The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and filled with charm. Prices are very fair, and the furniture and trinket selection was both wide-ranging and thoughtfully curated. I even scored a custom-made Crimson Tide hoodie and sweatpants set for my daughter that was just too cute to pass up. At one point, I sat down on one of their leather couches to contemplate a dining table... and nearly dozed off--it was that comfortable. I called several times, I e-mailed and texted inquiring about the side tables. No one answered the phone or any of my mail. They cashed my check and never delivered the furniture. I've since learned from doing my research on their company that they've had numerous complaints with BBB and several people on this site have said they took their money and never received their product. But more importantly and most amazing, is what the PIER Foundation does! The PIER Foundation gives job opportunities and provides job training for adults with disabilities. This sometimes forgotten people of our world are given the ability to work and earn a living by doing what they can at the store! More then half of the employees are adults with disabilities that refuse to let the minor setback of a medical condition hold them back from living the best life possible. I cannot think of a better place to give, donate or support then The PIER Foundation Thrift Store.

There are several jewelry vendors at the market but this particular display caught my attention because when it comes to jewelry, I love beading, bright colors, bold designs, flexibility and pieces that can be easily layered. Christina had beautiful beaded necklaces that are wonderful with column dresses or simple monochromatic designs that really showcase the jewelry. I especially love pieces who have a complete collection so that you can also purchase coordinating pieces like rings, bracelets and earrings. Within her collection, she had these really cool coin pendants that can be worn in layers around the neck or added to a favorite charm bracelet. These pieces are great with denim and leather. Other unique pieces featured crosses and tassels and whether you prefer it dainty or bold, Christina had some options for you. Since this was my first visit to the market, I did not have a lot of time to spend. However, I do plan on returning for future visits and Three Birds Studio will be at the top of my list! With Mother's Day approaching, this is the ideal place to find that perfect gift for mom or that other special woman in your life. Check it out!
