I asked if I could have wash-cut-blowdry and she said "Yes but as I said we shut at 6". She really wanted me to know they shut at 6, kept talking about the leaflet and promotions, wasting time talking instead of getting the job done. The shampoo and the cutting were not pleasant, the lady was not careful nor gentle, kept pulling my hair, hitting my ears, not to mention the combing... ouch! Luckily the salon was empty, but as soon as her assistant showed up she started moaning and bitching to her, showing annoyance because of a last minute customer (me). She didn't really do what I asked for (a bit of restyling), just trimming instead, so I had to go somewhere else a couple of days later. I had been to another Supercuts salon before (Liverpool Station) and they did a very good job, in terms of customer service and the actual haircut. I don't recommend going to this one unless management and staff changes.

This salon offers a great variety of deals and offers and you can pick up a members card which entitles you to 25% off at certain hours of the day. The salon I went to in Floral Street, Covent Garden was white, cyber-minimilistic and very funky. White walls, tiles, and an island of chrome chairs adjacent to mirrors, with a separate room for client's coats and bags. The customer bathroom is supreme - a basket of fresh towels, hand soaps and lotions, all divine. So, the haircut? Great, very edgy, if that's what you're into. They took a bit more off than I wanted but this may have been due to language barriers. They have a menu of complimentary drinks, biscuits, and the most amazing collection of magazines to read - especially if you enjoy glossy music and fashion mags! Lovely people, relaxing atmosphere and the little added extras made this a most enjoyable hairdressing experience.
