The local mechanic said that the part was defective and he couldn't help me out unless I got a new part. After notifying Daurios about the supposedly "defective part", Greg paid for my truck to be towed to his own mechanic and it was fixed within a few hours of my truck being delivered to Greg's mechanic. Greg not only paid for my towing, but he refunded my $1,600 for the part minus a small S&H fee (that I didn't even need, even though the other mechanic shop said I did). What would have cost me over $2,000 at the 'other local mechanic', Greg had it fixed like new for $175. Greg and the Daurio Team are honest, reliable and stand behind their word! The owner of the company looked at our problem and was able to arrange the repair that same afternoon even though they already had a full schedule. They had a new leaf spring for our trailer in their inventory and were able to have it installed on the trailer within an hour. Speken Iron and Metal specializes in trailer repair and their work and professionalism show it. This company could have really taken advantage of our situation because we had to get the repair done in order to get back on the road. The cost for the repair including the new leaf spring was very reasonable and fair. We were treated like we were a long time customer. Even though I live about 180 miles away in Eastern Colorado, I will be taking all of my trailers to Speken Iron and Metal for repairs and maintenance. I also grabbed a grounding cable to replace the corroded mess that has been hanging off my negative battery terminal the past few years. It's been about three weeks since I put my shiny new starter in, along with a fresh grounding cable, and every time I turn my key in the ignition I smile.

We got an appointment for this morning and on the way to the shop had a tire on the trailer blow out. We limped into the shop. We were greeted in the parking lot by Brian and Brian, they immediately started work on truck then evaluated the tire issue on trailer. We needed new tires all around. After we saw the tires we absolutely agreed. We went to the tire shop recommended and Brian brought the rims to the shop and had them put the new tires on the rims.
