Another tree need pruning to remove some crossed branches to prevent disease down the road. Sometime in the past, a branch had broken off low on our pear tree, and decay had set in. It was too far gone to save, so it needed to come out. In addition to the trees, we had rootballs from four clumps of Japanese knotweed that needed to come out. They were at the top of a fairly steep slope and were too much for us to handle ourselves. Rowan Tree Care was here Saturday, and did a great job of fixing our problems. The trees look so much better, as does the bed where the knotweed was. Ed, Bo, and the crew were great to work with, very personable. They did a great job of cleaning up the work zones, to the point that you wouldn't know they'd been here. We have more work in the planning stages, and they'll be our go-to guys. I want to retract my review of this company. I was SO IMPRESSED!! But, in my cost (close to $10k)…read moreit stated my chain linked fence would be taken down and replaced back in PROPER place. When the guys returned to pick up the huge brush pile, their removeal of fence and their replacement of it was pathetic. I have dogs (they knew this). The chain link fence post holding the two panels 1) wasn't even hammered back into ground 2) there is now at least a 2-3 inch gap at the bottom that can easily be pushed so is of NO USE. The top of the chain link was attatched (two sections mind you) by two hooks that they haphazard "rigged". Due to health issues (a broken foot) i was unable to CK the fence but thought it would be great given their professionism. I was WRONG. I've sent multiple emails, calls and texts to owner Ed Sheffey and Bo Rowan since the beginning of Nov. with NOT EVEN A WORD in response. Everything I previously stated I retract. Any company (esp one you've done $$$ business with) should respond to ANY inquiry. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & TAKING RESP FOR THEIR WORK. I (who am on a very limited income but was fortunate to have some funds, due to my Father's passing, for household repairs.) NOW will have to spend MORE MONEY to replace / repair my chain link fence that was in excellent condition with no holes, gaps etc.. No response is unacceptable with the amt of money you have to spend for tree removal and for the end result to be shoddy, inconsiderate and ignored. I would give NO STARS if I could. I do NOT appreciate a company taking my money, mangling my fenced area for my dogs (which they had knowledge) and having NO RESPECT or CONSIDERATION for their customer. Pathetic. Do not let them lie to you about their great, Veteran service because 1) there is no respect for their customer and 2) any follow up or questions or ANYTHING - after THEY DEEM JOB COMPLETED- will be IGNORED. First off- great campground…read more Second off- office guy is great. Internet- above average, decent wifi signal fed by a 100/100 fiber connection. Great place to be if you work via Internet. Water- pressure was a bit on the low side, but clean and serviceable. Pretty hard though at 210ppm, so bring a softener. Sewer- every site has multiple hook points, all in good shape and not stripped out Electric- 50A/30A/20A service on sites, pedestal is limited to 50A total. Be careful with total accessories connected so that no one leg goes over 50A. Power quality is excellent with no brownouts. Campground is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of rustic decorations and the front office is like a mini museum of license plates. Be warned- it is truly built on the side of a hill and the long-term spots are geared towards shorter rigs. Roadway is a one way which goes up to the very top of the hill before going back down, better hope everything is bolted down tight before tackling it. The turn going to the pull throughs is pretty tight for longer rigs and has a pinch point at the bunkhouse and propane station. I brought a 41' Super C and 28' trailer and stayed for a month. Office guy was super accommodating and set me up in a pull through because I wasn't able to access any of the back in sites (the hill to site access is pretty steep). 3 of the pull throughs are about 75' long, 1 is about 50' and the other is about 35'. There wasn't enough room left in my 75' pullthrough so office guy set me up with a different parking spot nearby for my car. What impressed me most was the attention to maintenance. They actually have a mini snowplow and salt spreader to keep the roads de-iced and clean, even during snowstorms. Not only that, they keep the road (Pearl Ln) clean of trash out as far as both ends.

Very Disappointed With This Repair I would not recommend…read morethis repair service based on my experience. I paid to have my lawn mower repaired, but the mower was not properly repaired and is still not working as it should. I have been trying for approximately a month to get this issue resolved. My son has called and texted several times as well. At one point, the repair person told us he would come out on Monday to look at the mower. We followed his instructions and left the mower outside for him, but he never came and did not follow up with us. I have made multiple attempts to contact him and give him the opportunity to correct the problem, but my calls and messages have largely gone unanswered. I understand that repairs can sometimes require additional work, but once you have been paid for a repair, the customer deserves communication and an honest effort to make sure the problem is resolved. I have tried to handle this privately and have been more than patient. Unfortunately, after a month of trying to get a response, I feel I have no choice but to share my experience. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this repair service make sure they get everything in writing and are certain the repair is completed properly before paying.

I texted Chad, from engine rescue, and told him what was wrong and he was cool about it and said "I'll be by to check it out Monday" Monday came and went, no show. He texted me and apologized and said "I'll be there Thursday or Friday" Friday rolled around and guess what.....no show A week went by and I texted him again and asked if he was going to come look at it, or if I needed to figure something else out. His reply... "Yes! Sorry I've had a ton of stuff at the school this week, I'll come by Thursday or Friday at the latest" And guess what.... He didn't show up....again I waited almost 3 weeks and asked if he was ever going to come by, or if I needed to figure something else out. . His response "Sorry man. I was on vacation last week and I'm just now getting caught up. I will make it there by Thursday of next week. I promise." Guess what...I'm still having to borrow my neighbor's mower. This whole ordeal started on MAY, 11 2023. It is now AUGUST 4, 2023 and my mower is still sitting in the exact place that I pushed it into in the garage almost 3 months ago. I've never had this much trouble trying to hire someone.
