The store seems especially curated with vintage mid century modern, rattan, academic, and funky pieces. Might I add that everything is in amazing condition and of solid wood construction. The best part is everything is very reasonably priced. I met one of the owners Alex, and he was nothing short of kind and forthcoming. I will definitely be stopping by in the future to look for more pieces for my home. Do know that the store is only open Thursday through Saturday from 11-3 but they do offer appointments to view the store on other days of the week.

Sunday, my wife and I stopped in looking for a recliner. After just a few minutes we saw a leather…read moreone, a floor model, that we liked and we're sure it would fit our needs. (At the time, we noticed a mark of some kind on one of the arms.) Tara, our sales person, told us that there were two of these in stock, and that we wouldn't have to wait for three month if we were okay with that color. So we had her write up the order for a new one, which was to be taken from their local stock. Delivery was to be made on Wednesday, and as it turned out, it was brought out a day earlier than that. Upon arrival, I noticed that the chair was not boxed as you would normally expect for a piece like this. The guys proceeded to carry it to the front porch where I asked to inspect it before taking it inside. I noticed that the piece was marked up in several places, with dents (or impressions) on the backside. And interestingly enough, there was a mark on the arm in the same place as the floor model. Hmm! Needless to say, I refused the delivery, and phoned Tara, explaining the situation, and asked her if they had sent out the floor model instead of a new one. She didn't know. So I asked if she could go back and look to see if the model was still there. Of course, she was too busy, but after pressing the issue, she reluctantly went back and looked. And sure enough the model was gone. I then asked if she would check and see if they had a new one in stock or not. She said she would look into it and call me back. I waited 24 hours, but no call back. Since it had already been too long of a wait, I ended up initiating a call from my end. Even after trying, I wasn't able to find out why we were sent a floor model without someone calling ahead of time to see if we would be okay with that, or since she was the one who sold the piece why she 'supposedly' wasn't told about it beforehand. I was also puzzled as to why the store manager never called us to try and make things right. She did apologize, I'll give her that, but then she went on to say, "there were much bigger problems in the world." I didn't disagree with that, but that certainly didn't explain her company's lack of integrity in working with us. Anyhow, we did agree on a charge credit, but what a horrible experience and time waster this was for us! You might want to think twice before giving this company your business.

And then delight like a child in a candy store as walk around figuring how on earth you're going to either afford it all or fit it all into your home. There is so much more than just furniture here. Yes, they've got lots of furniture, and what they have is built to last. This is the furniture that you buy once and it lasts a lifetime -- or more. Most of their pieces are constructed of solid oak, but they can be stained in different wood tones to match any decor. I was surrounded by beautifully constructed, unique items that I have never seen before. Absolutely gorgeous. Incredibly functional as well. Look beyond the surface here, though. Children's pieces: wooden pull toys, high chairs, children's table and chair sets, rocking chairs, wooden trains, rocking horses. Other items that stun you such as rocking chairs (yes, think outside the box on this one), quilt racks (which is what we came here for), curio cabinets, hope chests and accessories. There are so many things crammed into this store that your creative imagination is on overload. Sales staff could not be more kind, friendly or accommodating. Shipments to locations outside of their general area is available; I was sure to snag one of their brochures so I could find them on the web to order items from them. Whatever I would pay in shipping will be well worth it because the quality is far superior to anything I have seen in years. It just doesn't get any better than this. Absolutely beautiful selection of incredibly magnificent pieces of art in the form of various types of wood furniture and accessories. If you live anywhere in this area and are in need of GOOD wood furniture pieces, do not pass them by. You will not be disappointed.

All of this hullabaloo stemmed from the owner, Teliee, not being able to deliver an unstained and non-defective piece of furniture that I bought under customary conditions from Soft Square. Instead of providing me with the replacement for my Soft Square furniture that was delivered damaged and delivering on the store guarantee (promised back in August) to replace it, Soft Square's owner, Teliee, refused to honor the store promise and proceeded to raise his voice and yell expletives. Teliee seems to be a misogynist and disrespected female customers in a way he would never speak to a male customer. He was verbally abusive and repeatedly said, "F*** you and get out of my store" in lieu of honoring the store guaranty. Please note that no raised voices or expletives were uttered by me or my daughter. The owner has severe anger management issues and is not fit to deal with customers. He proceeded to inform us that many pieces of furniture arrive damaged and that somehow after spending a 4-figure sum, I should be expected to deal with this defect in furniture....  Please note that even Ikea guarantees that furniture will arrive in mint condition. He spoke to us with such disrespect for female customers that I was truly shocked and disappointed. It was extremely hostile behavior and not commensurate to the environment of such a store. He tried to bully us and was verbally aggressive to coerce us to accept a less-than-suitable solution. He tried to force us to accept the cheapest and shabbiest form of repair (which likely would have resulted in a perpetually damaged item) instead of the promised replacement. He went back on the word of the store manager, which I have email evidence of. Deann, the sales representative, was condescending and berated us repeatedly. She did not listen to any of our concerns and insisted that nothing was wrong with our furniture despite previous acknowledgement of the issue. She then pretended that she never saw emails where the store manager promised a proper replacement of the damaged item. After buying from high-end furniture stores for over three decades, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. There are numerous furniture stores in the area which have great customer service not only during the sale but after as well. If you'd like to simply buy a piece, one has to hope they never deal with the owner, Teliee, or the sales representative, Deann, after the sale. This was, by far, the worst customer service and experience I have ever experienced from any store.
