Dr. Rooks guaranteed my prescriptions were refilled, as requested by my local pharmacy. Her staff were on top of my records release request and her nurse Angela would call to let me know. I could check the pharmacy's app on my phone to verify the prescription was going through. Everyone at Tanner Primary Care made the transition as seamless as it could be, knowing I had lost my faith in the healthcare system. They are one of four physicians I trust to attempt to put their patients care first. I respect their commitment and courage. Everyone has the compassion to be able to assist and advocate for their patients. I will miss Dr Rooks. See and the physician who she took my care over from will always be missed.

Labeled me confused WHEN I COULD NOT HEAR AND told them I could not hear them am hearing impaired. Treated me for a STROKE THAT I DID NOT HAVE . Told me I DID NOT HAVE HIGH blood pressure when I DO and it was that REASON I was there, was a reaction to a blood pressure medicine I was taking. They kept me for THREE days running tests that WERE NOT MY PROBLEM and did NOT treat me for what WAS my problem. Never gave me a replacement for blood pressure, ignored the pain I was in from the medicine I was taking. Said I had pain in my neck and arms WHICH IS FALSE. Told them I took medicine for my heart, they IGNORED, told them I had sleep apnea and needed a machine at night, which they IGNORED. Once they finally believed me and released me I had to go to Griffin Medical Center to get the help I STILL NEEDED, where I was treated in a DOCTORS OFFICE and released the same DAY. Now waiting on all the bills that will come in THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY.

Although she is polite, she isn't friendly or welcoming. She also smells very strongly of cigarettes, which I find unprofessional for a medical office. The wait time is a standard 30 min+, like any doctor's office. The provider I saw was nice, but she did not seem thorough. There was no patient education involved in my visit. As I said before, everyone seems nice, but no one is friendly or comforting. This office lacks those important qualities. Mediocre care.
