The kitchen was frying up another batch and the friendly young lady at the counter took my order saying it would be about 13 minutes for the fresh chicken to be ready. Before she could hardly write down my order 6 more customers came up and also asked for fried chicken. Then the announcement was 11 minutes. Before the 8 minute mark arrived 4 more people got in the cue to order more chicken! She announced that those last people might have to wait for another fresh batch. But this wait time did nothing to deter their enthusiasm for the delectable chicken that is different than KFC or any other restaurant in town. Besides chicken they offer other hot food that varies from day to day. In the cold deli case they have potato salad, chicken salad, jello salad, cakes, pies, and multiple choices of food to go. One of my faves are the pecan coconut cookies which are baked there and not too soft or too crispy but chewy and delightful. But I am focusing too much on the Delicatessen but this store also has a handy assortment of hardware items and paint. The workers are nice and helpful too. Their variety of hard to get brands had me doubting authenticity, but I assume they must have some pull. I have NEVER seen a selection of OPUS X like they have here, as well as other limited run cigars. I bought more than I should have, but seemed like this was the opportunity to load up for the holidays. Sales tax is pretty low in KY, so soften the blow on what are generally overpriced cigars across the board. Most sticks were selling for 10%-15% OVER MSRP. If you buy 10 or more, then you get a 10% discount. So end the day I overpaid for one box by 10%, but ended up breaking even if I bought back home with the higher tax. Benefit is I got a full box of Foundation Cigars, while most of my local and online trusted retailers were out. I would have also pulled the trigger on the Cohiba Wellers, but they were too pricey here. Overall worth a visit if you have some extra $ to drop on hard to find cigars.

We were impressed with the store's extensive inventory, which included a wide selection of items for hunting, shooting, outerwear, and archery.
