We discussed me bringing my parents ottoman in to get it recovered for Christmas. The next day my mom and I visited the shop, selected a fabric, and left the Ottoman. A few days later, I called to check on it, due to the holiday season he was having trouble getting the fabric in time for Christmas. So I made a quick stop over and together we found a new fabric that he would be able to get and have it completed be Christmas. The next day he finished that Ottoman and I was able to pick it up Christmas Eve to give it to my parents. It looks GORGEOUS, the price was fair and the workmanship is superb. I got the headliner repaired on my daughters car & he said at first it would take about 4 hours & then he kept the car for over 7 hours. When we went to go pick up the car he was not there so we had to wait for him. To our surprise, he was driving OUR CAR! He gave us an excuse about not wanting anyone to mess with it, but he had a shop that he could have put the car inside. I'm sorry but I think it is completely wrong to be driving the customers car. I will not be referring him to anyone! If you want him to take your car for a joy ride, then be my guess. read more

Took a camping folding stool to get stitched, approximately 10 to 12 inches he quoted me $40 and that it would only take one hour then he called me and told me that he was going to do it at the end of the day, and we decided that I will pick it up the next day... The next day I called him around noon, and he told me that it was not ready, but if I wanted it done that day that he would charge me $60... he is a mess.! For $60 I can buy 2 new stools. Wence did an outstanding job reupholstering my dash in my Cessna. He did a French stich with a contrast thread which made it stand out. He came out to the airport and completed the install. Called the guy scheduled 2 weeks in advance to come check out a sofa bed for service. Wanted vinyl fabric. He showed up with a ton of fabric samples for me to choose from. I picked a color from the sample deck. Job was done 2 weeks later and delivered to my house. Good quality of work. This was original a sofa bed with cotton fabric which was bought over 10 years ago at Robinson May store. I like the frame. So decided to get it re-upholstered. Since I have cats, I wanted a fabric that is more or less water resistant and easy to clean. So I picked vinyl. I bought the clear film on Amazon to adhere to the sofa to deter my cats from scratching. Works like a charm! Very good service. I highly recommend. read more

I'm sorry to say that I do not recommend this business. I spoke to the owner and we made an appointment to meet over the weekend. I changed all my plans so that I could be home. When I called/texted him when he was 30 minutes late I got no response. Later, the following week I made arrangements yet again to meet up with him. Again, the appointment time passed and I called him and he finally texted back- I'm home already. Say what??? I'm done! I was trying to support a local business that was less than 3 miles away from my home. But I guess that's not going to be the case. Again, I do not recommend this business. I believe honesty and integrity should be at the forefront of any business. I believe this business is lacking both. read more

I have used them for my car seats and they did a great job at a fair price. The next time I used him was not such a good experience. He asked for $100 deposit and he did not give me a receipt. FIRST RED FLAG. He did a great job before and seemed nice enough so I trusted him. First off he did not complete the job as promised in time, a small job at that. After getting the run around on the phone for weeks and being told tomorrow, tomorrow, I drove there. He had the wrong colors and insisted they were what I picked, we got the color swatch and his material was wrong, not even close, yet he still insisted it was right??? Made no since, he does this for a living??? I should have went somewhere else at that point!! But I need the job finished now so I went and bought the correct material with my money and brought it to him. He finally finished and then when I picked them up he tried to double the price from 60e to $125e. I told him no way that's not what we agreed on, we went back and forth and I reminded him of the price and told him other local guys wanted the same price, why would I ever agree to paying 2x especially since that was not what he verbally quoted me. This is the reason there are laws that a written estimate be written to help keep people honest. He then accused me of being dishonest.
