I've been represented by John in a long, high-conflict custody battle, and I can say without hesitation that having him as my attorney changed the entire course of my case -- and my daughter's life. From the beginning, John demonstrated unmatched patience and professionalism. My case involved repeated violations of the parenting plan, medical neglect, travel disputes, safety concerns, and emotionally draining communication patterns from the other parent. Through all of it, John remained clear-headed, responsive, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to understand the full picture -- reading through timelines, messages, medical records, and incident reports -- and he never made me feel like I was alone. What sets John apart is how grounded and strategic he is in court. Despite aggressive tactics and misinformation from the opposing side, he stayed focused on the facts and the law. He doesn't play games -- he builds a case methodically and ethically, and the judge saw that. He never made false promises, and he didn't have to: his work speaks for itself. When it came time to challenge a GAL report full of inaccuracies and bias, John didn't back down. He brought in expert witnesses, therapist input, and hard evidence that ultimately led the judge to reject the GAL's recommendations and rule in favor of protecting my child's best interests. That alone speaks volumes. Throughout this process, I've leaned on John not only as an attorney but as a guide through some of the most overwhelming moments of my life. He treated my case like it mattered, and it did -- because it was about my daughter. He always remembered that. If you're looking for someone who's experienced, no-nonsense, child-focused, and genuinely invested in doing what's right -- John Groseclose is that attorney. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

If are in legal trouble, I BEG you to stop worrying and searching, and contact Glisson & Morris…read more This is a REAL review, and Glisson & Morris reviews are not oddly similiar, like other lawyers, such as the similiar use of punctuation in their reviews. I spoke to so many lawyers trying to find someone I could trust, and was reasonably priced. Many other lawyers tried to scare me into hiring them, gave bad advice, or discussed money very early on. Once I talked to Stan, I immediately noticed his knowledge was FAR superior, and his calm honesty was reassuring. He knew the time and day of my court date before I told him. He was already talking about reviewing police body cams on the first phone call! Stan is a former Deputy Prosecutor, and has even served as a temporary District Court Judge! Trust me, your getting alot of lawyer for your money and it's well worth it. He always kept me very informed and calm during my case, no matter how much I contacted him. The outcome of my case was amazingly good and beyond my expectation, and I can't thank Glisson and Morris enough. I told him I would leave a review as a thank you, but I honestly can't express in words how appreciative and glad I am that I hired him. Thank you so much Stan and God Bless You. I paid a $10,000 retainer to begin working with the firm. During the first couple of weeks, they repeatedly misspelled my name and there seemed to be confusion internally about who was responsible for different parts of my case. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic things moving. Communication throughout the process was frustrating. Different members of the team appeared to have different understandings of what was happening in my case, and I often felt like I had to repeat information several times. I kept extremely organized documentation and provided everything they asked for, but progress still felt slow and disorganized. Another issue was how communication was handled from a billing standpoint. Many emails came back filled with legal jargon that was difficult to understand, which meant I had to reply asking for clarification. Each of those back-and-forth responses was billed time. When we eventually went to court, I was disappointed with how the hearing went and how unprepared my attorney appeared. Afterward I was told the outcome wasn't what they expected. That particular process alone cost around $6,000. By the time everything was finished, about $20,000 had been billed and my situation was actually worse than when I started. My advice to anyone considering this firm would be to ask very detailed questions about communication, preparation, and expected costs before signing a retainer.

Mr. Savage was able to quickly pick up my case when my former firm/attorney retired from family law. He acted with urgency, making time to review all previous materials and correspondences, to meet with me to understand my goals, and clearly communicated next steps and timeline. It is clear to me that Mr. Savage is very comfortable and knowledgeable when it comes to family law. He was able to catch small things that my previous attorney missed or actions the former firm had taken that were no longer the standard. This keen eye for detail made all the difference in my case and we were able to get a parenting plan in place, despite a lack of cooperation from the respondent, during our first hearing. Mr. Savage was incredibly responsive and even caught an after-hours declaration the respondent emailed hours before the hearing. He notified me right away and advised me of the next probable steps, eliminating concerns I had over the last-minute response. I was also impressed with Mr. Savage's integrity; for example he informed the commissioner of the respondent's declaration despite its untimely arrival and the respondent failing to appear at the hearing. My overall experience was 5 gold stars! Huge thank you to Mr. Savage and team.
