Debra Runback and her staff Dora and others always available to answer my questions, Deborah is extremely knowledgeable. She was very good at getting back to me about things. Most importantly however, my case was a very complicated one as it had both multijurisdictional complications and potential due to the nature of my work and my travel in Arizona at time of injury. The complication being California state disability insurance (SDI) had been paying me, and SDI might request back more than I received after the Arizona attorney got her percentage due to Arizona only paying a percentage difference between what you can do now, and what you did before the injury (light-duty standard) . California the standard is can you perform your regular work duty. I'm told AZ doesn't consider pain much as a disability, and they don't believe in alternatives such as massage therapy, acupuncture, etc.. Complicated as mentioned . The benefit being that we may potentially turn to California for benefits. Deborah was not greedy, she actually put my best interest first and agreed to step aside when it started becoming clear it would be in my best interest to pursue the case in California. She worked with me right up through the transition, and then gracefully withdrew from the case because she truly wanted to help and it was in my best interest. She didn't get paid a penny, yet helped me to the end. Thank you Deborah. If we lose the jurisdictional hearing in California, I truly hope she will accept me back.
More Importantly, I hope to get back to my regular job driving my Greyhound bus as soon as possible, that is why I had this painful shoulder surgery, but not before ready for everyone's safety. read more
