Groupon deal - 1 hour massage for 2 people…read more Pleasant after a rocky start. Using a groupon, I had to book ahead of time however upon arrival my booking was not in place. Most staff have limited English ability and thank goodness my broken Chinese got me through. 1 staff member was ready when we got there and though my booking wasn't in her schedule she started my treatment as soon as she could and was friendly and did as about the pressure and so on. My friend had to wait for another staff member who was late on the train due to terrifying Melbourne weather and the employee could speak some English which was helpful. When my treatment was done, several people were waiting in line and another customer walked out of her treatment saying "that was so good". Overall, I see people have had bad experiences however mine was pretty positive. I would come back here without a groupon...it shows the importance of staff capability and atmosphere of a business though. I have attached photos of the reception and yes the massage tables are mostly separated by curtains. From my experience i'd give it a shot...Chinese therapy and masage can include cupping, and is generally quite vigorous as they work on points on the meridian like acupuncture. My friend has just walked out and said "that was pretty good and the pressure was strong".

My partner and I had a terrible, overpriced experience…read more The staff did not greet us, instead making us wait while they ignored us and fawned over a baby for 20+ minutes (we were on time) before essentially grunting at us to move to the massage area (a row of beds behind curtains - don't expect actual rooms here). The massage itself was done by staff who obviously had little experience and were very unfriendly. Without asking, the "therapists" proceeded to do cupping for the majority of the hour, which was painful as they moved over bony protrusions (technique was poor). My partner and I were left with the grotesque cupping bruises for over a week (which we were not warned about). Note: Payments are prior to service and you need to claim back to your private health provider later as they do not have a hicaps machine. At $150 for the hour (before rebate), I would have expected a far better experience and level of professionalism, and plain courtesy. Extremely disappointed to have wasted so much money on this awful place.
