This place has legit Colombian food served by a great staff. Everything was right on the money as far as authenticity right down to the jugo de lulo. I passed by this place each day on my way to I-75 from Hialeah Gardens and finally decided to give it a try. I was a little hesitant being that it was a "gourmet" burger joint, not knowing what I was going to expect from an eatery in Hialeah, but boy was I wrong. Since my first visit I have gone back 3 times. The burgers are excellent. Taste, texture, appearance, you name it---its there. The cook prepares everything fresh, and as the other reviews point out, the smell gets you prepared to indulge. I must admit, for those people with children, the kids menu may be small but it is the best tasting kids food around. The chicken or fish is fresh (not frozen), hand battered and fried. OMG! The natural juices are to die for (Pina and Mango). The only thing I would say is that because of its location, the locals may not give it a chance and fully appreciate this gem. This place belongs in either Midtown, Brickell, or in Broward somewhere. Give it a try!! read more

Came with very high expectations about this place, friends and family have come here before and when I asked where can I eat good Colombian food they did not hesitate to send me here. Pros: Good service, location since it's just right off 75, TVs and the tostones, empanadas were good. Cons: Mojarra frita (which is really not mojarra, is tilapia) came with a pond of oil inside, churrasco really chewy and I think it wasn't even churrasco, in their menu they had cazuela de mariscos and other sea food dishes and when I asked to get one they did not have it available. If you're in the are and you are hungry then go, but there is better Colombian places than this... Oh and a little bit too expensive. read more

I have been driving by this Colombian restaurant for months and always wanted to go in. However I was always a little put off by the dark lighting and the fact that it was always empty when I drove by. However my curiosity about it still lingered. Today my husband and I were wondering- "What should we eat- where to go?" Then I saw it again. Hey! Lets try it, we have always wondered about it, right? My husband was all in. We grabbed our two toddlers and went into the darkly lit place. It was dark- kind of clubby feel- loud music on. The bar tender put the music down a bit and greeted as I picked a table. The wicker chairs felt iffy for us so we looked for more stable seating. We looked and saw what I felt fit right in that corner of the restaurant so well- in the middle of black wicker and silver toned furniture there was this both type table and chairs with cow hide coverings. It was next to a wall with some typical Colombian artistry. Nice! Even my kids seem to love it. We decided to order a Colombian Staple- Empanadas- Yellow corn pockets with beef and potatoes as an appetizer and Bandeja Paisa- A country dish consisting of: Colombian pork rinds, Colombian Sausage, sweet and toasty plantains, a thin steak, red beans, rice, white corn cake- and a fried egg.... yes delicious- you know you are curious and want to try it! Since there was no one else in the restaurant; I was afraid the food would taste old or not be fresh, but no, it was GREAT. I could hear and smell the steak cooking, egg frying. The empanadas actually had meat in them and the salsa or 'ahi' as I would call it was excellent. We were very impressed! The prices were good and worth every penny!
