I booked them for my son's birthday party based on the recommendation of one of my friends and was thoroughly impressed with the entire operation. I've seen these types of trucks before at events but always came away feeling unimpressed. They usually seem staffed by people who don't want to be there and are unfriendly. The staff of Gamer Events Los Angeles, however, was extremely professional and very friendly. My son also said that they really knew what they were doing and had extensive knowledge of the games they had on hand. One of the staff members even helped teach my son some tricks at one of the games, I forget which one. I had my reservations about booking a truck like this for a party because I thought it would keep the children from running around and spending time with one another but they all had a blast playing the different games with one another and it was so much easier than having them all fight over the few controllers my son has. Even some of the adults at the party got into the Wii games. Wow! I mean really... Wow! last year I used another type of game truck service and was not really impressed with the staff, although they insisted the experience would be more than fun and their supervision would be engaging and attentive. The trailer they set up was not really sturdy enough for the 14 players we were able to fit in at a time (they had one station broken). They had three controllers that kept shorting out a couple minutes into a game. I wrote the experience off as being an experience with a new venture that really didn't have their act together yet, mechanically and personal interactively. It just seemed that they didn't want to be there and kept looking at the clock. They answers questions and helped the kids out, but I think the party guests knew more about how the truck worked than the staff. This year for his birthday, he said he wanted another game truck company that he saw at his friend's house. I expected another company with the same sort of setup and crew, but I was VERY impressed when I found out they would show up with a large motor-home style truck. They showed up early, turned on their generators, air conditioning and booted up the consoles and away they went... on time and at full capacity. It was the fasted 3 hours of a kid's party I have ever experienced. I let them park in my driveway, so it was nice and safe for the kids to go from the house to the game RV and back again for refreshments (none allowed inside the RV for obvious reasons). The two guys who managed the RV were great, friendly and didn't talk down to the kids... or adults. It was such a great experience, my son wanted to have them back at the end of baseball season for the team party (I am an assistant coach). My wife insisted we tip them, and we did. They had all the games the kids desired with all the popular different flavors of game systems. They even had 3D games! They experience was so positive for me as a father, I'm suggesting to my corporate leadership that we use this outfit for distance training at some of our out lying offices. I would like to see them offer turnkey TV viewing for special events as well... like the Super Bowl in 3D perhaps? I don't think they have local TV station or satellite hook ups though. What sold me was their game catalog, over 1000 titles. Super happy we went with RV Arcade. My wife scheduled with Will, very nice and professional. The day of the Birthday the kids were super excited. The RV shows up and after a quick setup it was GAME TIME. The RV is AWESOME! It is not as large as some other places game buses (there was no way to get a Greyhound size bus on our street, nor did we want a small trailer). The temp inside was perfect. The couches and the cleanliness of the gear is top notch. The selection of games was fantastic, I mean folders and folders of games. If they did not have it on one system they had it on another. Our game hosts asked us up front what type of games preference we had, I told them no M games.
