It is the Assistance League's store, a nonprofit volunteer organization offering community programs to fill needs such as providing school uniforms, essential items to kids in foster care, meals and other services. That means that you're supporting a great cause when you shop at this thrift store. This is not a large store but they have a great variety of items. Sometimes I have to be in the mood to sort through stuff to dig and find something at larger stores. That is not the case here. They do a great job of selecting and labeling the items and have quality pieces. It is full of unexpected treasures, like vintage brands and jewelry. I found the perfect job interview outfit here along with vintage round pearl earrings and professional blazers. The volunteers are super nice and helpful. New merchandise is put on the floor daily and each item is priced very affordably. Apart from their clothing sections, they also sell accessories, shoes, home furnishings, linens, antiques, collectibles, books and furniture. They accept donations during store hours and all donations are tax deductible.

This is not the place to go shopping for unique clothes. Let me tell you the reasons I think this thrift store rates five stars for me personally. One. The incredible amount of product turnover. Things (usually furniture) are coming in the back door all the time throughout the day. I've seen people literally sit by the door in chairs and watch things come in so they can pounce on them. Don't these people have jobs? The second reason is the prices. So many thrift stores are overpriced and not much below new retail. This thrift store has lots of product and has to move it so they keep their prices low. Nothing is priced so you ask the front desk for costs. This is a super fast and easy process. If you get a large item like filing cabinets, couches etc. they can deliver it to you for a small fee depending on where you live. And lastly the friendliness of staff here is the best I've seen around. Every employee that I've passed either say good morning smile or ask if you need help. I really enjoy this store. Tip the more things in your basket the more of a discount try not to buy just one thing if possible.

Then...nothing. Over the past month, I reached out multiple times just to get an update on when my items would ship. Instead of proactive communication, I had to keep following up myself. When I finally did get responses, they were delayed and filled with excuses. At that point, I requested a full refund. Time will tell if that process is handled any better. This experience also made me question the influencer who heavily promoted the brand while openly stating she earns a commission from sales. i went to the mostly clothing focused thrift store yesterday with the primary motivation of…read moredropping off some clothes as a donation. the donation dropoff is as convenient as i've seen at any place, with the dropoff location being an open window with a ledge counter, on the northeast exterior of the store, with the window having been open every experience i've had visiting the store during operating hours. furthermore, having travelled a little out of the way to dropoff the donation, i'd decided to shop in the store while i was there. although i've been to the store before to browse for miscellaneous clothing, i looked with more intention yesterday for clothing from the specific brands featured at the retail store where i'm working. and though i did not find any clothes by the specific for which i'd searched, i found a couple good quality, decorative hats to give as gifts, as i've found a hat is a clothing item that serves as an appropriate gift when you are uncertain about the size your recipient wears. and lastly, as commentary to the overall quality and selection at the store, i'll say the selection is large and good quality, though leaning toward one of a kind, miscellaneous clothing, especially regarding shirts, rather than specific brands. and further, the store offers a variety of products alongside the clothing, including assorted household appliances, books, and home decor.

I've bought a few things from here and had a good experience with the workers. There was one time I didn't buy anything because the line was so long and seemed to not move. They do have a $5 rule if you use your credit card. I didn't have cash, and my total was under $5, so they had me go pick out some stickers to up the price. Not my favorite way to make my total more, so next time I will bring cash.
