If you need an attorney, get one that already appeared to have the respect of the court. He was able to get exactly what we had discussed and more in his office prior to going before the judge. John Groseclose is a rare kind of attorney -- deeply ethical, sharply strategic, and relentlessly…read morededicated to doing what's right. I've been represented by John in a long, high-conflict custody battle, and I can say without hesitation that having him as my attorney changed the entire course of my case -- and my daughter's life. From the beginning, John demonstrated unmatched patience and professionalism. My case involved repeated violations of the parenting plan, medical neglect, travel disputes, safety concerns, and emotionally draining communication patterns from the other parent. Through all of it, John remained clear-headed, responsive, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to understand the full picture -- reading through timelines, messages, medical records, and incident reports -- and he never made me feel like I was alone. What sets John apart is how grounded and strategic he is in court. Despite aggressive tactics and misinformation from the opposing side, he stayed focused on the facts and the law. He doesn't play games -- he builds a case methodically and ethically, and the judge saw that. He never made false promises, and he didn't have to: his work speaks for itself. When it came time to challenge a GAL report full of inaccuracies and bias, John didn't back down. He brought in expert witnesses, therapist input, and hard evidence that ultimately led the judge to reject the GAL's recommendations and rule in favor of protecting my child's best interests. That alone speaks volumes. Throughout this process, I've leaned on John not only as an attorney but as a guide through some of the most overwhelming moments of my life. He treated my case like it mattered, and it did -- because it was about my daughter. He always remembered that. If you're looking for someone who's experienced, no-nonsense, child-focused, and genuinely invested in doing what's right -- John Groseclose is that attorney. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

If are in legal trouble, I BEG you to stop worrying and searching, and contact Glisson & Morris…read more This is a REAL review, and Glisson & Morris reviews are not oddly similiar, like other lawyers, such as the similiar use of punctuation in their reviews. I spoke to so many lawyers trying to find someone I could trust, and was reasonably priced. Many other lawyers tried to scare me into hiring them, gave bad advice, or discussed money very early on. Once I talked to Stan, I immediately noticed his knowledge was FAR superior, and his calm honesty was reassuring. He knew the time and day of my court date before I told him. He was already talking about reviewing police body cams on the first phone call! Stan is a former Deputy Prosecutor, and has even served as a temporary District Court Judge! Trust me, your getting alot of lawyer for your money and it's well worth it. He always kept me very informed and calm during my case, no matter how much I contacted him. The outcome of my case was amazingly good and beyond my expectation, and I can't thank Glisson and Morris enough. I told him I would leave a review as a thank you, but I honestly can't express in words how appreciative and glad I am that I hired him. Thank you so much Stan and God Bless You. I consulted Nidal Dirini at Helsell Fetterman for a WLAD discrimination case against a state…read moreagency. While the firm did waive the consultation fee after I explained my financial situation, I had concerns about the contingency agreement and the process overall: Fee Structure: The contract required me to pay 33-45% of the total recovery, including any court-awarded attorney fees. At the time, I didn't realize that under WLAD, defendants are supposed to pay attorney fees separately from damages. After my consultation, I did my own research and learned this is known as "double-dipping," which can significantly reduce a client's net recovery. Case Valuation: During our conversation, Nidal told me he did not see my claim reaching six figures. He seemed to undervalue the potential of my case, which prompted me to do more research on my own. Later, I discovered published cases like Snell v. DSHS, where plaintiffs in similar or even weaker positions received much larger verdicts. Contract Terms: I found the firm was not flexible on contract terms related to medical liens, termination penalties, or interest rates-terms I now know are important for client protection. Second Opinion: Weeks/months later after our discussion, I requested to speak with another attorney at the firm who specialized in employment law. I did not receive a response, which left me feeling unsupported. For anyone considering this firm: Make sure you understand how court-awarded attorney fees will be handled in your case. Do your own research on case values and contract terms. Be aware that you may not get a second opinion if you disagree with the initial assessment. I only give 1-star or 5-star reviews-pass or fail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm for WLAD discrimination cases.
