My initial consultation with Julenne in Granger, Indiana was a joke. The woman was eating and…read moreshowing me photos of her dog on her phone. She knew nothing of my condition, not even which hip it was despite receiving the referral weeks ahead of time! She was chatting with other clients and helping other providers during my visit and barely paid any attention to me at all! She had me do a few stretches, suggested ice and heat which were prohibited by my surgeon which she would have known if she knew anything at all about my muscle tear. She gave me no exercises, no personalized treatment plan, expectations for recovery or a commitment letter as guaranteed by the website. I attempted to contact ATI over and over about this mistreatment and was put on hold for literally hours, transferred to people who never answered and hung up on repeatedly. Finally, after I was able to submit a case, six weeks later they sent me a letter saying I was wrong and gave me no room for recourse. I have submitted an appeal to my insurance and would encourage everyone else who receives abominable treatment to do the same!

On day one, everything was clearly explained and I was shown the facility and how they operate before my evaluation was done. Then a plan was made for my rehab and I began coming 2-3 times a week. After about 4-5 sessions, they sent me to Fran, who started the practice, because I wasn't making the progress they hoped and they said they said the tougher cases his way given his experience. I worked with Fran and David religiously to try and get back to a functional state(I was in such pain that I was not able to work much or be active as I normally am). It took quite some time for me to become pain free and back to everything I do but I've gotten there. What is more important than anything though is that the environment at McDonald PT is so friendly and fun. I was there so long I met at least 15 different employees through passing or directly working with them if they were covering for Fran being out of town(Mary, Chad, Ryan, Tara, Elyse, Jennifer, Steven, Piper, etc). They were ALL so nice, helpful and there is a genuine care for the healing of the person. I am very glad to be done with PT but there is a part of miss that does miss the routine of going in and seeing everyone who were always a joy to see. I will absolutely return here if and when I have another injury!

They even helped me to understand what my next steps are beyond my time in therapy. Thank you to Chad and Ricardo, I am healing better and faster than I could have imagined. It is clear to me that this place delivers consistent and high quality care for its patients... as long as they fit a certain expectation. Unfortunately, my experience here is tainted by the way the front office staff treated my friend. I will let my friend speak for herself. I am attaching a photo of a review she submitted on Indeed.com. That review was not accepted, presumably because the business didn't want to post it on their Indeed page. Please read that attached review before finishing this review. When I asked the other front staff where my friend was, they tried to lie to me! Renee told me that she was not fired but instead that she chose to not work there. I am a white male so I am not surprised that my personal experience as a physical therapy patient was better than others' experiences here. Additionally, I believe that creating a hostile environment for a pregnant woman is directly contradictory to the role of physical therapists. I sincerely hope, for the health of future patients and workers, that this office addresses its deep rooted issues. The front staff at McDonald's Physical Therapy is discriminatory and dishonest. And they aren't even the people doing the real therapy work! How petty.

After the first visit, she set forth a plan to help relieve my pain. She took time to learn my body's strengths and weaknesses. She explained why I was feeling pain again so soon after surgery. She instructed me on how to do self care, and after a few visits I was back to feeling like myself. I now visit a few times a year, just to make sure I'm doing everything I can for my body.

Every week I felt substantially stronger and more confident in my physical ability. At my last appointment with the Orthopedic doctor, he looked at my X-rays and said, "Wow! This healed up way better than I expected! You can't even see the break here!" Kelley goes above and beyond in her care. We went there and they did the ultrasound for five seconds, I saw my kid and she immediately moved the device over to make it seem like theres no baby. Then she immediately pushed a transvaginal ultrasound and made while hissy fuss about it when my girl, who remind you has anxiety issues and brought this up to the doctor as well, didnt wanna do it. Had an anxiety attack and we left. Theres so many more minor details to this but I'm not gonna get into it. Women if you want a good place to get ultrasounds and prenatal. Go to the womens care center off Lasalle Ave. It's so much better there than that shithole that pretends that they know what they're doing.

It has come to our attention this morning that Eva has not been dressed for her occupational…read moretherapy, even though the house supervisor had been called in earlier this morning. She now has five minutes before her occupational therapy and will have to get dressed, which decreases her therapy time We would like a call from someone besides the house supervisor or the case manager. My mother-in-law was left on the toilet this morning for over 20 minutes by herself, even though there is a tag saying she is not to be left alone outside of the restroom door. The Aides this past week have put her pants on backwards, have not once encouraged her to drink, even though she's on the " once sip more program" which is also not noted outside of her room, on one occasion when I spent the night there her bed alarm went off. No one arrived for more than 10 minutes and certainly not in a hurry. On other occasions, I had to remind the staff to turn her alarm on. They stated she did not need it as I was there, but was also reprimanded that she should not get out of bed without a staff member. On the occasions that I was there, I was left to tend to her for myself. due to visual constraints, she is unable to use the call button. She was not checked in on on a regular basis. On the occasions when I was not there, there were often urination issues, which is disappointing since she is not incontinent Dominique, her aid for most of this week tends to sit up the desk outside of the door on her phone texting. . Some of these issues were brought up to Jim her case manager. We tried to notify the manager who was off for the day and were then sent to the voicemail of Kristin in the marketing department. The therapy departments seem to be doing very well. We have grave concerns about safety issues.
