I made multiple calls throughout December to follow up, but each time I was given vague responses and no specific answers. In mid-December, I was told I'd receive a callback, which never happened. At the end of December, when I called again, the person on the phone couldn't provide any information and claimed the staff member responsible wasn't available. Despite my repeated efforts to get clarity, I've been met with nothing but excuses and poor communication. The lack of follow-through and accountability is unacceptable.

My family and I were traveling to South Carolina on I-79, December 22, 2013, when the transmission came out of our 2006 Chevy Tahoe. We are members of AAA so they sent Thompsons Wrecker Service to our rescue. The tow truck driver suggested that we have our vehicle towed to Total Care Auto Repair. He said we would get great service at a good price, so the car went there and he drove us to a local hotel in Bridgeport to stay for the night. The next morning, I called and spoke with the owner, Mark as to what was wrong with our vehicle and what it would cost to get it fixed. This was the day before Christmas eve and we were broke down in WV, sure we were not going to be able to surprise my parents by showing up at their house on Christmas Day. When I told Mark my story, he said he would work around the clock if he had to in order to get our vehicle back on the road so we could finish our trip on schedule and that is exactly what he did. By 10:30 am, on Christmas eve. morning, Mark called me and said had one of his guys was on their way to pick us up and bring us back to the shop to get our car, so we could get back on the road. To finish and make a long story short, Mark went above and beyond the call of duty by staying until 2:30am working on our car, making sure it was ready to get back on the road by the next morning. Mark and his small crew of men saved the day for this family. We made it to our destination in plenty of time and everyone of us celebrated one of the best Christmas's we have had in a very long time. I will always have praise and goodwill for this business and it's owner, Mark. Give them a try and see for yourself. Bit of advice, do not conduct business with anyone else but the owner Mark and I assure you that you won't be disappointed. Gregory Smart and family

My husband assumed that it was because of the cold temperatures but nonetheless topped up the pressures in all four tires. A day later, the same message came on for the same tire. Upon the recommendation of a Clarksburg local, he called In & Out Tire, and was able to get a same-day appointment. They were able to diagnose and patch the problem (a piece of metal had punctured the tire), taking only 30-40 minutes from start to finish. He felt that the $23.14 charge was reasonable. We have now travelled back to Virginia (about 350 miles), and the tire held up perfectly. We hope not to need the services of In & Out Tire again, but if we do, we would definitely return to this business.

The front passenger side tire is almost completely flat. Add air to it, and sprayed w/soapy water to see where the leak was coming from. Gwynn was already closed by this point & was also not opened Sunday. Come Monday morning when he takes the tire back to have it replaced because it was clearly a defective tire, they wanted to charge him another $75 to replace this tire! Guy he dealt with could've gave not one crap in fact, after my husband tried to argue his case, this person said that "for all I know you could've pinched the tire anytime between leaving and today" Like what the literal he!!?? Who pays a total of $750 for four tires, taxes & whatever else is included just to turn around and sabotage one of said tires??? This being close to Xmas as is, we couldn't afford to just drop another $75 on a tire, so put an inside patch and came home. The point of this review is to warn anyone that if you think companies like this have any type of respect for you as a customer, think again.
