Horrible experience. 100% would not recommend !!…read more They did not properly wrap my stuff and caused damage but didn't want to take responsibility for it after and tried to push liability. Took a huge L. Stay away unless you're ok with risking taking high risk for their negligence.

I experienced the worst move ever with this company. Also, they have refused, short of a lawsuit,…read moreto resolve the issues that resulted in my rating. We moved on March 9, 2022. During the move floors were unprotected and gouged and scratched and walls were also scratched and gouged. A 3 piece wall unit was ripped apart without the connecting bolts removed. In addition, 2 of the 6 glass doors were broken. A dryer and freezer were both damaged and the freezer stopped working. Parts were left anywhere. For example, 2 futons were taken apart. At the new house futon parts were found in the garage, some in the kitchen and others in the basement. Shelves to a bookcase were not found. Trash was left behind in our yard after they left. This is not a comprehensive list, just the major highlights. I filed a claim, and almost 4 months later here are the results. The damages to floors and walls cost over $1600 to fix. They offer $0 to repair. The bookcase cost $1100 30 years ago, and $7000 to replicate. They offer $850. The freezer reimbursement offer was $60. I elected $10,000 insurance, but you see the results of my claim submission. Here is Moving Ahead's last reply to me: If you still do not find our current offer to be acceptable, the next step would be to begin the arbitration procedure, as outlined in the documentation you have already received. If you have any questions regarding this process, I would be happy to assist in any way possible.. Thank you, Steven Mutter General Manager T: (513) 591-9818 movingaheadservices.com The character of any company is evident in how they respond when they make a mistake. You judge for yourself. My advice, buyer be very aware with Moving Ahead!

As we walked the store we come upon two employees sitting at the front counters on their personal cell phones. I engage the lady at who directs me to the other side. I ask her the availability of the U-Haul, to which she responds with maybe. Then picks up her personal phone and starts texting. Not the work phone that they use in some locations but her personal phone. So, I move along feeling that was a lost call. I ask about the availability of a 5'x10' storage unit. To which she responded, we might have some it just depends on the size. Getting frustrated with her careless responses, along with her still using her personal cell phone while I'm trying to get this business transaction done, I just asked if I could buy the bundle of medium boxes. Which I was met with how many? I stated again I'd like to buy the bundle, in this case a bundle equals twenty. It's written clear as day on the big sign posted above the boxes. I said twenty please, and of course I was met with attitude as if I were interrupting her break time. After she struggled through getting that rang up along with a roll of box tape I could finally go on with my business. I ended up going to a different location to get my other things. Professionalism and just pure respect are very low at this location. I for one will not be back.

Opened the door and was met with a cloud of marijuana smell. Tried to open the garage door but it's broken, and has been for several days. I found AJ and let him know about it - he didn't seem surprised. I pointed out boxes and other junk laying around that's been there since my last visit three days ago. While he walked around I went to my unit to find a (apparently) homeless woman laying against it with a sleeping bag and her stuff around her. AJ confronted her, reminding her that they had discussed it - so she's been doing this for a while. After she vacated I went back to my unit and was met with a strong urine odor. Summation - strong weed and urine smell can be absorbed by the items in my unit. Place is in disrepair and not secure. Management knows about it and seems unconcerned. Update: Mark, regional manager type, called and verified my suspicions that management is unconcerned. He admittedly got combative with me about the situation and completely wasted my time with the call. All he needed to say is "that sucks and I'm sorry that happened, and I would have been frustrated but it's a reasonable response. Instead he raised his voice and didn't listen at all. Based on his behavior, tone and demeanor there no chance I'll ever return.
