I'm a one-person business owner, who wanted to have a uniquely-designed, two-sided business card that would not be easily forgotten. Yelp's reviews have never steered me wrong, so I picked a printer who had the most favorable written reviews: Rush Flyer Printing. I went to their Grand Street location and spoke with a girl in their 2nd floor office. She turned out to be their designer, Selin Kurun and we were able to get started immediately. What went through my mind was "how perfect this was!" Selin and I worked well together because I could see my design coming to life, literally, as we spoke. She understood exactly what I wanted and told me she would work on some designs for me and then email them. She was fast. I had the design I wanted by the following day. I had her add silver foil to it and then she sent it to the printer. Everything went smoothly up until the card was printed. Selin had told me the printer needed additional time because of the silver foil, which wasn't a problem because I wasn't in any hurry. I told her to have the printer take whatever time he needed. The bubble burst when I picked up my finished card. The design was perfect, but the type was so small no one would be able to read it. I was devastated. Mistakes happen but how could anyone print a business card that couldn't be read? Many angry words were exchanged. Unfortunately, you can't erase verbal communication and anger doesn't solve anything! Two days later I got an email from Eli Sadikov, the owner. He told me he wanted to work with me to correct my card. He wanted to make me a happy customer. He had seen what happened and he said the words I so wanted to hear: "This is no problem to fix. We'll simply use a larger font size and reprint the card - No Charge. It won't take long." Eli was true to his word. When I picked up my corrected card, it was perfect. Thank you so much, Eli. We operate a restaurant in lower Manhattan and cater to a local crowd and also a visiting crowd. We like to keep our menu seasonal so we change it frequently. We own a club in lower Manhattan and we are in a very out of the way spot near the Bowery. The best way to get our name out and a crowd in, is to get flyers into the hands of people, and to put up posters wherever we can. We will often have well known local entertainment and drinks specials. Rush Flyer has worked with us to get our flyers and posters printed every week so we can get the on the streets. We call them up and give them the information and leave the rest up to them as far as design and color. The prices are very reasonable too. Eli the owner is extremely concerned with keeping customers happy and regularly does backflips for us. He has (like all businesses) made mistakes, but he has always corrected them. We own several Pizza shops in Manhattan. We go though boxes and take out menus like crazy. Every location has to have a different menu and a different box. We had a printer who could not deliver fast enough. Now we are using Rush Flyer in Manhattan and there has never been a problem. When we are running low on supplies the manager of whatever location it is calls the order in and it is delivered the next day. If there are changes to the menu it is never an issue.
