I am sure they had many other calls that day--units 'always' break at inopportune times... However, within 20 minutes they responded to a voice mail and had a senior technician (Mike) to the house within the next 30 minutes--less than an hour from our initial call. He did a thorough analysis of the issue, clearly described his findings and let us know next steps. Back at the office they worked up various options, called us early the next day, clearly explaining everything, including cost and timing. A day later parts arrived and Mike was at our house first thing in the morning, at the scheduled time. While he was completing the exterior installation, he noticed an interior valve that wasn't working correctly, ordered that and set up the final check. These are really good people. They communicate clearly. They complete the work efficiently, expertly and in a timely fashion. If you need HVAC work and want trustworthy contractors--call them!

I cannot recommend this company enough. Also, I cannot recommend the technician Sky enough either…read more I contacted them late in the evening. Early the next morning, I received a call from them. They asked if I still required service and when I said "Yes", indicated they had a technician available and said he could be there shortly. Sky was very personable and verified what I had done and checked the inside unit and breakers first. Then, he went outside and checked the external unit. He replaced a blown capacitor and I have A/C. From the time I was contacted to the time I got cold air blowing was less than an hour. The charge was very reasonable. I like it when a technician doesn't assume anything. It gives me a 'warm fuzzy' when someone 'trusts but verifies'. Thoroughness is a great quality in any job. Since we no longer rent our unit, our rental agent no longer handles routine maintenance, so Sky took my information for a service contract. The amount he quoted was also very reasonable. He gave me some hints to keep the unit in peak condition as well. During the service call, he received a call apparently from another technician. During that call, he was polite and attempted to talk the other person through some maintenance process. Just a very helpful guy. I will definitely use this company again.

This is a follow-up report on HVAC services initially provided by Golden Comfort in February,…read moreduring the recent extreme cold snap. The problem Jake and his team eventually found was complicated, related to air flow within our home and the performance of the dampers. It took substantial time and effort to diagnose, after which GC replaced the dampers and performed a few other tasks to ensure the system ran properly. Through it all, Jake was responsive, polite, informative, and thorough. The problem was resolved and I was billed fairly for the repairs, not for the many service calls he provided. Again, this was stellar customer service, performed diligently through what I'm sure was a very busy time for their business. I highly recommend GC to anyone who needs HVAC help in the MD/DE Eastern shore area.

All done right the first time. I disagree with Terry S's review. Lynch does know what they are doing. I have several condos and Jerry has had to cut into the wall on several occasions. That is where the plumbing is! My suggestion would be to get a siding guy to come out before hand and plan the job. You won't find a better plumber than Lynch, and he was honest with you up front. I Highly recommend Lynch Plumbing.
