After being told by Kristy that you were offering me the position--and being encouraged to "be ready to negotiate" because she knew you were going to offer me the lowest wage on your pay scale--I was surprised and confused when the moment I began discussing compensation, the offer was withdrawn. At no point during either of my interviews did you speak to me about pay, so to claim that it had already been discussed to your hiring manager was inaccurate. And your hiring managers don't have the authority to decide pay? Ha. I rearranged my day, pushed through physical pain, and showed up on very short notice--twice--to demonstrate my interest and professionalism. I was respectful, flexible, and prepared, even though you weren't. To be told I was hired and going over details to start in 3 days, only to have the offer revoked within minutes of a basic compensation conversation, speaks volumes--not just about how candidates are treated, but possibly why you're struggling to retain staff, as was repeatedly mentioned. You also left it wishy-washy on a Friday afternoon, leaving me to wonder the whole weekend if I'm still hired or not, only for you and Kristy to never respond. "People just don't want to work these days." Am I right? As someone with a decade of experience, I know my value--and I also know when I've been treated unfairly. I hope you take this as an opportunity to reflect on how you handle hiring moving forward, although after several disrespectful and unprofessional interactions with you, my hopes aren't high. P.S. Take a look at questions that are legal/illegal to ask during an interview. So glad I rushed in for a second interview, for you to grill me about my personal life, in my leggings and sweater just for you to say to your hiring staff, "I want to see what she looks like when she's not all done up." In your own words regarding your employees, I didn't even have high expectations of you, and you didn't even meet those.

Surgeries are scheduled only to find out that they have not been approved by the patients insurance. Lack of communication and a feeling of being rushed through the office. The staff is too busy to return phone calls or notify patients of changes in surgery scheduling. The physician assigned to do your surgery should be available to talk and meet with the patient prior to surgery. My suggestion is to get a second opinion if your experience isn't a positive one. Remember, you are the one paying the bill.

We asked lots of questions and were always received as if we were being difficult would receive very arrogant reply's as if we were questioning the Drs. ability. We wrote this off as normal surgeon pride. We should have listened to the little voices that were questioning the DR. After the surgery we went to the office to have the plugs removed and noticed the suction system they use after removing the plugs was covered in mold and looked as it had not been cleaned or emptied in a long time (disgusting). My husband was in intense pain, and the recovery was very extensive. Once healed we discovered he had zero taste or smell. He could drink a cup of gas and not know it. After seeing a different ENT we were told he now has a condition called Empty Nose syndrome which was caused by Dr Robertson taking too much of his turbine. Whatever you do DO NOT GO TO THIS ENT OFFICE!!!

I had to call my referrals department three or four times as well to get them to resend the referral. And instead of calling me to let me know exactly what I needed to get scheduled, I had to call and find out. These people are awful. On top of all the hassle, the front desk lady was exceptionally rude and had the nastiest attitude which I gave right back. If their scheduling team is any measure of their actual healthcare team it might be dangerous for me to actually make an appointment.

Clearly he hadn't read the notes that were sent to him by my referring primary care doctor and clearly he hadn't read the questions and answers notes taken by his assistant. He was abrupt and has no bedside manner. I was referred to him because a recent brain scan indicated a possible fungal infection in my right ethmoid and my tongue was numb and I have no taste. He didn't address my tongue issues even though his office knew about it. Now I have to find another ENT specialist to address my issues. I will never return to his office again and certainly won't recommend Willamette ENT in Salem Oregon.

I went to see Dr. Thompson because I could not breathe through my nose. I have been dealing with…read morethis problem for so many years. I was so tired of not sleeping at night and not being able to take a full breath. I knew the blockage was in my nose area. Day one, Dr. Thompson told me I had a deviated septum and the turbinates in both my nostrils were so swollen my airway was almost completely blocked. He recommended medication I could take for the rest of my life or a surgery that would fix the problem and he could do the surgery in his surgery center, in the same building. I was desperate and went for surgery. Surgery day- Dr. Thompson looked in my nose, said yep, both sides are almost completely shut. He then took me into surgery to fix my deviated septum and repair both turbinates. So I thought. All seemed good through the whole process. He had a beautiful office and surgery center. The staff wasn't very nice though. He put packing in my nose after surgery and I went home. Third day after surgery I started having pain and pressure in both my ears. I contacted his office and they ordered antibiotics for me. Post op, He removed the packing and said the ear thing was common after this procedure and it should go away. That's also when I found out he only fixed one of my turbinates. I asked why did he not do the other side? He said it didn't need it and if I wanted to do it later I could always come back. I was blown away! Come back?? 2nd post op visit, I'm still having pain in my ears and unable to breathe through my right nostril where he decided I didn't need the turbinate fixed. He pulled out of his top drawer a tiny straw looking thing, and said he could put these tubes in my ears if my ears continued to be a problem . He was serious! No special testing, no other forms of treatment, just more surgery. Does he not realize surgery is risky, can leave lifelong side affects and is PAINFUL! About the 5th post op visit I'm still having ear pain and still can't breathe out of that nostril. He then tells me that there is no way that the ear problem could be because of this surgery. That he's never had this problem with any of his patients ever. He denied it over and over. Even though in previous visits he said this was common! I was scared to death of this man. All he wanted to do was more and more surgery. IN HIS PERSONALLY OWNED OPERATING ROOM. Then he suggested doing a hearing test because my ear problems could have been there for a long time. I've never had problems with my ears, I don't even get ear infections when I'm sick. I went to my natural doctor, she said my eustacian tubes were extremely enlarged. She put a glove on and reaches way back in my throat(it was difficult to not gag) and drained my eustacian tubes. For 2 days after that it drained. Then the pressure and pain got better. My ears are still not 100% but they are much better. As far as Dr. Thompson is concerned, I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He's got a real business going on there and it's not to help people. It's to put money in his pocket doing as many surgeries as possible.
