I came here because I was told they have power step brand orthotic inserts which I need for my feet. They have a great selection of inserts and running and walking shoes. I went in this store after recommendation from my chiropractor about a month ago. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and what she said for my issues made sense. I was wanting to think about things since they cost so much before I purchased. I ended up going to another shop I was recommended to by a friend and purchased a pair there. They were not helping my feet pain so I went back in to this shop today to purchase the pair she originally talked to me about. She said you were here had me pull all kinds of shoes and spent my time and then left to "think it over" and bought somewhere else. So you want me to do all that again?" I said no forget it I will just go back to where I got these from. She goes" yeah". Like I am sorry that I made a purchase somewhere else. But I came back to them because of my initial experience with her was a good one. I have never been treated so poorly at a place of retail in my life. I was at the other store on a weekend evening and they felt good in the store and I was desperate for relief and unfortunately they did not work out for me. Apparently if you want to mull it over, then purchase elsewhere and have your purchase not work out, you cannot come back to Running with E's to buy from them without them getting pissed that you didn't purchase from them initially. People come to places to try things and don't purchase all the time. You do not treat people with so much indecency because they did not choose your store after time spent. I fully intended to get a pair today but was not wanted. I will never be back and will not have good things to say in the future. read more

Once again Running w/ E's has exceeded expectations! You can always be assured that they stand behind anything they sell in their store. Service is friendly and they are very easy to deal with. After a few practices my son was having arch problems and they replaced the shoes with a pair better suited to his feet. They do a great job supporting the local schools and running community!! read more

NOT HAPPY!!!!! I bought a pair of shoes ,got them home and changed my mind. Took them back the next day only to find out they would not let me return them because they were on clearance THE THING IS NO ONE MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THIS POLICY TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT THEM. I've only been here once so I can only speak for that visit, but they were so helpful! I came in for running shoes after cheap Walmart shoes injured my feet. They took time to evaluate the way I walk and how my feet are shaped so that I could get the kind I needed. I absolutely love my shoes and have had no problems with my feet. Incredible service from people who really care about you and know what they're doing! They will watch you run, inspect the wear patterns on the soles of your old shoes, and recommend the shoe that's most likely to be a good fit for you. They also seem to be a sponsor or organizer of just about every 5K around. You will pay more than you would pay for some cheap pair of running shoes from Walmart, but it's absolutely worth it. read more

Stopped into Running with E's downtown Adrian, MI. Didn't say anything other than interested in trying some different shoes, so I did. I tried on 4 pair as the girl helped me. She asked what I liked and told her, but said I was just looking for now...uh, her face looked surprised, then she said "we don't do that here." I was shocked..."what" you don't?" She then copped an attitude and grabbed the boxes and stormed to the back, came out and I tried to tell her, thanks for your help.,and she was ticked! Ummmm, you don't tell a customer they Have to buy something...that's wrong, and you lose business this way. A customer does what they want to do, you cannot Expect them to buy...they are allowed to look, hello! So, of course because of her attitude and even thought of expecting that, I don't care to ever come back and so you lost a customer. Not Smart. read more

After years of hearing that Running with E's sold quality shoes from family and friends, I decided to pop in there to look over some shoes. Obviously the price of their shoes are pricey but that's attributed to the higher quality shoe they carry. I picked out a few shoes to try on and right away noticed how I felt I was a nuisance with his demeanor towards me. He brought a few pairs I was interested in but not all the ones I requested. When I asked him why he stated he won't sell me a pair of those particular shoes. Confused by that answer, I just moved on to trying on the shoes he brought out. He explained the logistics of the shoes to me but was short when I asked questions that he thought were maybe ridiculous. After telling me a few shoes wont work for me (that being said without me even trying them on) and breaking it down to 2 that I liked I asked him if he could write down the names of those 2 particular shoes so that I could come in a few days later as I wanted to wait until after my payday to purchase them. He said he didn't need to write the names down as he should remember me & the 2 I liked. I then told him he will see me a few days later to come in & buy a pair and I proceeded to take a picture of them to look at later on my phone. That's when he proceeded to toss the shoe boxes aside, tell me to get the hell out of his store and told me (in front of other customers) that he has no time to deal with idiots like me. I was shocked as I didn't know what caused him to say these things. When I asked him what did I do, he just again stated that I was an idiot. I have never ever been treated that in a place of business, especially considering I was nice and polite to him. Needless to say I will never set foot in there and will spread the word around the community to his treatment and behavior.
