When my son expressed an interest in keeping the piano and shipping it to his home in Columbus, Ohio, I thought it would be a good idea to have it evaluated before incurring the substantial moving expenses. I found Andy through Yelp, contacted him and explained the situation - along with the fact that I was only going to be in NJ for a very short time. He came out that evening and evaluated the piano thoroughly and systematically. He provided us with a comprehensive assessment of the piano in terms of about 40 different items, along with an audio file of some playing and voice notes. Besides being thoroughly professional, Andy was also a delight to work with. I recommend him enthusiastically!

Our experience with Temple Labor & Moving was overwhelmingly positive…read more We needed help moving a few large pieces of furniture from out Aunt's house to our new home. Almost all of the pieces were fragile (sets of china), mainly glass (china cabinets), or antiques (a large antique bar with large glass panels). On top of being fragile or having sentimental value, almost every piece was solid wood and very heavy. There was no question that we needed pros to help us out. Temple Moving fit the bill perfectly. Bode and his staff arrived on time, packed everything with care and caution, and headed down to our house. Once they arrived, they showed the same level of professionalism and efficiency during unloading and unpacking. We were very concerned given the nature of the items we moved. But Temple movers came through and made the entire process smooth and seamless. The price was reasonable, the work was professional, and we are very happy with our choice of movers.

Bode did come to our house prior to the move to give us an estimate. Like I said they were very fair, trustworthy and so polite. I highly recommend!!!

Aart was late to tuning my upright piano, which was meant to take place at 330 on a Friday. He arrived around 415 and didn't leave until 10pm. I have an upright piano in good condition that has been perfectly tuned in under an hour for half as much money. Most of the time spent in my apartment was recording his tuning on his phone and storytelling. When he left, the top octave was flat. I have had a few students use him as well. One had to have him come twice because he left keys in a bad way, another had the top octave nearly a whole step flat. They have also mentioned hours long processes on upright pianos. (I am with these pianos once a week so have see heard firsthand.) As he charges more than many locals and claims to be top notch (he tells many many stories about his pedigree), I feel this is unacceptable.
