Not only is it a great home, but the finishes are higher end than the last home I was in as well. We had a one year warranty for our last home and that one year could not cover all that was wrong with the house. Cheap builders selling cheap homes that look nice. My neighbors entire home could have been rebuilt with the amount of problems that came with it and dangerous problems at that. This home we have now is perfect. We couldn't be happier with it and we could not find another home during our search that checked all of the boxes we were looking for in our price range. Dave is an amazing person. A genuinely good soul and someone that cares. He was with us every step of the way and kept us updated on everything. He asked our personal opinions on things and we got to know him as a person. I see him out around town now and feel lucky to have met him. He's very caring, kind and values your time. We had one freak problem happen that the plumber himself said was a fault of his own and it was done within the hour we messaged Dave about it. We feel comfortable and confident living in our new home. Again, I wish this one star review was not there because it very poorly reflects this business. I would recommend Dave to anyone and honestly have. I have nothing but good things to say. I have talked to people around town about him and they all say the same thing- that he is a genuinely good person and a really great builder. Even when the plumbers for that one problem were leaving our home I asked their opinion and asked if they were called back to these homes often. They said they've never come across a problem in one of these builds and that they really respect him as a builder. That was reassuring and just confirmed everything that I had believed already. I highly recommend Lakefront Builders and will back them up anytime. Thank you again Dave!!! So nice to have met you- we thank you for everything.

We were in a very old home and they worked on a complicated pattern. The cuts were perfect. As a designer, I have lots of "opinions"! They were very respectful and offered better solutions. This comes from their experience in the trade. Very responsive. No need to micro manage. If you want to know when they will show up each day, ask. The price was not cheap, but neither is the quality. I will definitely call them when we are ready for the kitchen reno.

No matter how many last minute changes I asked him to do (with literally not much time at all to get it done) he did so with a smile. He never complained and if we had annoyed him (which any sane person would have been) he never showed it. I can not thank him enough for the relentless days and nights he spent to make our dream come true! Most late nights, he worked by himself knowing his crew had families they needed to get home to. He and his wife never made us feel anything less than equals/friends. I never actually met his wife, but if Josh was unable to get to his phone if we called, she had no problem with us having their house number so she could relay messages for us. I didn't even realize how much their family was/had gone through until after Josh finished our dream and we were gloating to owners of a nearby store. Who happened to know Josh and his wife's story. The love that family has for each other even after how much his poor wife had gone through, just proves my point, Josh would bend over backwards for anyone he cared for. His wife is strong and even after we found out what she had gone through, never once complained about him working late. It is not my place to go into details but, if you haven't already had the pleasure of meeting this man., ask around. I'm sure someone will tell you their family is pure love and his work shows it! Not to mention, a couple very happy kiddos they have. So thank you Josh and Kaitlyn Spencer for making us feel like family. We will forever be grateful for what you did for us!
