Red Flag #2 - rude staff. Red Flag #3 - no communication with patients waiting. There were 2 others that left before I did and one that basically looked at me and said she was stuck going where her insurance said she had to go. What a sorry excuse of a Family Medicine clinic. Avoid his place. All signs point to this doctor retiring soon anyways. Go somewhere where the practitioners enjoy their job and are about patients.

Initially had a promising consultation with Dr. Siadati but since then it has all been downhill. First my testing orders were delayed. After repeatedly calling the office I was able to get the orders submitted. Then had my follow up on 11/05 which was rescheduled to 11/14 then rescheduled to 11/19 only for me to find out that (after showing up for the appointment) that it was meant to be 12/19. I took time from work and drove almost 30 miles for the appointment so this is extremely frustrating. UPDATE: Today is 12/19 at 2:14pm and I receive a call from the doctor's office stating that Dr. Siadati will not be able to make it to my appointment and they are calling to reschedule. Needless to say, I told them to cancel my appointment and I will find a different doctor. As hopeful as I was after my first meeting, I feel betrayed as I had all sorts of tests done that I will now have to re-establish with a new doctor. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

However her office manager is awful, very condescending and impatient. The practice is also overly reliant on a cantankerous patient portal that stinks, and for online payment they only accept f'n PayPal, not credit cards. Last fall she announced she would no longer accept most major medical insurance like Blue Cross PPO. I spoke with the doc about her decision and her move to a prepay or semi concierge model. She doesn't have the customer service background to handle that correctly but she was adamant that she couldn't live with the finances of the funds provided thru insurance. Her new office rates were exorbitant so I moved on to a new Endocrenologist.

But as their health has declined, his front office staff has not only made getting them in to see Dr. Carlton more challenging, they are also in need of a refresh training on professionalism toward their patients and customers. Recently, my mom, suffering from dementia, had a cough, non-COVID, after testing, and when we called to get her an appointment, we were told they are not allowing sick patients into the office and perhaps they could call in some antibiotics for her and scheduling a video visit. First, you're a doctor's office not allowing for sick patients to come in? Ridiculous! Second, prescribing antibiotics without seeing your patients is not only stupid, you may end of killing someone. Third, a video visit won't work as my mom, even before her dementia, wasn't technically astute for a video call. Phone messages left to ask about getting a doctor's order for needed imaging often go unanswered and when you do get someone on the line, instead of professional courtesy, one often faces what can only be described as an attitude on their part. It's a customer-service industry, and if you can't be nice on the phone to people who are sick in need of a doctor's care, or their families who are just trying to help, you are in the wrong profession.

Just so happens the office called me today with results of some scheduled lab work that I had done; when I asked about why no one has called me back, the young woman (Alyssia) just laughed stating "well it wasn't me" and when I told her that it was not a laughing matter, she stated that she would check. Of course, the other staff members stated that there was not a message left. Well, I am not crazy and I documented the times I called, yet she still for some reason found it humorous. Hoping my new doctor will be amazing. Don't go here unless you want to have long waits, lost prescriptions, and refusals for refills. I really don't know why I didn't change sooner.

He spent no more…read morethan 10 min with me...and charged my insurance over $600....he did no tests, nothing...well his assistant did take my BP. He gave me 2.. 90 day scripts that I had been on for years...that was 3 months ago...I called for a refill for 90 days...last week and I still have not heard back from his front staff and he still has no sent my RX in....I finally called the staff to see what the issue was and I was told I would need to see him to get a refill, I was just there 3 months ago...no one bothers to call me when I made the request....what is it with Dr's. staff and Dr's now days. My PCP that retired was wonderful...saw me once a year gave me a years worth of my usual meds. When I called for t hi staff would get him to fill it the same day! So tired of people's work ethics these days. I'm in my 60's and have my own my own business and if I ran it like this...I would be out of business...Where doe one find a GREAT doctor these days...
