They need to inspect equipment before the house is turned over. Heat pump issue since I moved in.

So many contractors fail to follow up. It was refreshing working with them my experience was five stars. They even mounted a sink to plywood while our Quartz counters were being cut, just so we could still use our kitchen during the two week renovation. Thanks for going above and beyond.

Our nightmare with Paul Davis started about 4 months ago or so. We had a persistent shower leak…read morethat we had numerous plumbers come out for to try and solve. Nobody could figure out why our shower was leaking. So we contacted Paul Davis and set something up with homeowners insurance. To start, things seemed OK. The manager for our project was communicative about the beginning of our project. He had us come in and select tiles and other pieces for our bathroom. Unfortunately, we needed to completely redo our bathroom and get a new shower installed to fix the problem. He was nice about selecting materials. However, afterwards, that is when things started going down hill. We had the following problems with Paul Davis and contracts going forward (unfortunately I am going to have to summarize because I was going into great detail and the review platform is cutting me off, so I am going to try and keep this as short as possible even though I could write a whole novel at this point): - Contractors hired by Paul Davis EXTREMELY unprofessional: show up half hour, hour, and an hour and a half late each time. They talk on the phone loudly constantly instead of focusing on work. They find excuses to leave and not do as much work as they could. For example, three showed up on 7/29/2026 to "drywall" for holes that we had in the ceiling from a leak. They worked for two hours. I am no dry wall expert, but they didn't put any mudding over the dry wall, there were nails exposed in the ceiling. They told me they would be back at 4pm. They never returned at 4pm. We got tired of waiting and told the office lady to not have them come back today, but to return the next day with their manager -7/30/2026 A random guy shows up before 7am to just drop off supplies (this was not communicated; we were told work starts at 8am). This guy leaves. A new worker shows up at 8. Doesn't introduce himself, just walks in the house and starts working. I can't complain about him though because he actually worked. But then I realized he was a place holder for the normal ones that usually come who cannot show up on time. They all showed up after 9am. The main one I usually dealt with did a bit of work upstairs (he put half the trimming around the base of my bathroom wall). Then he declared he must leave to get fans because the drywall downstairs wont be dry for painting and they wanted to get that done the same day. Well he leaves and an hour later has not returned. The manager showed up finally. We are in long discussion about all the failures of the project. Two hours later, the contractor still hasnt returned with these "Fans." When he finally does roll up, he has no fans and no explanation to the manager for where he was at. -The manager: Never communicates with us about the project. We have to make the effort to keep calling and harassing about having people come out to do the project. He blamed my husband saying that after the bathroom was done, my husband told them not to come back for a while because he wanted to make sure the shower didn't leak before they drywalled. My husband just requested a few days. Not a month of no contact. Also, this doesn't explain all the no contact prior. It took months just to be able to have a useable bathroom. - The workers continued to do short bursts of work and kept requesting extra days instead of doing all they could do in the same day. - On 8/6/2026 they showed back up. Without the main contractor. They did work and get a lot more done. However, they felt the need to do unprofessional stuff such as open my fridge and leave it open. I discovered it at 55 degrees with an unknown time of how long it was open. They left my door open to my house while working. None of them were needed to constantly go back outside so it wasn't necessary. I have so much more to say in detail. Unfortunately this review does not paint a picture of how horrible and unprofessional this experience was. I fully blame management for not keeping up with the contractors and making sure they were doing their job. Also for not communicating with us and scheduling times for the project.

We had such a great experience working with MAST on our beach condo remodel. From the very first…read moreconversation with Matt all the way through the proposal and contract process, everything felt smooth and well organized. Matt was always quick to respond to my many questions (and changes!) and made the whole process so much less stressful. Brian, our foreman, was truly amazing. Since we live three hours away, we had to put a lot of trust in him--and he completely delivered. He sent us updates and photos every night and kept in constant communication with us. He was patient when we needed time to make decisions and always gave helpful, honest advice when we needed it. He's incredibly knowledgable about every aspect of home renovation and we felt like he was always keeping our best interests at heart throughout the renovation. He really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. At our final walkthrough, he had already caught and planned to address things we hadn't even noticed. Jeremy also did an incredible job with the kitchen tilework (among many other things)--it turned out beautifully. He was always helpful and stepped in anytime Brian wasn't available, which we really appreciated. Overall, MAST was a dream to work with. The whole team made the process easy, and the end result exceeded our expectations. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.
