the entire experience a pleasure. We now consider him a friend, which gives us an additional reason to look forward to moving to the area. read more

Must start with a disclaimer... I have known Ryan since we were 11. I recognize that might make me biased. However, I also lost contact with him for over 30 years, so I feel I am neutral. My family had the pleasure of working with Ryan in both the selling of our condo, and buying of our new home. Ryan guided us through the process of prepping our condo, staging, taking photos, timing the listing and the offer/acceptance process. With Ryan's hardwork and guidance we recieved over a dozen offers and sold our condo in record time, we could not of dreamed of a better outcome. Thanks to Ryan we were able to use the proceeds from the sale to buy our dream home, which Ryan ensured went smootly. As Ryan has found my families "forever home" I am unsure if I will work with him again. But I have and will continue to recommend him without hesitation. Go with Ryan, he is worth it! read more

Ryan was wonderful to work with. He was professional and thorough and kept the process moving. Ryan was amazing to work with. My husband and I are first time home buyers and Ryan answered every question, every call and every concern. He took time to understand what was important both to my husband and I and provided honest feedback when we needed it. Beyond his level of professionalism, he is funny and goes the extra lengths to help ease any moments of frustration throughout the process (because there will always be one). There are an abundance of people to work with during the home buying process, but if you want someone who listens, who is respected by others and provides wonderful guidance, Ryan is your guy! read more

Ryan Shaw was the real estate agent that helped us sell our house. The price we got for our home was well above what we asked for. That Ryan was raised in our neighborhood was a definite plus in that it gave him intimate knowledge of the market in our area. And his clear pricing strategy certainly worked for us. Right from the beginning Ryan was helpful and available. He got us in touch with the right people for the last minute touch ups and staging that we know added significantly to our home's appeal. And his attitude all the way through was up beat and confident. His competence from long years of experience in the real estate business clearly paid off for us. Thanks Ryan! Ryan and his team did a great job guiding us through our first home sale. He answered all of our questions and even answered questions we didn't know we had. He was able to get us an off market offer that was higher than any previous sale in our community. The staging made our house look like it was out of a magazine. Our friends and family didn't even recognize the house after it was staged. I'm sure it added tens of thousands more dollars to the offer than if we didn't stage it. The transaction was so easy and stress free. We'd highly recommend Ryan for any real estate need! read more

I met Ryan while he was taking a client to an open house that I was also looking at. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. As I was leaving, I happened to be in the elevator with him and got his business card. When I saw a house I wanted, I immediately contacted Ryan to assist in the offer process. I knew this was going to be a multiple offer situation, so this was going to be challenging. Aside from his knowledge of the market, Ryan's strength is his ability to communicate with the seller's agent to determine what will it take to make the deal. This was extremely helpful when we went through a 2nd round of offers to consummate the deal. Ryan also provided recommendations of lenders which ended up saving me $$$. His follow up and communications skills are top notch, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate professional. read more

If you want someone in your corner, Ryan's the guy! My husband and I met Ryan during an open house and since we were first time home buyers, we scheduled an appointment to get introduced to the home buying experience. He was thorough and gave us a lot of good material to review. So much paperwork! One thing he said upfront was that we need to be patient through the process and we were so glad we did. Ryan was honest about his thoughts on the homes we saw. He knew that I really really wanted a single family home so when we missed out on a home we LOVED and started negotiating on a townhouse we liked, he reminded us of what was important to us. Then he did his magic...with a little luck, the deal on the home we loved fell through and he swooped in and made it happen! We are finally homeowners! Ryan, we can't thank you enough for helping us. Especially when we were expecting our baby and things felt rushed and hectic but you answered all our questions and continued to support us throughout the process. read more

Ryan is the best! This is our 3rd real estate transaction with him and he continues to impress us! Ryan is highly experienced and super professional, he sold our place at asking while setting a new neighborhood comp - all before listing on the MLS as he leveraged his brokerage's internal exclusive listing. Ryan kept us informed every step of the way so the transaction was very smooth as it always is with him. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for an amazing real estate agent in the greater LA area!!! read more

Ryan was exactly what we needed when it came to selling our first home. As first time homeowners, we wanted someone who was knowledgeable and someone who would look out for us. We were blown away with his negotiation skills and he was spot on about how much our home would sell for. I remember laughing thinking we will never get that amount. But we were so wrong. He did that and more! He was always professional and always put 100% into it. We were on a short timeline and he got our home off the market in less then ONE week!! Highly recommend him! If the military takes us back to California, we will be using Ryan again!! read more

My husband and I are so glad we ran into Ryan at an open house. We were first time home buyers and he helped us find the perfect house in the exact neighborhood we wanted even with those houses being few and far between. He is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with, friendly, quick to respond, on top of everything, and seems to really enjoy his job and helping you out... the list goes on and on. I highly recommend Ryan and I know we will work with him again years down the road when we are ready for another home. read more

My wife and I are currently working with Ryan to sell one property and purchase another one. We had another property that needed to be leased out and Ryan stepped up and took on the task without hesitation. Ryan is extremely easy to work with -- he is quick, efficient, and flexible. He is very professional and presentable, and he is always available to answer our questions and help us out. When we initially asked Ryan to help us lease our unit in Downtown LA, he immediately reached out his contacts and put us in touch with prospective tenants. Finding the right tenant can be a very stressful process, but Ryan not only found us a tenant quickly, he carefully managed the entire process to our complete satisfaction. My wife and I are very thankful to Ryan and look forward to our continuing real estate efforts with him. read more

Ryan helped us buy our dream house in a tough seller's market. As a tech family relocating from the Seattle area, we are type A, do things by the book, and have many questions. He impressed us with his hometown understanding of neighborhoods, traffic patterns, schools, and resale value knowledge. He's also super funny and kept our spirits up throughout the whole process. We are SO thankful we had Ryan in our corner from start to end. When we reached out to Ryan, we had a wide geographical range--we knew we would be relocating back to Los Angeles but had not yet narrowed the location thing down. He was patient and educated us on the various neighborhoods--strengths, quirks, and challenges of the neighborhood of each house we visited. Most importantly, Ryan took the time to learn what was important to us as a family, beyond square footage and superficial features. As a result, he could confidently make recommendations based on his vast experience and his knowledge of our needs. He was not afraid to say when a house didn't seem like a good value or a good fit for our family. However, ultimately it was our decision, and Ryan never pressured us one way or the other. His business and negotiation acumen was first rate! His mortgage contact was excellent. He helped us write competitive offers and his advice was always spot on. When putting in offers, Ryan was good at getting the price right and suggested the right conditions, too. Because of the red hot seller's market with very low inventory, when we didn't get a house they were all due to other factors (e.g. no limit offer, unlimited rent-back with an unspecified closing date, etc.). While it was frustrating to miss out initially, Ryan helped us to be patient and not panic, even when it seemed that no suitable houses were coming on the market for a while. When we had an offer accepted on our dream house, there were several highly stressful road blocks in the process. Ryan was relentless in clearing everything up and giving us great advice throughout. He also had great relationships with inspectors and contractors and helped us get to and through closing with care and support. We give our highest recommendation of Ryan and his team. read more

After the successful sale of our home with Ryan Shaw in 2017, we knew he was our guy when it was time to purchase in 2021. Despite being nearly 20 miles from the location we were seeking, Ryan enthusiastically came to every showing with us. Home searching during a pandemic with two young children is no easy feat, but Ryan guided us through the entire process (and even entertained our kids)! The market at the time was what some would describe as a "bloodbath." Despite low inventory and high demand, we landed a place to call home painlessly in less than two months. Ryan is an honest, patient, hardworking, reliable straight shooter who goes above and beyond for your family's best interests. read more

Ryan helped us with the purchase of a new fabulous home. We were in a time crunch due to the sale of our old home and were hoping to find not just anything, but a great buy during a time when inventory was low. Ryan kept us apprised of new listings and got us in to see prospective homes quickly. I really appreciated that he was so organized during our tours by providing maps, schedules, etc., which helped make the process more smooth. I also appreciated the guidance he provided about certain houses and potential issues to consider when we'd ask for his opinion (which he was able to give based on his years of experience in real estate). Ryan wasn't pushy and didn't encourage us to just put offers in on everything. He was in tune with our style, needs, and wants and genuinely wanted to ensure we were happy with our purchase. When it came time to negotiate, he'd give us his thoughts but made sure that we ultimately made the decision for how to proceed. He always sought to make sure we wouldn't be screwed or placed in a predicament that would have costly ramifications. In the end, everything worked out thanks to his listening to his clients' needs/wants, trying to fulfill those needs/wants, and overall, being a great advocate. read more

Not only is Ryan extremely honest, but he is also highly knowledgeable. As a first time home buyer, the process can be intimidating. Ryan made it simple. I felt entirely comfortable placing my trust in him, and his suggestions. I never felt pressured. I have already recommended him to others, and would do so again, with complete confidence. As a Family Law attorney in the Los Angeles area, I often work with real estate agents. Always accommodating, professional and patient, Ryan is, by far, the best I have encountered. read more

We met Ryan when he sold our neighbors house and he was very easy to talk to and we really enjoyed his candor and felt that he held a tremendous amount of knowledge in real estate in Southern California. Where do I begin reviewing Ryan? FIVE STARS. I can't imagine a more knowledgeable, professional, and responsive agent. Ryan represented my elderly parents in the sale of their un-remodeled Hollywood Riviera home of 55 years. (He was referred by my parents' financial planner.) He handled everything from start to finish, as my parents had moved out of the area and one had become seriously ill. Bottom line, Ryan fully understood my parents' particular situation and then negotiated and went to the mat for them. He has a busy roster, yet I always felt we were No. 1. We could not be happier with the outcome, which was well over asking price. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. read more

I recently used Ryan Shaw and Teles Properties to sell my home in the South Bay and I was blown away by the absolute tremendous level of service and marketing I received. I firmly believe no other agent could have gotten me top dollar the way that he did. A+ experience. read more

We met Ryan Shaw from Teles Properties when he came knocking on our door in South Redondo. It was fortuitous because at the time we were preparing to move to another home we owned in Idaho. We chatted at the door for a few minutes, and were impressed with his professionalism, but didn't give it much thought as many realtors come to our door. What really caught our attention was 2 days later when a thank you note showed up in the mail and we were immediately impressed and knew he had good follow up. We had a challenging floor plan that wasn't right for most buyers, however Ryan guided us through a smooth process and our home was sold in only 25 days...beating the average for the area (52 days) by a large margin. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ryan Shaw to anyone. read more

Ryan was very thorough and professional in helping me identify, purchase and rent a second home. Ryan methodically supported me during the hunt. He provided ample research and accompanied me through a variety of tours that eventually led to identifying the type of property and the location. He creatively engineered a search to find a homeowner in the complex who was interested in selling. Thereafter we had several choices and Ryan helped me navigate through the options. Once we put an offer on the property, Ryan supported me through the entire escrow process and also began searching for a tenant. Prior to closing the property, we had potential tenants. The tenant moved in 2 weeks after close. The entire process was seamless and I am grateful for Ryan's ongoing support. read more
