They came highly recommended by my podiatrist so I decided to check them out. I like how they initially scan your foot and also analyze your walking pattern before suggesting a shoe. I ended up with a great pair of Brooks Ghost Max 2. My son's shoe was a little challenging but it was amazing to see how different shoes affected his gait. New Balance came out on top for him. They didn't have the color he wanted so they ordered the one he chose and they will arrive in 5 business days. They give you a choice to ship to your house or ship to the store which I thought was nice. Ryan scanned my feet. Explained what the scans revealed and showed me on his iPad. I told him I would try whatever shoes the scan told him I should wear. He brought out three pairs, I tried five after everything was said and done. I really like two of the five. I have not put on shoes that seemed made for my feet in a long time. There was no rush. It's nice to go into a shoe store where there are experts who understand feet, the shoe design, and which feet go with what shoe. Everything was excellent. They didn't have the exact size I needed, but she ordered some ASICS in dolphin blue, and when they come on, I will probably buy them, but there is no obligation. You get great service here, and I get a 10% military discount, which I appreciate. I was on vacation and my plantar fasciitis flared up very painfully. The staff here worked with me in helping me find shoes that I could comfortably walk in without aggravating my pain any further. They were knowledgeable of the large volume of shoes they sell as well as my condition. I was able to buy exactly what I needed to save my vacation. The staff was also very patient while working with me. Very highly recommend shopping here for your running gear. I needed new running shoes and stopped into this store. I really liked my last Brooks and wanted a new pair. The employees were friendly and not pushy. They will watch how you walk to determine what kind of support/shoe is best for you (if you want the advice). After I left the store I looked up the shoes I purchased to see if I overpaid in store, and the price in store was the same I could find in stores online. If I could give no stars I would! I was in the Running Zone in Melbourne over a week ago in desperate need of comfortable sneakers for work. I wasn't too thrilled initially with the service, but I needed the sneakers. They had to be ordered in the color I wanted. When I picked up the shoes and got home they were in Gray not black. I then went back to the store and when I explained the situation the girl behind the counter became very nasty and condescending. I told her that my mom just passed away and that I didn't need the attitude. She looked at me and SMILED with a smirk on her face saying "I'm sorry about your mom." Whoever hired her, I'd recommend getting her out of your store. HORRIBLE customer service. read more

I was having problems with my feet. After many recommendations I went to the Running Zone. I told them my problems and they suggested a pair of shoes and they told me if I had any issues to come back. After wearing them for four hours my feet hurt more than ever. When I brought them back they refused a refund because they showed some wear. How is anybody supposed to know how they feel unless they wear them. You don't always get what you pay for. This is one of the best running stores I've encountered. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They have a large selection of shoes and will take as much time as you need to find the right one for your stride. They have great specials/promotions and a generous return policy. I once bought a pair that just didn't feel right after about 3 runs and I received a full credit towards another pair of shoes. The owners and staff are passionate about running and manage a lot of the charity and fun runs around town. They also have a running club and a monthly newsletter (and probably a lot more I haven't experienced). If you are new to the area or new to running, I highly recommend checking them out. read more
