Asked nurse for one of my medications I needed daily never gave it to me until I flipped the next morning . Needless to say he surgeon Dr. Beck who thinks is first name is Jesus Christ acting like he was on commission when I said not having surgery here I felt so not safe. He kept calling the nurses phone to get me to have it done when I finally said no he insulted me. So if your looking for a surgeon who only cares about money here's your guy my suggestion run ..... South Shore Orthopedic in Hingham was fantastic . Surgeon talked to is like we were right on his level like a human being should be treated . Beck is a joke ! Would let him remove a splinter. Disgusting bedside manner . ER is unacceptabl. I also work in healthcare would never treat a patient in that manner.

She told me she looked in my chart and everything looked fine, so she didn't understand why my pcp wanted me to come. I told her I think I have endo and she asked why I thought that. I told her my symptoms and she basically told me she has no idea why I'd think I have it. I told her that's why I want to speak with a real doctor. I was in genuine shock at the way I was treated and won't be booking an appointment here ever.

Thumbs up for South Shore Endoscopy Center! For me, a…read morecolonoscopy is one of those "Just Gotta Do It" things. This was my second-ever, and the first one here. It was a breeze and I'd encourage those on the fence about having the procedure to do so, and to do so here. They were diligent in making sure I scheduled the appointment; they gave me info before the appointment but I Googled it as well because, well, we're boldly going where no one has gone before (other than that 1st appointment), and I wanted to know what to expect. The only challenging part for me was the prep, particularly going a week w/out raw fruits and veggies. I eat healthy and that was hard, BUT, I gladly went w/out to make this easier for everyone involved. They gave me anesthesia, and honestly, I thought they were pranking me when they woke me. I kept saying, "There is no way you finished. How long was I out?" They were very nice and said, "90 minutes. Everything went great and we called your ride; he's already on his way. You are to do nothing for the rest of the day." And that was that. Everyone who worked there was pleasant and seemed to genuinely like what they do, and for whom caring for patients and each other is instinctual. Very positive experience.
