My first visit to this office proved to be a real bummer! When I went to retrieve my glasses, the receptionist handed me the glasses in the case, and said here you go. I tried them on and immediately told her I couldn't see anything. Everything is just a blur. She was very nice and offered to get the doctor. I was also confused to just be handed the glasses and no one was there to actually fit them to me. I've never experienced that in all my years of wearing glasses. I waited for a bit, but it was clear with the amount of people there, that it would be quite a lengthy wait and I was unprepared for it. I told her that I would try the glasses for a little bit and be in touch. After several hours of wearing the glasses, all I had was blurry vision and a terrible headache. I did let the doctor know, and to be fair, she did reach out. However, the impression I got was that she couldn't have made a mistake. That alone made me feel like even if I gave her a second chance I would be treated as an inconvenience. I guess I should've known when my appointment felt very rushed during the exam and after being told that I needed to wait 20 minutes for the drops to do their job for the exam, and I was still sitting in the room across from the examining room at the 45 minute mark, that I should've kept my money. Three other patients were seen in the same exam room that I had been in during my exam . I paid in full at the time I ordered my glasses. Perhaps that was my mistake? They had my money and didn't seem to really care, but the glasses were not just a little bit off, but completely off. I live quite a distance from this practice, and did let them know that. I would not recommend this practice for a few reasons: the first reason being that the doctor was extremely rushed, and for the most part did not speak. The way the desk is in the examining room, her back is to her patient and you're definitely just a number even in this small practice. I was really excited to find this practice because it took my VSP. However, I'm now out the money for the glasses and have resorted back to my old glasses. I will be in search of another eye doctor and hopefully this review can save others the same experience. read more
