I recently visited this store location looking for specific items, including a sofa. Having browsed online ahead of time, I knew what I wanted and the sales process was straightforward. I received the items as scheduled seven days later but the sofa arrived damaged with a puncture on the left side. Their doorstop delivery unfortunately did not include the courtesy of removing the stretch wrap and cardboard from the sofa or trash removal. Because we were left to handle this, it prevented us from inspecting and refusing the sofa before delivery personnel left. I contacted the store, quickly submitted photos to the customer care email address, and a replacement was sent to me three business days later. While the damaged sofa and inconveniences could have been avoided with better quality control and a standard practice to remove packaging before delivery personnel leave, I appreciated that the store was very apologetic and took swift action to resolve the issue.

He abruptly told me they had no other colors so I asked if I could see the box to get a closer look he then held it up and kept it away from me. After this I was done. I purchased a mattress here about 3 months ago. The mattress had a mattress cover on it and was completely clean- when they came for pick up they said it had some "lint" on it so they wouldn't return it. I spoke to the "Area Manager" and he told me the deliver driver told him it was "discolored"- Not true and I have photo proof! I was very kind, never rude nor argumentative but I do deserve a refund of some sort- I explained that to the manager and he said he would get back to me.. 1 month later and still nothing. The two gentlemen were the utmost in professionalism and courtesy. The destination was a third floor apartment and they didn't bat an eye. Another local company she purchased from furniture from refused to carry it to the apartment without an additional $200 payment. Not saying who that is, but they're in the Smith Farm center not too far from the TJ Maxx. People like these two gentlemen are why I continue to do business with stores like Mattress Firm and NOT with places like... those other guys.
