We were served our alcoholic beverages, champagne, and food, all within a reasonable timeframe. I wasn't sure whether or not I should be thanking the caterer for this, or the wedding coordinator. Even the restrooms were nice and clean. The bride and groom rented these miniature cows to come and hang with us for part of the reception. I thought that was a really nice touch. There was plenty of parking, but the only thing is you have to drive quite a bit to find this place- it's a hidden behind another type of farmer's market/pumpkin patch farm in the front.

If you want a day-of coordinator, you can hire Laura to take care of all the important details on your big day. We also had our rehearsal dinner here (you can pay extra) to rent out the house on the premises or you could just rent out the huge outdoor area in the back of the house. Table and chairs are included with the rental fee. We decided to go with DJ's catering that Laura recommended and they took great care of the catering + drinks part. That is another business I'd highly recommend. Laura has a pay-it-forward program where you can donate one item from your wedding decor and you get free access to the entire room of decor such as signs, card boxes, table numbers, bar signage, vases,etc to use for your wedding which we made great use of. Our ceremony took place in the front grassy area and the reception dinner in the cobblestone area. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how nice everything was afterwards. We had no hiccups or issues on the day of the wedding, the weather was in the low 80s and by the time dinner came around, it was perfect temperatures. The venue offers plenty of greenery and shade even on a hot day. There is also plenty of parking spaces for guests and areas for guests to roam around the venue during cocktail hour. The venue itself is gorgeous, but it also comes with some great amenities that made it a perfect fit for us (such as the cottage and bungalow to get ready in as well as the accessibility). It was easy for our guests to get to, there is plenty of parking, and the whole space is just beautiful. We loved all of the peacocks and water features - it feels like you're walking into an oasis. The cottage and bungalow were as huge plus for us as we got to hang out and get ready before the ceremony in the AC with our friends and family. Our guests kept telling us how much they loved the venue as well as the Eden Gardens, Velvet Alley Events, and CPC staff as everyone was so helpful and friendly. We are also really glad to have chosen preferred vendors, as everyone worked together seamlessly and knew exactly how to get around the venue. It's also home of Ronald and Nancy Reagan, who are both buried here on the property for those who don't know.. The scenery up here in the top of the hill is really there's no description to describe of how peaceful it is up here. Yes, it's in the heart of Simi Valley.. Also on the facility is Air Force One the plane that Reagan flew on during his eight years as president, his helicopter and a couple of his police vehicles that did the escort. There's also a Stout bomber an F-16 a tank also on the property that are displayed. I volunteered my time yesterday for the Boys and Girls Club of California actually, it was the boys in club of Simi Valley in Moorpark kids that are at a disadvantage who don't have both parents that need financial help moral support and other things in life to make them a better person. I helped do the silent auction where there was several different pieces that were auctioned off during the event. The staff did a phenomenal job. It was $190 per person for the meal and it was all catered and cooked by the staff here at the location portable bars were set up throughout the venue. So I just want to thank the staff for doing a great job in coordinating and supporting and doing this event for the boys and girls having allowing them to hold their event here. The main dish was a top sirloin, steak, salmon, asparagus, roasted potatoes, and of course, a garden salad and two different types of desserts. One was a strawberry cake parfait. Overall, the employees you're doing a fantastic job and maintaining it from the groundskeepers to the security most of all it was a tremendous.venue.

Mind you on my order I stated I need a morning pickup for first thing in the morning when the store open. The business did not state on the online order of the different pickup location nor did they contact me. I called the number went straight to voicemail. Left a few voicemails and they never called me back. Owner contacted me a week few days later and said she was out of town. I requested she issue a refund and she said she would. I appreciated it at the time. Since then, i have not received a refund. Contacted owner twice after that and she again said she will issue a refund. I know $5 in retrospect doesn't seem like a lot, but it's really sad to see how greedy these owners have become. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. you lost a loyal customer
