I'm a regular international traveler and every single time I've traveled with my Pinnacle card, it's gotten locked. Despite calling them in advance. Their app is also terrible - I have to lookup my password every time I use it even though it's Face ID compatible. When I had some fraud, they sided with the company that was fraudulent. And now that I'm trying to buy a house, they gave me incorrect wiring instructions and it's now affecting my closing (doesn't help that the woman, appropriately named Karen, was so condescending and rude despite a Pinnacle employee giving me the wrong info). Do NOT bank with Pinnacle!

But making it hard to access my money was my choice: I deliberately did not have an ATM card. And I did not allow myself to find out where their ATMs are. (Although I'm pretty sure it was downstairs from my offices.) I wasn't planning on joining them, but they had occasional visits to our location from their staff, making it easy to create or change accounts. Plus, the guy was able to answer questions on the spot regarding employees who have current accounts. I loved the convenience of setting up a savings plan and forgetting about it. So much so that when I recently moved, I completely forgot to close my account. It was a pain to withdraw my money -- but, that's the reason why I joined. I'm too lazy to go to the main branch that the money had no choice but sit there and earn interest, far from my foolish hands. It wasn't a pain having friendly staff who helped me with my transaction; just a pain to take time off from work since I was not on the main campus. Closing my account while in my home state was a simple email. Got my final check yesterday, and I wish I could've stayed with them.
