I wasn't quite sure that the tree was defective, maybe I tried pushing it in ground that was too hard! Anyway, the customer service rep was very kind and said they would just send me a new part. Well the new part was different when I got it, it didnt fit, so the company sent me a new tree. I thought that was very generous. They really stand behind their products. Also the customer service man that I dealt with was very helpful and kept me informed about what was going on at their end.

AK's…read moreowner provided a prep demo to go over the recipe & provided many do's and do not's she had either learned by experience, or from local macaron business owners in the twin cities. The demo was very helpful before we broke in to groups and tried it out for ourselves. Due to this class' popularity - the group sizes were a bit larger (we had 5). Although we all found tasks to divvy up, we did feel bad that most didn't get to really try out all the steps of making this high-maintenance cookie to really get hands-on experience. Becki, our instructor & AK owner, was very interactive and helpful throughout the whole class. She provided good tips and tricks & created a fun environment, encouraging & fostering great group interaction. During the baking time we took a brief "shopping break" to explore the store. Becki has so many practical, high-quality cooking items it is a great store. You could find absolutely anything you could possibly need in your kitchen! Back to class, Becki had prepped the buttercream for us to fill the cookies. She went over different combinations we could try with jelly fillings & then we got to try our hand at filling. We only wished we had remembered to ask a few questions about making the buttercream, since we didn't get to mix this up during the baking phase & gain hands-on experience. We are always so impressed with the variety of classes Becki offers, her passion for cooking, & we loved the great environment she fostered during the class. The members of the class were from all over the metro, proving it really is worth "the drive" to Buffalo if this is not a close location for you. AK's Facebook page and website are updated frequently to keep you in-the-know on all upcoming events. Time flies by during class! But you leave with a good experience, tactical skills, a recipe card, and for this class we each took home ~10 macarons. Bon appetit!

It was completed on 03/14/2024 After many requests for payment via phone calls, text messages, and letters, the manager, Jeffrey Krueger, has refused to pay me my proportion of the proceeds from these 2 auctions. Even though the auctions were closed and the funds were collected, ALA refuses to pay me any of the proceeds at all. I have been given excuses such as: "I can't find the paperwork", "It's really completed" and "We are very busy". Noone from ALA has never denied that they owe me this money but they refuse to pay it. Most recently, I was promised payment by Feb. 21st, 2025 but no payment has been received as of yet, 3 weeks later and over 11 months from the time that their contract promised payment. Fall Harvest Orchard is my family's FAVORITE orchard!…read more We started going to this orchard 5 years ago when I was looking for a nice orchard for the annual outing for the families of the Twin Cities Asian Moms Facebook group. There is a variety of fun activities for kids of different ages and many animals for people to interact with. My two boys LOVE visiting with the baby chicks every year. There are also many great options for photos with friends and family - including a sunflower field. Last but not least, there are many delicious types of apples available for purchase with the option to pick your own. The wristband is a great deal if you would like to take part in several activities - my husband and I both enjoy the Giant slide and the Barn slide. Highly recommend checking out Fall Harvest Orchard for a fun Fall outing!

They're able to do as many activities as they want and there are SO many to choose from. However, you can have plenty of fun there without the wristband. There is a smaller corn pit, animals to pet and feed, and other free activities to enjoy. There are also plenty of food trucks and spots to grab drinks which makes it ideal to spend a few hours there at least! In addition, they do have some apple trees to pick apples from if that's something you're looking for. It does get VERY busy so I'd recommend heading there pretty early. Looking forward to coming back for many years to come!
