My visit never happened due to the fact That I did'nt call them back to verify my Insurance when…read morethe operations Manager thought I should have. My appointment was on a Tuesday I called to give my information on Monday at 1:35 and was told the the operations manger cancelled my appointment because my insurance needed to be verified before my appoint. Monday is before Tuesday last I checked I know that The insurance can be verified in minutes. So my questions was when was I suppose to verify "When she wanted me to? I work the same hours that they open and cant jump on the phone when she needs information being I think that my information is private and work in an office environment. When I made this appointment I told them the problem I was having and that it was painful so to cancel and not give me adequate amount of time to call in a day before seems to show a lack of compassion for potential clients. I think that this office needs to give a specific time that you NEED to call back before they cancel your appointment without communicating this to you, if I hadn't called I would have taken off just to get there and the appointment would have been canceled. Waste of my time and loose money. Mind you I took this date off so that I could make the appointment and be on time. If a medical office have this kind of rules I think that they should notify you when you make the appointment. I spoke to this location twice and was never told that they had to verify my insurance more than 24hrs. before the appointment each time I told them I would call them back when I could talk, I think a day before is adequate amount of time to verify insurance if not they may need to check their practices. So to the operations Manager find some compassion and understanding for the working people that can't talk on their personal phones while they are at work as I am assure that many of us can't get on the phone when we want to at work to discuss personal affairs. Don't forget that once upon a time you were where we are at. Compassion and consideration is important when working with the public and it's free. After reading other reviews I can see that there needs to be a shake up at this location. remember what goes around always come back around. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.

They put it in writing, showing what they were going to do, how much it would cost, how much insurance would cover and that my co-pay was ZERO. It had my insurance plan at the top. So when they said it was covered, I believed them. IT WAS EVEN SIGNED! Then I got a bill for over $2,000. "Oh, we don't accept Medicaid, just your Medicare." "Yes, your insurance DOES pay for what we did, but we don't accept it, sorry about that!" They said they ran it. They said Aetna said it was a covered service. I disputed the bill with Aetna- yup, I'm on the hook for it, even though Aetna sent me a letter of denial and assured me I would not be billed. Do not trust these people!! I asked PLENTY of questions and was met with assurances all around. I'm on disability and now I have to pay them over $2,000 when I could have just gone somewhere else that really did accept my insurance. This should be illegal.

I have been terrified of the dentist for some time. Kind of like the car dealership, you have a go-between who talks billing and insurance with you away from the nurse and dentist. It's discrete and comfortable without pressure. My nurse (dental hygienist) was Susan? Or Sandy? God she was an angel. She was so kind to me breaking down and upset and in pain. She made me feel so comfortable talking about stuff and offering anything I might need. My dentist was Dr Taylor who was incredibly knowledgeable and proficient. I got out what needed to come out and I even scheduled an appointment for regular maintenance later this month. I was made comfortable to be there, whether I needed nitrous or a valium, either are available. And they make sure you are physically comfortable with numbing. Mentally comfortable is hard, but true kindness shines through in the folks who work there. I got a kids "reward" (shark plushie) to hold while I had my procedure. When I left I got a "goodie bag" with full instructions on what I had done, extra gauze, and an emergency card. It's a little hinky getting in with the road construction on witchduck road. But soon as your turn on Grayson, by the church, it's there. There's an employee entrance on the witchduck side and another saying Ste 200 on the side, even though the dentist is Ste 100, this is the door you go in.

I was absolutely amazed at how beautiful their office was and how nice their office staff was. My boyfriend had an appointment to pick KO up his Invisalign and I just so happened to accompany him and I'm so glad I did. As soon as we walked in, we checked in at the front and the front desk associate was super friendly. We only waited a short time before being summoned to the back. As we walked towards the back through the hallway, I was in awe with how clean the office was and how nice even the light fixtures were lol. You can tell they had a great interior decorator. As he sat in the dental chair and was given his Invisalign, the dental assistant Ashley, was super informative. She explained everything in great detail and provided a 3D view on their computer at how his teeth look today and how they will look once the process is over. She answered every question we had and even provided some helpful insight. As we chatted along, we realized that we were both Yelp Elites so that made me even more happier. Before we left, we stopped by the bathroom and even the decor in the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous and it smelled really good. Overall, we had an exceptional experience at Hatcher & Frey Orthodontics and I would recommend their services to anyone.

Konikoff Family Dentistry assured me they could help and got me in the next day. I was relieved. What followed felt less like patient care and more like a bait-and-switch. After X-rays, I was told they couldn't actually treat the problem and that I would need to see their specialist -- with an appointment scheduled a MONTH later. A month. For a cracked wisdom tooth causing significant pain. But somehow, despite being unable to address the urgent issue I came in for, there was still time to discuss teeth whitening treatments and tell me I supposedly had multiple cavities that would require extensive work. I left, found another dentist the very next day, had the wisdom tooth removed immediately, and was told there were no cavities or other issues. I understand referrals happen. Specialists exist for a reason. What I do not understand is bringing in a patient in acute pain, failing to meaningfully help them, then pivoting to cosmetic upsells and questionable diagnoses while they're sitting there suffering. If your office cannot provide emergency treatment, be honest about that upfront. Don't tell people in pain you can help, only to turn the visit into a sales opportunity. I would strongly encourage anyone seeking urgent dental care to get a second opinion.
