Not only did Danielle provide a reasonable estimate for the work, but the parts arrived quickly for installation, and the first tech (I didn't catch his name) identified an issue with one of the openers prior to finishing the work. He said it didn't sound right and wanted to order another motor. It came the next week and it got replaced by Matt. He was totally meticulous about the installation and worked so hard. Everything is perfect and we are so happy with the product and the customer service. Thank you!

We had a major issue with one of our garage doors a while back. While the bolt lock was engaged, my…read morewife went to open the door, didn't realize the bolt was on, and WHAM! the arm was ripped right off the garage door as it tried to lift. Total mess. As our door was being shredded, a neighbor happened to be walking by and saw the entire thing go down. He walked over and recommended J & R for the fix. He told us of the great experiences he had with them and at that moment, that sounded pretty good to me. I called up and they were able to get me an appointment just an hour and a half later, which was awesome. Brian arrived right on time and was very professional from the get go. He explained the entire job in detail to me and quoted us what I felt was a fair price. I was very impressed with how fast he worked. Everything was up and running in no time. Overall, I was very happy with J & R. I would recommend them for sure.

My double garage door started to not open more than a foot or so. I "trouble shot" it as best I…read morecould. I figured it needed new springs as it was quite old circa 1996 or so. The double springs were kind of unique and I could not find them anywhere. And I was not sure that was the problem anyway. My brother recommended Miller as he had been very satisfied with the work they did installing new rails and opener to his garage in Cranbury. Similarly to Carl B. who posted a review here, I did not have them actually work on my garage because I discussed with Miller what I had done to the door to trouble shoot it, and the gentleman said it was not the springs because they had not broken! He suggested I check my unit for force adjustments and if it did, to adjust the "up" one. Damned if that did not fix the issue! I also lubed the various parts and the unit is working just fine! Indeed if I need actual work done or a replacement unit you can be sure that I will call these guys as should you! Gents of Miller, I owe you a case of your favorite beer! Many Thanks!

A real predicament since our cars are on the inside and freedom is tantalizingly just beyond the metal barrier. Rather than contemplate slow starvation and an inexorable slide into cannibalism we got smart and reached out to Marty at Princeton Overhead Door. The man with a half century in the business was here in an hour and had the door fixed in a flash. A true (old school) professional in a time when that title has been seriously devalued. Thanks Marty. I don't think I'd dig being a cannibal, but maybe with a few fava beans and a nice Chianti I could be persuaded. An easy five stars.
