Quality food. Worked with us during Hurricane duty to feed the soldiers. Quality products and tasty food. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything was as expected!

I feel bad doing this, as I have never reviewed a restaurant before, and I always try to support small and local. However, the multiple experiences me and my boyfriend have had between both Rustic Dough Works locations have been mid-to-poor to say the least, and we each were really wanting to give them a chance. This last time was really the last straw, I felt compelled to make a yelp account because it made me so upset. Note about the photos: yes I took it after a couple bites, but the problems I am about to note are still obviously evident in the disparity between their promo and what was given to me. Food: Downright misleading. Using AI generated pictures of your food makes me question what you are hiding, and now I know why. I would want to hide this too, the way this tasted. Somehow the AI generated food (and I absolutely hate AI) looks like it would have tasted better than the real thing... that says a lot. The noodles weren't even the right noodles (which the server acknowledged was one of the various kitchen mixups that night), the sauce was like taking a jarred vodka sauce and adding way too much cream or milk, it literally tasted like a flavorless cream sauce with a tint of orange. Its unfortunate because the chicken underneath all that seemed to be breaded and cooked pretty well. It's just that when I order penne ala vodka, I expect penne ala vodka, not fettuccini ala straight-up-cream. Service: Honestly that's the only redeeming quality here. The server was very nice and attentive, refilled drinks, refilled bread, etc. They even admitted to our dining party that the AI generated specials menus often look different than what the actual dishes are, and items featured on the dishes in the AI photos often do not even come in the real dishes. I respect the heck out of the server's honesty! Ambiance: The whole place is kind of small and cramped once they get busy (and they do!) and the art everywhere is super ugly AI generated things nobody wants to look at while they dine. Not a comfortable setting nor professional/expected nice dining-out environment at all. I knew going into this experience that they were big on AI based on their social media and two previous brief takeout experiences I've had here, but a friend chose here as their birthday dinner, and as my first sitting-in dining experience here, I didn't realize the full extent of how much it's really plastered all over the place. It's not really the kind of setting I'm expecting when dining out is such a luxury for many at this point, when I am looking to have that rare nice night out with a date or friends. Previously I had only done take out dining here. Between both locations, this was my third and final time attempting to understand the baffling local hype around Rustic Dough Works. Three strikes and you're out, I will not waste more money coming here again.

First of all this review is for the to go bakery side only. I've been here 3 times just for the bagels or cinnamon rolls to go. Everytime I've had it takes FOREVER. There only on person working in the front and she has to do everything for each person so when you order you wait for her to make the bagels and coffee and whatever you have before you take a new person order. Then I noticed they keep changing their prices. I went on Saturday last week it was all good I had the nicest lady ever. Then I went again yesterday and I asked for two bagels and she put them in a bag and I asked will she warm it up and add cream cheese because she didn't even ask and she's like oh that's separate charge, that's fine if it is but not once did she asked or anyone has said anything first time I've heard about an extra charge. I like it here but after that experience I don't know, I guess it depends on who you get.

Delicious!

What a great little place with nice bakery items and the lady at the counter was truly terrific... This pizza came up very fast. I ordered the one with the ricotta, garlic and pepperoni, and it is over the top. Good you can taste it. This sourdough definitely has been fermented and it is so delicious. You've got me hooked.

We tried the traditional NY pizza last night. Absolutely fantastic. It's rare that myself, my wife and both kids like anything, but everyone thought it was good. We'll definitely be back, highly recommend!!

The meat sauce was very meaty and flavorful. The spices and oils were blended to perfection. The flavors were wonderful but light and clean. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We were one of three tables seated, by 6:00 they were on a wait. Still easy to speak without any overreaching music interrupting our meal. We both usually look to try our favorite dishes and Karen did get her mainstay, Chicken Marsala, while I went completely off script and did not order the Saltimbocca Vitello, but tried something completely new to me. Gamberetti Con Pomodoro Essiccato E Arancia was an amazing selection I will seek out from now on. Karen's marsala looked fantastic, veggies were firm and bright and the dish was prepared properly. As for the Gamberetti Con Pomodoro Essiccato E Arancia, holly shit, what the hell was that? I've had lemon pasta before, but this is unique. I'm hooked. Caesar salad was very good and well balanced. Tiramisu was, like my pasta, home made and made the coffees exceptional. We will be back often.

The atmosphere is pretty casual and the staff is moderately friendly, but it was off to a bad start when we weren't offered the complimentary bread and oil that I saw in the reviews and pics... everyone else seemed to get it, so not sure why we didn't. We ordered a large ceasar for the table and I was in shock to see the size of it! $9 for what would be a personal side salad anywhere else was absolutely ridiculous and not worth the price at all. Between the three of us we all had tiny portions and there wasnt even enough for us to all have a second helping that didnt consist of more than a few leaves. The wings were decent, ill give them that, but then we got to the mains. I was so disappointed that my pizza was really lacking flavor and was seriously undercooked and chewy. I didnt feel like having to wait for them to cook it longer so just waited till I got home to crisp it up properly. The chicken marsala lacked flavor as well and came with an overwhelming amount of pasta, which i suppose some would be happy about. The califlower crust was pretty good and the amount of toppings made up for the missing herbs, salt and maybe garlic in the sauce? Overall it was underwhelming.

Always consistent , always on point, and the bread is always fresh. No matter where you are traveling to , you can always count on Carrabas to provide a satisfying meal . One of my favorite entrees in the chicken trio - it's perfect for indecisive eaters like myself that want to try several dishes at once . The dish features three different chicken preparations : chicken Bryan , pollo Rosa Maria and chicken Marsala . All three are delicious but the goat cheese and sun-dried tomato combo on the chicken Bryan forever has my heart . Carrabas does not take traditional reservations however you can use their website/app and click "get on the waitlist " to minimize wait during their prime time hours - you can also do call ahead seating and give them a call when you're on the way to add you to their list. We did call ahead seating on this visit and so glad we did because the wait appeared to be an hour when we arrived . While we did have to wait a few minutes , calling ahead definitely got us seated more quickly ahead of the walk in crowd.

Lackluster food, salty soups, musty and dark environment. Restaurant with low ceilings, musty and moldy stench like dining in an old basement from the 70's. Truly no ambiance whatsoever. Crab cakes salty with a lot of filler. Tip: salad dressing even for the garden salad comes premixed with a Caesar type of cheese infused mixture. The balsamic vinaigrette seems processed with a preservative aftertaste. We had to ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar instead. Thank God for Caitlin- the only valuable asset we came across during our lunch. She was professional, kind and attentive from beginning to end. She asked a colleague for a hand and was ignored but heroically she multitasked and handled several tables simultaneously with patience and dignity. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant despite the perfect service. The food and atmosphere were very substandard. We usually take photos of our food but this is probably one of the few times we didn't.

Apparently reservations are recommended I know they asked us and everyone else who entered even though it was early afternoon on a Wednesday. We were seated in the dining room just off the lobby, yes very nostalgic, the dim lights and cloth covered tables takes you far far away from this beach town even though the ocean is washing over the beautiful sand just across the street. Our server Chloe was exceptional from the moment we were seated and throughout our dinner service. The menu is pages long so unless you've been here before and have a favorite it's a little overwhelming but we got through it and Chloe was patient as we ordered single items until we decided on our entree's. Appetizer - The baked clams, made to order, so there is a wait but there is also crusty Italian bread and oil for dipping while you wait and they are definitely worth the wait. Soup or Salad - comes with the meal so we chose one of each - the spinach soup is heavenly with it's velvety texture and served hot (nothing here arrives lukewarm) the salad is traditional but the balsamic dressing is magical I wanted both so we shared. We picked the lobster ravioli and chicken piccata for the main courses and that's when we agreed this is probably the best restaurant in town, the food was amazing as was the service. Most of us arrived on time and a few staggered in within 15 minutes thereafter. Our server did a great job hosting us and he was both extremely knowledgeable and honest about the various entrees which I very much appreciated. In the end, I chose the linguine vongole. This typically isn't a dish I'd order but I was having a difficult time making a decision likely because it was well after my normal dinner time. That's on us for enjoying too much pool time. ;) To my surprise, this pasta dish was incredible! The sauce was epic and they didn't scrimp on the clams. I also started with a Caesar salad. It was average. The dinner portions were a decent size from what I could see and everyone seemed satisfied with their choices. We had 3 people in our group who either suffer from celiac or possess a gluten allergy so they ordered gluten free pastas and rolls. All three were shocked (in the best way) by the quality of the gluten free bread service. Speaking of bread service, we were served fresh bread with roasted garlic, herb butter, and oil prior to dinner. Yum!! The only negative experience we encountered was at the end of our meal. Unfortunately, the hostess didn't convey to our server we would be on separate checks and charged the entire bill to one of our group (they hold a card in advance). I can understand this would be aggravating to a server especially at the end of their shift. However, it would probably be best to tap into one's showmanship and not allow the annoyance to be seen. I didn't penalize his gratuity because I grasp he was annoyed and tired. But for this, he did a phenomenal job taking care of us. It was just a disappointing way to end our experience. Additionally, the hotel charges a service charge if one utilizes their credit card rather than charging it to their room. Unfortunately, we didn't learn this until after the fact and we were annoyed because a few of us were actually holding the room card in our hands along with the credit card trying to decide which to use for payment. This would've been a prime opportunity to school us on the policy. Furthermore, we should've been informed upon arrival or has some visible signage. All in all, it was a nice dinner and all of our meals came out as ordered which says a lot for 13 orders and 3 gluten allergies.
