The one attribute about this one that makes it so bad is the customer service. They have never been that friendly with me any time I have ever been here. Here to pick up a Western Union money transfer and I'm met with a disgusting attitude from Deshire or Deshine, however her name is spelled. She's making it seem like it's my fault that there is no staff member available at the photo lab AND the drawers are locked AND Walgreens won't let employees put a sign on the kiosks that staff is not available AND it's almost 9 o'clock and Western Union closes at 9pm. I had enough of that attitude and just yelled back that I'm not here for all of these stupid excuses. Just fulfill my transaction. I mean, it's difficult to get folks to do their jobs these days and I'm sick of having to walk on egg shells because they're having to do a job they agreed to. Sheesh!!

This location is closest to my home, so my prescriptions are there due to proximity and ease of getting to the location. But there is little easy about picking up a prescription here. Whether you go inside or use the drive thru, it's always a wait. Typically if you're in the drive thru line, and there are 3 cars in front of you, you're looking at no less than 20 minutes from the time you get in line. Inside, they are only moderately better. But of course to write a review, there had to have been a deciding factor... I happened to drive by and there was no one in the line at all at the drive thru. Perfect opportunity to get in and out quickly. I pull up and see at least 3 people inside working. I know that not everyone can do the sales part, there may be an assistant who just works filling bottles. But three people. I waited. 10 minutes later I had not only not been served, but hadn't been acknowledged. It's one thing to not be able to get to me because you're busy, it's another altogether to simply pretend I'm not there. After that 10 minutes, I left. I think what is more annoying is I get daily robocalls from Walgreens telling me to come pick up my prescription. I TRIED, no one wanted to sell them to me... Trust me, were it not for the proximity, I would have left this Walgreens long ago.

A very convenient location along the border of the Garden District and Irish Channel…read more Product: Just like any typical Walgreens, you'll find Rx and OTC medications, beauty products, camera and other electronics, and a small food selection, dried and frozen. It is rather unremarkable in this respect. (3 stars) Service: Counterside. I've found the employees to be competent enough, and they are mostly long-term, so you can get to know them (I used to live in the Irish Channel a few blocks away and went here often then). The lines can get a little long, but it's because it's near the touristy part of Magazine, so there's a lot of foot traffic. (3 stars) Facilities: This location has been here a number of years (over a decade, at the very least). It is a clean, stand-alone brick building typical of this chain. There is off-street parking with access via Magazine and the side streets. The rear parking is somewhat shared with other storefronts on that block. The interior is neat. (3 stars) Overall: Nothing really special here other than location. It is quite convenient for both neighborhood folks and tourists alike. (3 stars)

As a loyal Walgreens customer the lackluster staff and disgusting dishonesty by their chief pharmacist at the time this happened is a disservice to the Walgreens pharmacy staff at other locations, I who are honest and competent, unlike her, and don't try to abuse their position of trust with vulnerable folks (I have severe adhd and high functioning autism.). disabled folks and Neurodivergent folks should go to any other Walgreens location. The store staff there are nice but the pharmacy staff should've investigated or fired. The head pharmacist (assuming it's the same lady) in particular. I would give zero stars if that were an option
