She was very reassuring since we live 6 hours away in SF and made sure everything we wanted was taken care of. If you want a day-of coordinator, you can hire Laura to take care of all the important details on your big day. We also had our rehearsal dinner here (you can pay extra) to rent out the house on the premises or you could just rent out the huge outdoor area in the back of the house. Table and chairs are included with the rental fee. We decided to go with DJ's catering that Laura recommended and they took great care of the catering + drinks part. That is another business I'd highly recommend. Laura has a pay-it-forward program where you can donate one item from your wedding decor and you get free access to the entire room of decor such as signs, card boxes, table numbers, bar signage, vases, etc to use for your wedding which we made great use of. Our ceremony took place in the front grassy area and the reception dinner in the cobblestone area. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how nice everything was afterwards. We had no hiccups or issues on the day of the wedding, the weather was in the low 80s and by the time dinner came around, it was perfect temperatures. The venue offers plenty of greenery and shade even on a hot day. There is also plenty of parking spaces for guests and areas for guests to roam around the venue during cocktail hour. We hope you choose RDLP when it's your turn to tie the knot, we couldn't have made a better decision.

There are multiple spaces that can be used. Indoor and outdoor dining areas available. Pond with ducks and geese. Lots of paths to walk around in to kill time. I see that there is a residence in the premises. If this is available for the bridal party to use to get ready, this facility is even better than I thought. Food was pretty good too.

Eden gardens was a beautiful venue with a great layout for our wedding. Although we did use a…read morehealthy amount of florals, the venue's vegetation itself lends much to the beauty of the event and we could have likely had less florals with no loss of ambience. The night lighting is beautifully romantic without being too dark, in addition to the multiple fountains adding elegance. The paved walkways were well maintained and kept clean of leaf litter during our event. The availability of two get-ready suites was essential to our queer wedding, and provided ample space for both brides to get ready comfortably with family. Booking the venue requires you to hire their partner Velvet Alley for wedding coordination (or buying them out), but we recommend you take the full coordination package as their assistance with the entire event was invaluable. Soltana was an amazing addition to our planning team, and that is coming from a couple who is fiercely independent, self-sufficient and has high expectations. Soltana was detail oriented, highly-competent, easy to communicate with, ready to answer questions, very willing to help us solve problems, and positive when talking to us. We can honestly say that dealing with Soltana was a highlight of our wedding planning process and our big day would not have been as smooth without her. Overall, our wedding was amazing, and our guests loved the food.

The most striking feature of all was the precision demonstrated by Soltana Mulhearn, and her team from Velvet Alley Events. https://www.instagram.com/velvetalleyevents/ From first meeting at rehearsal Soltana greeted the party, took us on a tour of the lovely property, and explained how the ceremony would be conducted. Soltana's deft handling of the 25, or so, members of the wedding party, all while being patient, and with a smile, was more than reassuring to me, and the others as well. Her staff seamlessly underpinned the event. Her staff were professional, well trained, and just beautiful people. A live event can go "off" at any time. Soltana kept the wedding on track from start to finish, and all with that smile! I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Eden Gardens, and the amazing services of Velvet Alley Events. If you were alive then, or younger now and learning about this time in our country's history, this is a once in a lifetime must do. Ronald Reagan's entire life history, his career as an actor, Governor of California, and then President of the U.S.A. is presented. But so much more. This time in our nation's history was well presented, the good and the bad is all presented. Lots of amazing artifacts, Reagans actual writings, historical speeches and his love of his wife Nancy is all there. But the coolest part of the tour is in the pavilion, they have the actual Air Force One jet President Reagan and 7 other presidents traveled on and you can tour the inside of it too, very cool! Also, there is the Marine One helicopter he used, a collection of presidential limo's and secret service vehicles. In the gardens is an actual piece of the Berlin wall and the burial place of President Reagan and his wife Nancy. My wife and I had no idea how big this place was, we got there at 10am and barely finished at 5pm when they closed. Plan to be there all day, we were wiped out when we finished. They have a good restaurant, we got the Ruben, and it was delicious, but the restaurant is expensive. There is so much to this place, too much to write here, you have to go.

I saw way way too many staffers standing around like used car salesman, waiting to jump on you as soon as you cross their station . It was annoying, disappointing, and I had to apologize for bringing my guest. It's disgusting that they would charge me to see an airplane and a helicopter that my tax dollars paid for . Yes, peasants come and see what it looks like to be king on your tax dollar .
